Before I discovered Dai Loi I thought the only place one could get this kind of food is on Buford Hwy. I was SO happy when I discovered Dai Loi because it is only 10 minutes away from my house. Almost every time I've been the large dining room is packed with (I'm assuming) Vietnamese families. I usually get a bahn mi or a noodle bowl- I love the chicken and lemongrass. The portions are huge and the prices are super cheap and the food is super fresh and delicious. They also have bubble teas which I love! I feel so lucky to have this place so close to me. read more

Omg! This was my first time here and I'm in love! The food was excellent and so was the service. I ordered to go their soup for the first time and they explained to how to put it together at home, which wasn't hard to do. And their BBQ pork sandwich is better than Burford Hwy ,which is really hard to beat! And their spring rolls, omg! The young lady at the register was awesome and beautiful. Amazing food. The pho taste exactly like it is supposed to, the broth was flavorful and we were provided with fresh, crunchy vegetables like bean sprouts and basil. Their bubble teas are good too, my favorite being the avocado, it was very thick unlike most places who use too much ice. Wonderful. read more

Okay I haven't had a lot of experience with Vietnamese food, but this was tasty. I had spring rolls served with a plumb sauce and a big bowl of soup full of tripe, tendon, beef, and noodles. They bring a big plate of peppers, bean sprouts and basil that I just dumped in the bowl. Delicious and cheap. Pro tip wait to be seated but pay at the register. read more

I don't know how the noodles are made, but it's very different from other pho restaurants. It's delicious! The Pho noodles tastes very fresh and like they are home made, they might be but I'm not 100 percent sure! It's close to the airport for a quick fix! We came here during dinnertime on a weeknight and business was looking mighty fine. The space is smaller, but better lit and immaculate. It's not as fancy as Dai Loi II, with its green walls, and the Vietnamese art, and the lights, and the ding and the dong. The menu is exactly the same as Pho Dai Loi II and I recalled the prices being the same. The service was timely, as with the other Dai Loi. The food has the same great quality as well. I like the consistency. I honestly thought there would be discrepancies between the food qualities. Actually, the servers here are friendlier. If I lived in this hood, I'd frequent this joint biweekly. I spoke with the owner briefly after paying for dindin. All 3 Pho Dai Loi are owned by different members of the family and operate independently of each other. read more

Good, fast, and reasonably priced. This is Vietnamese food as it should be. Dinner for 3 large mammals was about $50. We tried the fried spring rolls and the steamed rolls, both were good. The fish sauce with the rolls was a little weird, they usually serve these with peanut sauce, this may be a regional difference. My pork chops were perfect, as was the broken rice. My veggies were fresh and crisp. My egg cake, they called it a steamed omelet, could have been better but it was still pretty good. I didn't have room for any bubble tea, although it was offered in many different flavors on the menu. I just couldn't do it. Rice was already swelling past the danger zone and its a long ride back to Kentucky. So I save bubble tea for next visit, something I look forward to! read more

Been coming here since I was 10. Great Vietnamese food. The pho is real good. And when I'm tired of that I get the Bon bo hue. My two fav dishes there. No to echo what everyone else has already said, but... -Tasty, HOT broth, full of meat and noodles -Fresh Vegetables -CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN -Cheap and family-friendly with great service. The food was terrible!!! I'm Vietnamese and this was just pitiful and disgraceful. The pho was bland and the meat was too chewy. The service here was poor as well. We only had a waiter come to the table three times; take our order, bring food, and water. Not much interaction with the customers. They were more focused on talking to each other than serving their customers. I understand it's a Vietnamese thing, but this restaurant does not deserve a 4.5 star. read more

Oh my favorite Pho place of all time! Once you step foot into the double door you quickly get sweep away by the heart warming smell of Vietnamese cuisine. I always get the Bun Bo Hue because of the fat noodles and the coagulated blood. However, I do like the pho sac viet and the com chien Bo luc lac. I love this restaurant because the flavor and smell if the food us not overwhelming, the service is honestly much much better than all the other restaurants. Overall I haven't had a bad experience with this particular restaurant. read more

The bad reviews I read are ridiculous . I've came to this place many times and the place is ALWAYS extremely clean they have the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen in a restaurant to me that says a lot about the place . The food is always fresh and VERY reasonably priced complaining that a huge amount of fresh food with steak is 9 bucks is pathetic . It's only a few dollars more than a disgusting fast food place I've never been to a restaurant that has fresh herbs ,veggies, steak , shrimp for 8 to 11 bucks . This is one of my favorite places and I'm very picky so if you're going by reviews don't let the few horrible ones change your mind . ( p.s I heard of this place from a top chef that is on the food network channel who has many high rated restaurants if this place is good enough for a person who knows what good food is says a lot ) their number 9 on the pho menu is the one I always order ( I don't venture out with meats ) and every bun bowl I've tried is delicious ! I always get their chili oil and mix it with the noodles. If you enjoy good food give it a chance if not there's a McDonald down the street . read more

I've been here many times. It is your average pho place. Because I know there are better pho tasting places in Atlanta, I would rate this place a 4 star for food. Service and cleanliness bring the rating down to 3 for me. The herbs that were brought out along with the pho was not enough for 2 people. The herbs were not that clean either...had to pick some dirt or whatever it was off of it. There were a few flies in the restaurant the last time I was there. Not sure if it was a language barrier because I spoke in English but the waitress forgot my lemonade so I asked for it again. My husband also asked for bottled water which didn't come and we didn't complain since she probably didn't get what we were saying in the first place. read more

Solid Vietnamese food. Fast and friendly service. Good value for the portions. Great, fresh flavor without a lot of heavy additives or oils. I had the spring roll, pho, and I think the lemon grass chicken. Both dishes were very tasty. No complaints here. I'd do it again if I were in the area and wanted some Vietnamese. read more

If you don't live in the area and are there to go to the Scott Antique Market, like me, this is a great stop. The bun is the best I've had, accompanied by a spicy fish sauce (much spicier than I have ever had before). The restaurant is spiffy, too. A better decor than most pho places (though still not exactly attractive) and no fluorescent lighting! I will be back! read more
