There's a reason Pho Dai Loi is the #1 (out of 42) restaurant in Forest Park on Tripadvisor. It was easily the best Vietnamese meal I've ever had! There's free parking and the restaurant was busy in the middle of the afternoon. Signs everywhere say they're short staffed but my to-go order came out in less than 15 minutes. The prices are generally between $10-$15. Because I love noodles, I tried #27 (Bun Tom Thit Nuong Cha Gio) which is vermicelli with marinated grilled shrimp, pork slices and a crispy egg roll. Now I've had this same meal at 4-5 different restaurants but this version was fantastic! The portion size is great and the meat wasn't overcooked. I love their delicious Vietnamese style fish sauce (nuoc mam) so I poured it over everything including the salad. The shrimp were plump, the noodles were cooked perfectly & the crisp romaine and sliced carrots was fresh. But the mouthwatering marinated pork was easily my favorite part of the dish. Tender and juicy it tasted almost like barbecue but better! I DEVOURED my plate. The $14 price point wasn't bad either. I think I have a new favorite spot! Their temporary dine-in hours are 9:30 - 8:00 pm Monday - Saturday and 9:30 - 7:00 on Sundays. They are CLOSED on Wednesdays. To-go orders can be placed up until 8:45 pm on M-Sat. Enjoy! I've had Pho from different restaurants, and this seems a little different from the rest. I had the chicken Pho (22) I didn't have enough chicken or noodles, but the sweet tea was on point. The service was okay, they do make sure your water glass is full. Place is nice. read more

Imagine my surprise when I found an amazing pho spot near my house! Location and Parking Pho Tai Lo is located on Jonesboro Rd with a few other places in a strip mall. Parking is free. Venue and Atmosphere It's a cute spot with asian decor and lush landscaping outside. The last 2 hours of operation are takeout only. Food and Beverages My my my. Pho is my new comfort food. If I'm sick, skip the chicken soup and door dash from here. This is the most flavorful pho I've had in awhile, and they have a large variety of meats. I order a large since the price difference isn't that much and I get two meals out of it. Service Service is speedy and polite. Staff speaks limited English so if you have complex questions about the menu, you might not get a complete answer. First time here! It was busy but not overly so. Customer service was prompt and awesome. I'm used to rude Asian places (I don't take it personal), that means the food was good. I brought my best friend and my daughter here. They were patient and interacted with my child. Service 10/10. Food Review, let's get to it! 1. My best friend and I had Bun Bo Hue. She didn't like it, and honestly I've had better, I ordered a large but got the dinky pork hock. No big deal. The pork pieces weren't really tender, you had to work to get the flesh or skin from the bone. The broth was lackluster. It came with a powerful fish sauce on the side. I must warn you, it's not for the faint of heart. But it added much needed flavor. It said on the menu that it was spicy, but it really wasn't. Its not all bad, I'd recommend for the adventurous to try this. Fresh herbs were exactly that, fresh. The sprouts were not browning, the limes were juicy, not dry/bitter. I'd give this dish 7.5/10. 2. Eggrolls: Price wise, it was $5.00 for 2 pieces. I think it was a decent price for what you get. The eggrolls were good in size, essentially, it was PACKING. Lol. The sauce on the side was nicely balanced. Wish it came with more lettuce to eat the egg rolls with. If you haven't tried it, take a piece of lettuce, put your egg roll on there, place some herbs (mint/basil whatever you want), pickled radish/carrots and fold the lettuce over it, and dip in the sauce. You won't go back to eating Vietnamese eggrolls NAKED. Lol. 9/10. 3. Thai "pudding" drink: Ice, milk, red syrup and a myriad of stuff in it. Jelly, coco (baby) nut, jackfruit, coconut meat. $6.00 for this I think. Not worth it, tbh. It's meh. 6/10. 4. I don't know what it's called but it has Pork Piece, Fried Eggs on top and some pickles and cucumber. It comes with sauce and a side of pho broth. THIS WAS THE BEST from everything we had and let me tell you why. The pork was seasoned well, not overly salty and subtly sweet. It was cooked well, meaning still tender but not hard or chewy. What a hidden gem in South Atlanta area. Hu tieu nam vang is so delicious, sweet broth with earthy flavors and veggies noodles soup, melt in my mouth. Definitely will come back whenever I'm in town again. Interior is a bit outdated and crowded during lunch on the weekends, so a couple minutes wait is expected. read more

Appetizer came out timely, and the shrimp spring rolls were delicious with the peanut sauce. I never eat both but couldn't resist. The white meat chicken soup was all I expected. What a place. Authentic is the least part but delicious food. We finished our pho with nothing left. I can brag about their speed as well. 5 minutes after ordering, all our food arrived. Ambiance isn't much. I think they can use some touch up. Maybe some better lighting or chairs. I love the flower at the lobby. There are so many. Service is fast. Faster than McDonald's weirdly. We ordered and then few minutes later, we are eating. Price is reasonable even our friend paid. One of those asian fight over the bill situation. So happy. Food is amazing. We ordered the stuff shrimp as an appetizer and two large Pho dishes, one with brisket and steak and the other was vegan. Had plenty to take home afterwards and good as always. This is definitely my go-to pho spot whenever I need to make a trip to the airport. After my trip to Dallas, we decided to dine in here -- I really think Pho Dai Loi has some of the best pho in ATL, and personally - I think they taste better than the other locations. I ordered a beef brisket pho, and I always order a bubble tea at the end as well. They use a smoothie for their base, but it's really good and the boba is super chewy. Service is always super fast -- the beef brisket pho was so good. They give quite a good portion for meat, so that's always a good part. The broth is just the way I like it - greasy and savory. And of course... the green tea bubble tea was a perfect end to a meal. Pho Dai Loi really does it better than anyone else -- even if it's a far drive, I highly recommend you check this place out. Ordered the Bo Kho with Bun Mi and a Pho and both lacked flavor/aromatics. It almost seemed like the Bo Kho broth was pho broth with added lemon grass and annatto oil. If anyone has had authentic Bo Kho you would know the broth wouldn't be clear like Pho, it's darker. Service was excellent but the food left more to be desired. read more

I work nearby and Pho Dai Loi is one of our staples, especially when you're pressed for time but still want to dine out! The service is always good and quick and the food is always delicious! I went with a group of 5 coworkers and we were seated and served immediately. We ordered our food (3 of us went with the pho and 2 went with the bao bowl), and our food arrived within minutes. As always, the food was sooo good. I got the chicken pho (small bowl), which was more than enough and very filling. I added bean sprouts, Thai basil, and chili pepper flakes. Absolutely delicious! Love this hole in the wall place! Right by the airport so it's convenient when you're leaving or about to head there. Only feedback I would have is to get rid of the flies that are constantly around. Even had a friend find a fly in their food when they were mixing it up, but they immediately fixed the problem. Still went back due to good service, wonderful food, and nice atmosphere! This is not great especially I am from Asia plus living in Vegas. The spring roll isn't very fresh and the sauce it's not peanut sauce as they usually serve in Asia. The meat they use are in interesting color and the chicken is pounded fairly thin. The flavor is great, we simply wondered the reasons behind all the weird color. The best dish might be the sandwich. My first time going to the original location. I've grown up eating at number two in Buford highway and now number 3 in Duluth on Pleasant Hill. I can say all 3 locations have consistent flavors. Vietnamese food is my comfort food and I always get number 26 with the broken rice, egg omelette, grilled pork chop, shredded pork and a fried egg with fish sauce. Vermicelli rice dishes are also one of my favorite childhood dishes too with the egg rolls, grilled pork and grilled shrimps with veggies and fish sauce. Bun Bo hue super flavorful with the spices and great umami flavors and has vermicelli noodles. We walked in and got asked how many people and got placed at a table immediately and were given drinks. I was on the way to the airport from the city and wanted to find some authentic food (I'm Vietnamese). This place had one of the best reviews and I'm so glad I went. It was super crowded at 11am on a Tuesday! And there were a lot of Vietnamese people in there. Before I even got my food, I knew it was going to be good. I got the special rice platter (rice with pork chops, shredded pork, egg loaf, with sunny side up egg) and 3 layer dessert bean pudding. The rice platter came with a cup of broth which I appreciate because most restaurants don't offer that. It was a ton of food and I had no complaints- very good and taste is as expected. The sunny side up egg was a bit over cooked but I'll let it slide. I also got the 3 layer dessert bean pudding which is a classic but not offered at a lot of the restaurants I'm from. Yum.
