All I can say is rude!!! Bad customer service! The guy that's in there with the spiked hair was so rude that I didn't even order any food here. First time trying pho house cafe, and I'm not impressed. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because the owner/chef and his staff were very friendly, otherwise it's a 1 star. I had the Pho House and my wife had the rare steak and brisket pho to go. When I got home the and pulled out the soups out of the plastic bags I can see all the grease at the top of the containers and the soup under it. That was a sign of things to come. There wasn't much steak in my soup, for the price I paid I expected more rare steak. The broth was okay but could use more flavor. I had high hopes when I walked in and was disappointed and hungry when I left. $50 for 2 bowls of pho. We had greasy broth with a sprinkle of meat and a fist full of noodles. The broth wasn't flavored at all. I feel like they put more thought into the design and setting and the food was an afterthought. The amount of cilantro they put in COVERED the entire bowl. New Pho restaurant in town and didn't disappoint us. Pho was very good, it's a bit pricy but it is worth it. The quality of the meat is different from the other pho restaurant. The owner Jimmy and his sister are very nice and friendly. The interior design of the restaurant looks upscale. We don't need to go uptown New Orleans for a nice Pho restaurant we now have it here in Kenner. We will be back for sure. Hopefully they add more items on the menu like the rice and vermicelli dishes. read more

This pho is really flavorful, a lil greasy but can't complaints. The owner said he cook his bone everyday so expect it unlike most places you go to either left overnight and scoop fats out in the morning or using powder broths . If you like pho, this is your place! The entire restaurant is super clean and beautifully decorated. Even the bathroom was spotless, smelled clean, and very nicely decorated. The spring rolls were a good size and very fresh. They were rolled with pork, shrimp, and vegetables and not just mostly noodles for filler. I ordered the oxtail pho. This was the first time I've tried oxtail and I was feeling a little adventurous and thought, why not. Well, I'm glad I did! The meat was super tender and full of flavor! My only issue was that you had to pick the meat off the bone. It wasn't difficult tho, so the pros definitely outweigh that con and I would order it again. They give you an ample amount of meat and side veggies to add to your pho. The broth was absolutely delicious! Definitely one of the bests in the city. Our usual favorite is Pho NOLA, but Pho House wins for flavor of the broth. You can tell everything is made fresh and from scratch, with the best ingredients possible. No shortcuts here. However, I do have to say I feel like Pho House is a little expensive. It was nearly $19 for one bowl of pho. It was worth it, but definitely won't be coming back as often as I'd like bc of the price. They have a very limited menu, and with two kids that love pho and refuse to split meals, Pho House won't be a family night out for us. Maybe they can offer kid sized portions? One thing I think Pho House can improve is the variety and quality of their bubble teas. I'd like to see more flavors and maybe fresh fruit options. My party of 6 and I dined at Pho House Cafe recently and have mixed feelings. If you are going for ambiance for, say, date night or to impress someone, this is the place as it is well appointed and decorated very elegantly (for being in a strip mall.) As other reviewers have mentioned, the ingredients are fresh. However, we were disappointed by the broth as it was notably bland and seemed lacking the traditional flavors and aromas of cloves, anise, cardamom, etc. We found the broth to be pretty greasy, which I am given to understand that this is customary to traditional pho broth. It wasn't a problem for me but it was for others and may be something to consider if your preference is a greaseless broth. They also don't serve as much noodles and beef as other pho places we have been, which is surprising given their comparatively higher prices. read more

Absolutely worth the price! Everything was made fresh in their open kitchen. We ordered the spring rolls, egg rolls and brisket pho. The spring rolls were thick and stuffed with shrimp and brisket serve with a spicy peanut sauce. I don't like shrimp but these rolls were delicious. The egg rolls were by far the best Cha GIO ever, were crisp and all meat. The nouc cham was just the right amount of spicy. The brisket pho was a large bowl of a savory broth with a hint of ginger and jasmine filled with fresh spring onions, cilantro, jalapenos, sprouts and basil. The brisket and noodles were perfectly cooked. All of these flavors were completely complimented by the hot jasmine tea. read more
