Kitty brought out a sample of the vegan stir fry and I gobbled it right up with the hot sauce she included. It's #5 on the combo menu and I'm definitely getting that the next time I stop by. Kitty is still just as sweet as ever and always makes me feel special when I visit (I was her very first customer when she opened her food truck). What I received reminded me of a lunch entree at other competing restaurants, but double the price! The beef was $3 extra (no big deal as that's pretty standard). There was hardly any vegetables let alone liquid. They have spice levels here ranging from 1 to 5. Once again I chose 5 being the spiciest, and this dish was by far the most mild Thai dish that I have received anywhere! At least the other restaurants give me either chili flakes or chili oil (or both) when I've ordered "Thai Spicy". No such thing here. Also ordered their Crab Cream Cheese Wontons (comes with 8) and they were way too overcooked (almost burnt). To be fair, once I bit in, they did appear to at least have crab along with cream cheese. If you are on the curious side but don't want to spend a fortune, I highly recommend their lunch special: Any Two Entrees Lunch which comes with a medium (20 oz) beverage of your choice, an egg roll or a cheese wonton, and your choice of different Curry's and Stir Fry's. I always mix & match and pick one curry and one stir fry to try out the flavors. Curry and Stir Fry comes with your choice of protein: chicken, pork, or beef (for a small additional fee). So far I've tried the Red Curry, Green Curry, Pineapple Curry, and Panang Curry. In regards to the Stir Fry's, I've tried the Black Pepper (OMG...ask for Thai Spicy if you can handle it...Sooo delicious)! Thai Basil Stir Fry and Cashew Nut Stir Fry are equally as good. The Sweet & Sour Stir Fry definitely has a different sauce taste compared to other establishments. Not necessarily my fave, but there really isn't one dish that you can go wrong with. I've also tried their Beef Salad which was abundant in both fresh vegetables and beef. You also can request your spice level on the dressing...so of course I went with the spiciest that they could make and it was fabulous! It also includes a side of white rice. I'm beyond impressed with this restaurant and wish that I lived closer to it. I'd be there everyday (they are closed on Sunday). Who would've thought that curry and pizza would go together? Pad Thai was really good. Lots of flavor and very fresh ingredients.
