I also went with a fairly large group (8 ppl) and the waiter gave me the wrong receipt. I told her that I thought she had the wrong receipt and she reassured me that it was the same price so I paid it. After my group finished paying she came back saying that she charged me for the wrong order... I was craving Vietnamese food and decided to give this restaurant a try. I ordered a rice dish with meat and shrimp. They gave me 1 shrimp and a little bit of meat. It was quite disappointing. Great little spot in London for a quick meal! You get an appetite the second you walk in as a delicious smell of fried rice wafts from the kitchen. Went in on a Tuesday evening and it was fairly busy but no wait time. The waitress was quick to collect our order (you write it down on a paper yourself) and bring over our dishes. Took less than 5 minutes to get the appetizer and about 15 to get our main course. We ordered fresh vegetable rolls for the appetizer which came with a scrumptious peanut sauce. The rolls were filled with lettuce, mint, vermicelli noodles, tofu and carrots (small size approx 5$) Then for the main meal I ordered the vegetable fried noodle dish which was similar to a thick chow mein! It came with an assortment of vegetables! It came in one size but it would be more than enough to share between two people! Not sure if Pho Lee changed management or something. Ordered our usuals for takeout which was pho and bun bo hue. Picked up some spring rolls too. Pho and bun bo hue broths were almost devoid of flavour. The pho came with very, very little meat and had a single beef ball inside the broth container. The bun bo hue had no spicyness and lacked any lemon grass or any flavour at all to be honest. Their spring rolls definitely weren't vegetarian before, but seemingly are now. I used to absolutely love pho lee, but their food now is definitely of lower quality and care. read more

This is my favourite restaurant in london, by a long shot. I come here at least once a week, usually order takeout but their din-in experience is nothing short of excellent. The staff are so friendly and happy to have you. I love this place so much I tell all my friends and family to try it at least once. And of course the food is outstanding! I'm vegetarian and the selection I have to choose from is amazing. I usually order for my main the vege Singapore Noodle, vege pineapple Curry or green curry. Ordered from skip. Charged $1 per sauce that normally would be free in person dinning. I paid an extra $3 for small sauces and called to ask for an additional hot sauce(it does not give the option to order more than one of each sauce) when I called this restaurant I was treated very poorly on the phone. I was told to call skip back and be charged another dollar for an extra hot sauce (that would be free to use in the restaurant), i was hung up on told there was nothing they could do to add an extra hot sauce to my order on their end . Pho Lee was recommended to me by a friend who goes to western university. I'm happy she told me about this place as it was delicious. With a mixture of both Vietnamese and Thai food (our favourites) my girlfriend and I decided to give it a try. I ordered the the Beef Pho with rare beef, tendon and beef meatballs. My girlfriend ordered the vegetable stir fry pad sew (thin, wide noodles) and we both shared an order of the vegetarian cold rolls to start. Everything was delicious, the portions were great and the meal also came with complementary tea. This was a great little touch as it was an enjoyable addition to the overall experience. The pho broth was deep and rich. The bone broth was incredibly clean, cologne rich, and nutrient packed. You can tell it was properly stewed for hours on end, achieving that clean yet bold beef flavour. The Noodles were tender and as always, the pho is served with a variety of sides which allow you to customize your broth to your liking. My girlfriend also loved her meal, it was smokey and had great flavour. The vegetables were cooked perfectly and the sauce within the dish was delicious. The cold rolls are always a great starter. Served along side a peanut dipping sauce, these tightly rolled tender rolls did not disappoint. Overall the food was great, portions were on point and menu is reasonably priced. HOWEVER, we were not served any water throughout the whole meal. Unfortunately, once our food came, we basically did not see our waiter until we finished our meal and asked for the bill. Service definitely could have been more attentive but all and all, the pros outweighed the cons. Our meal came out to about $32.00 for two people which is incredibly reasonable. Definitely a great little spot, fast service and delicious food! What a great place to come to. Clean ambience, great service and good food. What more could you want? Stopped to curb some ramen craving and stayed for the rest. Had some Tom Yum soup and green /red curry with rice. The tom yum was delicious. Spicy yes. But that was expected and needed! Loved the okra. Would've appreciated a little more chicken though :( the red and green curries were quite nice. No complaints as per. Good amount of food for the price. I quite enjoyed my meal here! It's a very spacious environment, and the staff were quite friendly. However, be forewarned, as the service is quite slow. It took a while for the food to come out (for other tables), and the place was only half full! We came at 1:00p.m., and were seated promptly. I ordered a large P8 (beef flank, beef tripe, and beef tendon) for $9.25, and my Dad got the emerald curry (we were told it's the spiciest) for $8.00. Compared to the other pho places in Mississauga, the large here isn't too large. However, it was more than enough for a person my size. The broth was flavourful, and the pho was al dente and fairly thin. My main complaint was that there was only one piece of tendon, and that the beef flank was mostly fat. My Dad's curry was very sweet - at first bite. The spiciness crept in after a while, but it was still very mild and the dish was mostly sweet. A word of warning - if you don't like bamboo shoots, don't order this dish, as there was an abundant amount of bamboo shoots! read more

Pho Lee is amazing - pho-real. Pardon my pun, but I'm serious when I say this is a great restaurant. I treated myself to a late lunch Sunday after spending hours working, and stopped by Pho Lee on my way home. The restaurant is smaller than I thought it would be, but it's cozy and quaint and clean. You seat yourself, so I grabbed a booth and after scanning the menu, I wrote down an order for small pho. The food took longer than usual to arrive but they were quite busy. Once it arrived though, my stomach just lit up - it is absolute delicious! Definitely one of the best pho I've tasted. As a bonus: the prices are amazing and portion sizes are great! This place I went into with little expectations as my go too Vietnam Restaurant was closed. That said they have a great menu, amazing staff, service was fast and courteous. Food is incredible. The portions are a good size,I have yet too finish a medium bowl of Pho from here. The spring rolls are great as is the beef stir fry. I haven't explored much else on their menu but I have eaten here at least 10 times this year since March. It's always been well presented and very consistent. read more

I went in here for the first time ever a few months ago. I was seated immediately and brought some tea. My soup was promptly brought out after only about 5 minutes and was absolutely amazing. The lady that runs this place is always excited to see me and is always smiling. I understand that there are a few people that have service complaints but I haven't had one issue and I have been here well over thirty times and have nothing to complain about from day one. Comparing this place to Ben thanh, the prices are better but the chicken that I ordered was quite tough in some areas and a little bit overdone. The people are wonderful though, absolutely wonderful service and I hope to see them more often. 3.5 Stars First time at this restaurant today. Great service for my group of 4. We ordered a large pho (p8), 2 spring roll pork vermicelli, a XL pho (p10) and chicken wings. The vermicelli came first and was quite good. The spring rolls were very crunchy and the pork slices tasted really good. I wish they gave more fish sauce, as the original given amount was not enough for the amount of noodles given. The pho soup base was quite oily, but other than that was quite average. Both the Large and XL size was smaller than anticipated, and we had to order the chicken wings to be satisfied. The chicken wings were very crispy, a little too crispy/crunchy and was pretty dry. I personally prefer Thuan Kieu more, but this place is definitely closer to western campus. This place is definitely authentic Viet, and had the classic Viet restaurant vibe read more

Okay. Third time coming to this place and third time i was disappointed. They constantly dont have the things they advertised on their menu (fries, a bean dessert, and TAPIOCA???? i mean come on. You advertise bubble tea and other classic drinks that are served with tapioca but for the third time dont have it? Not only this, but some of their items taste very freezer burnt (cheese wontons) and like they came from walmart. Last time i went with my wife i ordered a Vietnamese coffee which i adore from anywhere else but here. I recieved it at the end of my meal (its served as its dripping down from a metal filter on top of condensed sweetened milk) but when i recieved it it hadnt barely dripped down to an adequate amount. Maybe an inch. We had already spent an hour waiting on that last drink but it wasnt ready at the end of the hour and it was just plain stupid. The restaurant maybe had 4 other patrons during this time and skip only came 3 times so their lack of time organization is appalling. After ordering my husband was checking scores on her s phone and the server immediately came by to ask if we wanted the wifi password! We had never seen that at any restaurant ever! We each ordered a soup, I had fresh rolls and he had pad Thai. Everything was fantastic and such huge portions! Couldn't finish it all and it only came to $38! We often get take out but the times we do eat in we are warmly greeted by the staff and also the food always come out quick and with reasonable portion sizes. This place is the best. There aren't many Pho places in London so I was surprised to stumble upon this beautiful hidden gem, Pho Lee. The service is extremely nice, the servers even bring you tea and sit you down at an open table when you're there to pick up an order to go! Never had a complaint about any of them, they're all very nice and approachable. The food was amazing, I've tried the Pho special and the Pad Thai. I highly recommend them. Just had a great lunch! I had the pho with rare beef, tendon, tripe, and meat balls plus a durian shake. Both were great. The small pho was perfect for lunch, but I would order a large if I were having dinner. The other member of my party ordered yellow Thai chicken and a small wonton soup. We weren't expecting them to be such large servings. Both were very good. Good food, very good prices, quick and friendly service and cute decor. The pad Thai, fresh rolls and spring rolls were tasty however the green curry chicken and pineapple chicken were disappointing. The sauce was thickened with what appeared to be cornstarch, was not spicy like the menu indicated and didn't have any coconut milk. Every menu item that had a chili pepper indicating a spicy dish that we ordered was not spicy at all. I was expecting some chili burn and got nothing. If you stick to the pad Thai and spring rolls you will be OK but steer clear of the rest of the menu. read more
