This place is Laredo's best Pho. I've noticed a lot of reviews complain about the serving size, but I felt the servings are decent for the price you are paying. I do feel border town plates tend to be on the bigger side and people get used to that. The spring rolls were pretty good, basic standard spring rolls of really good size. The peanut size was a little watery, but tasted fine. The Jasmin tea was pretty standard. The pho was solid. Good clean broth with good noodle texture and a decent amount of protein. The noodle dish was super good, with a great garlic taste. The fried rice was decent as well. Don't expect anything super fancy or out of this world. Service is fast and friendly. Giving this place a 4, simply because it's the best in Laredo.

Your Togo pho condiments amount. Seriously???

Wow, when you order Togo I guess this is the size of Pho condiments you get. Seriously? It is the cheapest cost of your entire product. Will not order from you again.

Definitely the best (and cheapest) asian restaurant in Laredo, and a welcome break from all of the delicious tacos. They serve crawfish, which is spicy and delicious. Also, their sugar cane is really refreshing, and I think they're the only restaurant in Laredo to serve these two things. BUT I would really recommend their garlic shrimp fried rice. Shrimp is juicy and buttery. Their eggs rolls are filled with meat, which is different from other restaurants that just fill theirs with veggies. Really yummy.

We were there this evening. Nice place, well lighted, modern and with a little swing. The waiter approached us very promptly, and gave our menus. My daughter Isabella and me already knew more and less what we wanted, Pork filled dumplings and fresh spring rolls with pecan sauce. The dumplings were nice, well fried and the spring rolls were devoured by my daughters and wife, I tried the pecan sauce and was superb. Then the rest of the food arrived. A bahn mi with pork for my wife. Good flavor, I will toast the bread a bit to give it a crunchier bite. Two vermicellis, one with Shrimp the other with lemongrass chicken, and a side of fish sauce. Large shrimps well grilled, the chicken was cooked perfectly with a strong minty flavor of the herbs. my House Special Rice had happily merge all the flavors during the stir-fry process. Nice balance of colors and some, at least to me, unidentified flavor of chinese sausage or a sort of. A bit more of crawfish will have added a nice pinkiness to the plate, just a suggestion... As a goodbye celebration I had the wonton soup and my girls a couple of smoothies. The soup has, probably, in Laredo the best broth I had so far, the wontons maybe need a one or more minutes to let the dough cook completely.. The smoothies need a little more work. Overall, great place, welcome to Laredo. See you in two weeks !

Order Nothing! Move on and get yourself a Beef Ramen noodles instead. Tea was tasteless and beef noodles had very little to no meat at all. A complete rip off.

The menu online looks spectacular and had a lot of interesting dishes. I was super excited. I saw that they were open late and I was also very happy about this because my meal was after work. I arrived at 9:30 walked in the side entrance and saw a post hunched over and squatted down, looking at her iPhone. I also saw another employee leaning on the host stand talking to her. He didn't greet me neither did she until I walked to the front of the house stand. She got up from her crouch position and said can I help you? I was surprised to see what she was wearing, an oversized hoodie with some type of logo on it, which was not an appropriate thing to wear, and it did not match the other employee that were more crisp. I said dining for one and grabbed a menu and slid it across the host stand out of pure laziness. She slumped her way over with the menu hanging on her left side and sat me at a table. Wow what a lousy first impression for a restaurant that I was so excited to visit. A server came over gave me a menu and brought me water. Disappointed to see that the menu was completely different from the menu that I saw online. No unique dishes and the variety was not great. However, I was there and felt I'd give it a chance. A server that was at the bar entering tickets or something, kept looking over at my table, but no one ever acknowledged me after I was seated. I waited for about 10 minutes until someone realized I need assistance. The server finally came over. He was polite to check my order served my meal left me to be on my own to check on me one time, but it certainly wasn't a two minute check when he should to see if my meal was to my satisfaction. My plates were not cleared and I had to ask for the check.. the food was OK. I had the salmon. Nothing spectacular. risotto was uneventful. Got my check and left. No goodbye, no thank you for coming in no stand out service. As a restaurant professional in California, I can't figure out if it's just a Texas thing or they rate everything high or this restaurant truly is deserving of its accolades..

Naturally, I was a little hesitant to go to an upscale Argentinean Steakhouse in Laredo TX with "OK" reviews. Still, my girlfriend and I were in the mood for a good steak, so we said "Ehh, what the heck." The ambience was very elegant but not so upscale so as to make you feel like you are out of place. We were immediately greeted and sat down. I liked the detail where you were able to see the kitchen from the dining area through a large window. Very cool. I had the old fashioned, which was true to its original form, and very good. Starting with the bread. Perfect crunch on the outside with a warm soft inside. We then had an order of the beef empanadas. My goodness, those little things were amazing! For our main course, we shared the bone in ribeye and the octopus. It's hard to find an octopus that doesn't have an overwhelming "rubbery" texture. It was so good. Perfectly seasoned. The way it was finished on the grill put it over the top. The steak was seasoned with all a good piece of meat needs: Salt and pepper. I loved that. The meat was cooked so perfectly, that you could pull it apart with your fingers. It was so juicy and flavorful! Delicious! I would put this steak up against almost any steakhouse in Houston. When I sent my compliments to the chef, he came out and personally thanked us for coming out. Once we got the bill, we were surprised by how little we paid for drinks, appetizers, and two main course meals. I would highly recommend you try this place and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

We did have a…read morereservation, which was good cause when we got there, there was a large party for a Monday and the place is really tiny. The inside is whatever there's nothing special about it looks like any other place. Our waiter was so nice. He went above and beyond for us. We started with the escargot and I have to say it was OK. It was a little bland. It definitely was missing more flavor to it and it was weird that it didn't come with bread or anything. We also got the tuetano with beef tartar on top of it. It was a huge disappointment. The bone had not been cooked completely and was very fiber and the beef tartar just tasted really off pudding just like raw meat instead of it bean seasoned and marinated the way it should be. We had to send it back for it to get cooked for the bone and when they brought it back, it was still the same thing so they ended up removing it from our check. After this, I did get a cup of the asparagus soup and I have to say that was really nice. Then I got the American ribeye since they were out of the Argentina ribeye which is a disappointment. I had asked for a medium. It came cooked more than medium and it was weird how light colored it was and it just tasted like a typical steak nothing really special to it. The baked potato was whatever. Now the portobello mushrooms and wine sauce that was really delicious. I don't think I would come back here just cause there was nothing really special about it. Also, I hate to say this, but I did eat a little bit of that beef tartar to try it and I'm assuming that's what upset my stomach cause the next day, I was not well.

The prices here are reasonable compared to Houston or Dallas, for example, but most everything is a la carte, so you can spend a lot quickly if not careful. My eyes were set on the seabass ceviche, so I know I had to have that. I also wanted a cocktail, but I remembered I had a long drive ahead of me, so I just opted for more food instead. I ordered the corn flake fried chicken sandwich. Ceviche - a nicely sized portion that comes with 2 crispy tortillas. Inside the ceviche are finely diced carrots, red onions and cucumbers, cilantro, sliced avocado, and numerous pieces of diced fish and lime juice at the bottom. 5/5 Chicken sandwich - served on a plate with 2 sliced yellow cherry tomatoes sitting face down. This has a large breast, with pickles and cole slaw. 3/5 This is my kinda place, and it seems fairly unusual to find a restaurant like this in Laredo of all places. I would definitely come back on my next visit to Laredo.
