The foods were pretty good and full of flavors! The prices are standard for Winnipeg, and as for someone from the Bay it's soooo affordable. The interior is more modern and filled with tons of seating. The portions were huge as well! I fed a family of ~8 folks for less than $100. Crazy. It would be double the price back at home. My only critique about this place is that the foods took awhile, and we were given ~30 minute wait. I ordered via phone past 1130AM but didn't get our foods until closer to 1PM. Granted that the restaurant was busy and only one person was working. We were losing our patience but they packed free appetizer for us to make up for it. That was kind of them! Most of us got the large pho beef ball with steak pho and it came with a fat container of noodles + veggies and a big container of soup. The broth was really flavorful. It did make me pretty thirsty afterwards. We had an extra container of soup after we ate everything. Such a good bang for your buck! The rice plates looked good as well. The spring rolls were good - came with delicious peanut sauce that I dipped my bean sprouts in to finish them up. I'd totally come back here and try their other items. One of my mom's friends recently dined here and highly recommended the beef stew noodle soup, so that was what I went with. Their beef stew noodle soup is pretty unique. Instead of a rice noodle or egg noodle option, they put both in the soup. It was definitely an interesting take, and the taste was really good too. The broth in particular was excellent, one of the best beef stew broths I've ever had. The ambience is quite modern and somewhat screams Northern Chinese restaurant more than a Vietnamese restaurant. The outside doesn't look anything special though aside from the nine dragons symbol (Cuu Long loosely translates to Kowloon, a region in Hong Kong). Service? Yeah they're a little scramble-y...but with these establishments I never expect much for service. Definitely will return. read more

Best vermicelli salad in the city!! The sweet and salty dressing you get really makes it. We always order the beef and get double the meat and it basically makes 2 meals! It's a plus that it's a lighter option for wanting Vietnamese with all the fresh veggies you get :) read more

Ordered #83 Chicken Chow Mein, but they forgot to put spice/salt/any flavoring. I called back 23 hours later because we spent the rest of the night across the city. I tried to explain that they forgot the spice (we ordered this dish two weeks earlier, so we knew this wasn't what the dish was supposed to taste like). The girl said, "Honestly, that dish is bland. You should have called yesterday, then we could've done something." I'm really disappointed that the staff would argue against a customer's taste buds AND talk down their own food. Very disappointed in how simple this would have been to remake the dish to keep me as a long-term customer. read more

The soup was delicious. Staff, very nice. I have been several times. I really want them to succeed because we need good pho on this side of town.
