While we're in Paris, this is the first VN restaurant we tried after a long day walking around Champs de Elysees, we took the Uber and it did take about 1/2 hour to District 13. This is where most of VN restaurants are, they're walking distance from each other. This restaurant servers not all speak VN, we're surprised, but the food is quite Vietnamese. The servers were quite attentive and offered fast services. The place is a little small from the front room, but there's another room on the side. We got to sit at the front room. From here we can see the cook makes Pho, which is a great experience. BTW, the cook does speak Vietnamese. The prices are quite inexpensive compared to CA restaurants, the food is excellent, as good or better than CA restaurants. This is amazing, but I think because it's in the VN district, they do cook for VN taste but I see many French people eating here also, these must be very familiar with VN food, inexpensive and tasty. We normally don't order egg rolls in restaurants, but we did ordered here to try and they're quite crispy and tasty. They used rice papers instead of wonton skins like my mom used to make. Using rice paper is harder to make crispy egg rolls than wonton skins. It was cold and we couldn't wait to have some hot pho, I ordered the special bowl since it didn't have many other choices, especially the waiter didn't speak english or Vietnamese. My daughter order rare beef and tripes. My wife order bun bo hue. All the broths are excellent, as delicious and authentic as we would cook at home. They say district 13 actually where all the good VN cook come to show off their talents, but I'm not sure who's the cook although the Pho cook speaks some VN. The Sugar Cane juice was so sweet and tasted like home. My daughter ice coffee was Amazing. I love the bill because they're quite inexpensive and there's no TIP required in French restaurants. We would come back here again, but we had to try other restaurants to see how they stand against the CA state's restaurants. read more

A relative who's not a foodie recommended this place. We made the mistake of listening to her. Service is not rude, but made mistakes. Portions are not generous. More importantly, the phở is not terrible, but mediocre: Not very flavourful broth, not many different cuts of beef; the rare beef (thịt tái) and the noodles stick together - a sign it was microwaved. Don't bother with the house rosé wine, it was disgusting! There are tons of better Phở options in the 13è arrondissement: Đầu bò, 13, Bờm, 14, Ngọc Xuyến, etc. Incidentally, don't bother with the house rosé, it's downright disgusting! This was my first dinner in Paris after being jet lagged and barely eating today. I just got the V2, rice vermicelli with pork. Serving size is great for how much you pay; I feel like in the US these cost about the same and you get less. They give a ton of meat and three egg rolls. Something was missing about the egg rolls, but the bowl itself was delightful. I also wish they added more pickled veggies. My server was very sweet and threw in a free sweet tea which was nice. read more

You know you're in the Chinatown of Paris when you see Asian people without their touristy cameras. I was brought here by relatives who live closeby. The beef pho was great: generous amounts of meat, perfect chewiness to the noodles, and a flavourful broth (albeit slightly too salty). We also got this sweet dark-coloured drink that comes with different types of fungi / thin mushrooms - very refreshing in the summer. Amusing fact: it's run by Chinese people. Yep. We ordered in Chinese. But I saw plenty of Vietnamese families dining there too. Now I can finally say that I've eaten Pho in Ph-rance. :P read more

Good pho bo. We also ordered the Bun Cha Ha Noi and they nailed the BBQ meats. For appetizers, a lotus root salad was shared and that was very good also. The food here is comparable to a lot of VN restaurants in California, so that's saying a lot. Good late night eats with very authentic food. read more

Really wanted to try Pho from Paris cuz I figured they had a good viet community there. It was early Saturday 11:30am and most of the other restaurants in chinatown paris were empty!! Basically picked this place cuz I saw a bunch of older locals eating there. Perfect pho fix after 10 days in Europe without Asian food! Although this place has no AC for such hot summer days, their pho made up for it. As a bonus you get a lot of pho for your buck vs other places in Paris. My husband and I came twice and both times had their pho dac biet. Very flavorful broth and their noodles were very similar to what I've eaten in Vietnam. B E S T P H O E V E R ! Was actually headed to another joint across the road but that was shut and this was the recommended Plan B, and it was surprisingly excellent! I've tried many pho over the years around the world but this has very quickly shot to #1. We ordered the rare beef pho and mixed pho with meatballs, beef and tendons. The broth is delicious, full of depth and flavour, clean, not oily. The rice noodles were cooked perfectly, not too hard and not mushy. Served with a plate of chillis, mint, thai basil and sprouts. A selection of condiments are also available on table. At about 9.80€ for a massive bowl, it was not only tasty but cheap. We also had some pork spring rolls which were amazing, just the right amount of crispiness on the outside and flavoursome filling inside that wasn't dry or oily. I can't believe it's been 5 years since I discovered this gem! First off I am Vietnamese and I know good pho! We were in Paris vacationing and all I wanted to eat was pho. We wandered the streets of Paris looking for a good one. Stumbled upon "Mai Do" and settled for it bc we were tired of searching. After a disastrous & expensive meal, I was determined to find local Vietnamese to ask for suggestions of authentic pho. On our way back to our hotel, I approached a group of Vietnamese walking the streets and they recommended Pho Mui & Le Bamboo. We searched out their recommendations the next day and was not disappointed with Pho Mui!! This place had the best pho I've ever had, and that includes pho in Ha Noi Viet Nam, the birth place of pho!! I've since recommended many friends visiting Paris and all agree that it's one of the best they've had! As a matter of fact, I'm sending my parents and brother here next week when they visit. I will def come here again next time I'm in Paris!!!! read more
