1st of all, this is 1 of my favorite Vietnamese rice dish and I was disappointed. The meat was not flavorable and was very hard. The restaurant was clean and bright. The service needs some improvement. Our waiter and cashier was the same. He was not very happy. No thank you. No smile. No nothing. Would not recommend.

Pho Dai Loi's bun bo hue is unmatched in metro Atlanta and is authentic as it gets. The only place that even comes close is Bun Bo Hue Kitchen in Duluth. It's casual dining with very friendly service, and the food came out fast. Staff won't bother you unless you flag them down. All other dishes are okay but 5 stars for the BBH!

A classic place to get your fix of pho. It's futher down on Buford Highway and very easy to miss. But I have been here to get my fix of pho many times. The spring rolls were solid, tasted pretty fresh and quick to get your order. I opted for meatball pho with bun Bo hue soup. I would say their bbh soup isn't as flavorful or spicy as other places. It tasted more on the fishy side. The service was okay, quick to take your order but they never come back. Also have to pay up front but the lady didn't seem to even acknowledge her customers. She was on the phone the whole time and just puts her hand out for your card. Overall, I only come if I want pho and my regular pho spot is closed or run out of soup.

Came by the day after Thanksgiving for lunch and it wasn't too busy. Very casual restaurant and you pay at the counter after eating. Enjoyed the pho & its broth. Standard and as expected coming from NorCal. The beef stew with bread was OK - lots of tender meat but wished for more carrots. Lots of lemongrass flavor and kinda greasy. Wouldn't get it again but would def go back for the pho!

my favorite pho in the area! the chicken pho is fragrant, tender, and feels like a warm hug in a bowl.

Was craving a home cooked Vietnamese phở and this place truly hit the spot. The phở had a classic broth like other phở restaurants. Although they had a lot of dishes on the menu, they only had one vegetarian dish (a vermicelli), so it was disappointing that my vegetarian friends didn't have many choices. However, after asking, they were able to make the fried rice vegetarian and it was delicious!! The service is great since they were willing to accommodate my vegetarian friends despite it not being on the menu.

One of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in town. Love getting their beef stew, stir fried fillet mignon. Food comes generally fast. Good every time. Try their avocado shake if you have room left afterwards.

My friend and I came here on a Monday and it wasn't busy so we didn't have to wait. We both got the Pho #13 which just has eye round steak. Adding some sriracha made it perfectly spicy. The medium size is a good portion and was filling for me. I also got a mango drink with boba and it was refreshing. Service was alright.

Stopped by on a Saturday evening for dinner. Dined in and had great service, the food came out quickly. I had the pineapple chicken and pho. Also enjoyed the chicken spring rolls with chicken sauce. Very large portions. Total came to ~$40. Food was good comfort food.

One of my favorite places for pho in Atlanta. The pho is consistently good and the service is always fast and friendly. The broth is aromatic and rich in flavor and the noodles to broth ratio is PERFECT, and they do not skimp out on the fresh condiments. Highly recommend.

Quick and efficient. Solid food. I went on a Friday night and it wasn't busy. Had a pho with tendon, brisket, tripe, and flank. The soup had good flavor. You can choose between different sizes in case you're not too hungry. Staff are kurt but not unfriendly. Food came out incredibly quick and servers were around if you need anything. They do shut down early though so make sure you keep an eye on time.

It seems like a lot of the reviews for this place are strictly for the pho or dine-in experience. I can't speak to either, but I had a great delivery lunch from here last month. My mom and I tried the fried shrimp and pork rolls, the fresh shrimp spring rolls, the pork and shrimp vermicelli plate, and the milk coffee which came to us nice and hot still and was packaged securely. All of the items were pretty great. The fried shrimp and pork rolls had a lot of shrimp in them - more than most places I have seen. The spring rolls were nice and fresh and not sticking together. The coffee was excellent - strong, yet creamy and not overly sweet; it was very pleasant. Finally, the pork and shrimp plate was just as good as any other place I have ordered from recently, however, the loss of a star comes from the portion of meat to noodle ratio. All of the other places I have tried recently served a pretty generous portion of meat for the cost of the plate. I felt that this place served less than the other places. It was still a good dish though, and everything was served neatly and was well flavored. Overall, I would try more items from here again, for sure.

DELICIOUS!! I will definitely be back the food and service were both great! Will definitely be back 5/5 food - I got the pho which was yum, my friend got the vermicelli with marinated shrimp/pork which was even better 5/5 service - quick service and kind! 5/5 vibes - laid back comfortable vibes

Can't say the interior is that much better either, though it does remind me of Vietnam and family gatherings. Service is slow, and some things take longer to come out than others. If you care about starting your meal at the same time, I would recommend ordering things to share since it can take 15 minutes between the first dish and last to come out. The food here is good! I don't typically get Vietnamese because I eat enough of it at home, but there's a good variety here where it's worth coming for. What my family, and my cousin in particular, really like from here is the bò lúc lắc or shaking beef. The spring rolls that you make yourself is also quite nice.

Very middle of the road, and I usually lose my mind over pho. VERY tough meat. Very small bowl of pho that was allegedly "medium". I normally get a small at other places and can't finish... the servings were pitiful. Very oily fries that had that old grease flavor. Very small servings all around (except the fries) but high prices/up-charges for things that are certainly built into the (LOWER) prices at other Vietnamese spots. Not completely nasty, but surely not good. Very inattentive service at 10PM even though we were the only party and they closed at 12AM. Server was on his phone the entire time, and hubz had to physically get up and get the bill for a restaurant with a small dining room. The decor was going for upscale but missed that target by miles. Very dingy. Did I say very overpriced already? Very much a money grab that prices itself for the area it's in but doesn't deliver on ambience, service, or food. They are surely taking advantage of not having any real competition in the near vicinity. And don't get me started on the bathrooms... Pros: good broth, good parking, Nobi Cha next door. In the words of Warner Bros, "That's all, folks!" I wouldn't even be mad at the experience if the prices matched what they actually gave. Nah uh, y'all won't get me again.

When it comes to…read moreVietnamese food in metro Atlanta, I think this restaurant is among the better options and my Asian/Vietnamese foodie friends generally agree. Where this place lacks - at least in our experience today - is in service and ambiance (even by casual Vietnamese restaurant standards). Hu Tieu My Tho opened in October 2019 and is located in the popular Hong Kong Supermarket shopping center on Jimmy Carter Blvd, near I-85 exit 99. Locals know this as the hub for the Vietnamese community in Atlanta. On weekends and holidays, it can get crowded. The restaurant name comes from the Vietnamese dish "hu tieu," which is a clear rice noodle dish, and "My Tho," which is the specific southern city in Vietnam where this style of cuisine was perfected. This is not a pho restaurant. Instead, this place specializes in both hu tieu and "mi" (egg noodles) as well as other dishes like Vietnamese steak and eggs. It's fairly unique, which is a big part of the draw and appeal. Here's what three of us had: A1. Goi Cuon (2 for $5.50) x2 - spring rolls with shrimp and pork A3. Cha Gio (2 for $5.25) - fried egg rolls D15. Ca Phe Sua Da ($5.99) - Vietnamese coffee H3. Hu Tieu My Tho Dac Biet ($15.50) - House Special Rice Noodle Soup - char siu, crab, fish ball, pork liver, pork heart, ground pork, quail eggs, bone-on pork shank H6. Hu Tieu Nam Vang ($14.50) - Phnom Penh-style Rice Noodle Soup - char siu, shrimp, pork liver, pork heart, ground pork, quail egg, squid H10. Hu Tieu Bo Kho ($14.99) - Beef Stew Rice Noodle Soup - round and flank beef, carrots M5. Mi Hoanh Thanh ($14.50) - Wonton with Egg Noodle Soup - char siu, wontons Everything was fresh and tasty. When it comes to the hu tieu, the restaurant gives you the option of soft or firm noodle texture. In addition, you can get dishes "dry" (no soup) or with soup. If it's your first time, you should try the traditional way with soup. I really like the variety of hu tieu and mi offered here; for example, my friend likes the Phnom Penh-style noodle soup, which is Cambodian. Overall, I found the food to be solid all around. After we were initially seated and served, the staff never checked on us again. I think this was partly because they were busy. I noticed at least two other tables having the same problem we did -- having to flag down a server. As for ambiance, seating was tight. I actually refrained from ordering an extra dish because of the lack of table space. And, while not uncommon for Vietnamese restaurants, multiple tables weren't immediately cleaned. Also, the men's restroom was dirty. I'd like to return and try one of the steak and egg dishes; for example S1. Chao Xiu Mai ($15.99), S2. Banh Mi Chao Dac Biet ($18.99), or S3. Chao Bo Steak / Bo Xao ($16.75).
