My first visit here I have been anticipating it since I heard they were opening just hadn't had the opportunity to get all the way up to Pinetop. We were greeted as soon as we entered and picked our own seat. The room is large and tables neatly set up. The Waitress gave us menus and then brought us water right away. The Waitress had a great disposition and was very cheerful. We ordered some spring rolls and the House Special beef rib Pho. The waitress informed us right away that the spring rolls wouldn't come with peanut sauce. They had been out for a while. We were a little taken back since that's the main reason we ordered spring rolls , no matter what restaurant was the delicious peanut sauce that accompanies the rolls are part of the experience. We went ahead and ordered them anyway, because this was our first visit and had made the trip. We wanted to make sure we had the full experience . The spring rolls arrived and they were on a scale of one to five about a three. There just wasn't much substance to them and maybe it's just because we didn't have any of the peanut sauce to help flavor it. I did remember reading a review before I visited here that both the soups and the spring rolls were very lacking in greens. Meaning they just wasn't enough basil jalapeño, sprouts etc. The House Special Pho came next, it was hot and steaming and it was a giant bowl. There were no knife to help eat the ribs that come in the bowl of Pho but they do have forks on the table so we were able to remove the meat off and enjoy them. The soup broth had great flavor. There were spring onions and bits of red onion on top which help with the aromatics of the broth. There was plenty of rice noodles and loads of beef, I can't say it's the best bowl of pho that I've ever had but it was a good portion size and it was enough for us to split. I will give them another try to get something different .... Had my eye on the Pho Ga chicken soup. I do want to thank the waitress, she was attentive and had a great smile. read more

This place was super good!!! I am a big fan of pho, and have a couple favorite places in the valley (from phoenix) and this place is definitely now in my top 3! The food was delicious, the noodles were perfect and generous, and the broth was fantastic. I ordered the pho tai. My server was also very friendly and made sure to check in often. We are traveling through from Tucson Arizona. And I love pho soup. So we always stop at Vietnamese restaurants in search of the perfect bowl of soup. I have probably been to every restaurant in Tucson and have not yet found the perfect bowl except for one and they closed down. So here I am in Pine Top and I again found the perfect bowl of Pho. The broth is perfect and the tofu was also perfectly fried without a yucky aftertaste. So I just had to post a five star rev for these nice people. Good job Pho Kitchen! read more

Love the new sizes. Regular size was enough for a big Pho eater like me. Clean, nice eclectically based music thats not to loud. Good service. Nice to eat for 2 for under $30. Filled me up but we skipped drinks too. Past reviews said high prices so we came to share and learned the kids size is smaller, regular is the old kids size (and it filled me) so the large is bigger yet. They haven't updated the website to the new prices/sizes. All I'm saying is it's nice, clean and if you like pho, Don't let past reviews disenchant you. read more

My boyfriend and I have been here a few times and absolutely loved it! We came on a late night just for boba the first time and were not disappointed. They have tons of flavors and different types of boba available and even offer smoothies! When we came back again we ordered food (and boba of course) and were super impressed with everything we tried. The staff is really personable and the owner is super friendly and welcoming. Our favorite "employee" was definitely the owner's six year old son, though. You won't meet a more entertaining, outgoing kid in town! We'll definitely be going back and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for something outside of the ordinary burgers and fries kind of menu! read more

I wish they would professional make their springs rolls better because it looks like mexican burritos. I wish they would add more peanut sauce with it. How in the hell you can dip a spring rolls in a tiny container like plate? Maximum 3 drippings or so.. Sodas come from a can and charge $2.50, no refills. Pho is kind of pricy upon sizes, they don't really put a lot of noodles in it. Worth the prices? Depends on you. Overall, Pho is good but if you're very hungry. I'm visiting Pinetop for the first time and I noticed this Pho restaurant on my morning walk. I am a huge fan of pho and I usually try to find a place wherever I go. I honestly did not expect them to have one here and was pleasantly surprised. I have to say this is some of the best pho I've had in a while. The broth was very flavorful, noodles were perfect and the veggies were fresh and cooked just right. I also ordered a watermelon juice which the chef came out and made for me personally. No knives available which was really unfortunate when my food arrived with giant pieces of broccoli and other vegetables that had barely been cooked. Ate here for the first time today. We found it expensive for what you get. I had the pho meatball, hardly any flavor in the broth and gummy texture in the meatballs because they are from frozen. Would have been better if they made the meatballs from scratch, which would have made the price more tolerable. They do put a large portion of the noodles but doesn't make up for lack of flavor. My husband had the pho beef, again , very little flavor. I don't know the name of the dish my nephew had. It had beef, shrimp and an egg roll, that dish was $22.99. He said it was bland as well. Expensive and bland seem to be the recurring themes here. The soda was $3.50 in a can, so not sure that would be free refills. It was our server's first day, Jewel was very sweet and professional and checked on us often. I don't mind paying more money for good food and service. Been to Vietnam, used to eat in Vietnam town in Dallas, love the food and eager to try this place. Almost walked out: it was completely empty at 6 PM on Wednesday night and the top pho is $26, a very high price for a dish that is typically no more than $15. Glad I stayed. The pho gets 5 stars and is as good or better than any I had anywhere. The $26 bowl includes a huge beef rib and will easily feed three people. You will take most of it home and it is delicious re-heated. I would give the place five stars, except the Vietnamese woman who was on duty was pretty rude. Also, they need to serve about four times as much greens with the pho. They just serve a bit. Can't wait to return and try the bun. read more
