Came here late tbh but that didn't stop the restaurant from being super kind & going above & beyond. My server mike had a great sense of humor and even though we were the last ones in there the rest of the staff was also kind and stated we could stay as long as we wanted, of course i didn't stay long after closing time, they still made me feel welcomed and the pho was amazing! We went here last night for the first time after passing it several times. We were not disappointed. The pho was amazing.

Everybody talks about this place. Especially the people in the The Villages. How do I know ? Nextdoor.com There are discussions about restaurants all the time.... many of which normally say... that restaurant or this restaurant was terrible or okay or they got food poisoning that day... but this one ? This one passes the mustard.... but... with a little pause... their beef pho... is okay... but... there is hardly any beef in it. So, next time I order, which I don't know when, but next time, it will be with a double order of beef in it. I was fishing around in there for minutes trying to find my protein.. So... if I were you.. I'd probably resort to having this restaurant as a Door Dash situation.... there really isn't any ambiance at all.. its a functional kitchen and a functional sitting area ... but that's it I will keep them in mind for the future as we don't have that many choices for restaurants in this area read more

I started with Arthur's recommendation of the A3 fresh spring rolls with charbroil beef. This is served along with an amazing fish sauce. For my entrée, I did the number 16 charbroiled pork with vermicelli noodle bowl. This is served with fresh lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, radish, pickle, bean, sprout, onion, and a generous portion of fish sauce on the side. My wife and I visited for lunch at 1400, plenty of parking in the lot outside. Inside the restaurant there are comfortable booths for customers, three other booths were occupied this afternoon during our visit. Air conditioning is effective, noise level was low in the seating area we chose. My wife, ever the adventurer, chose yet a different selection this time, the "# 19 Saigon Special with beef". This was a generous portion of grilled beef strips, grilled shrimp, an individual egg roll, mixed greens salad, cucumber slice, a sunny-side-up fried egg, and steamed rice, with nuoc-cham on the side. She thought this was the most pleasing of all the meals she has eaten here. I also give it an "up vote". I decided to stick with my favorite, with a variation that includes an egg roll on top: The "# 18 Vermicelli noodles with egg roll and grilled pork". Today this item was prepared in a superior fashion: There was more emphasis on the greens and herbs, bean sprouts, cucumbers and carrots, with a slightly reduced quantity of vermicelli noodles. I like this balance of ingredients better. The nuoc-cham was more on target today, as well, but I still asked for a plate of lime wedges which our server, Calvin, brought without delay. (Wonton & rolls were 1 persons meal choice, but brought during appetizer round, not with other 2 entrees) entrees of special combo w/vermicelli and soft chow mein w/tofu. All food was good, hot and plentiful. Two of us shared parts of vermicelli dish, ie, egg rolls, shrimp, pork. Delicious ! Been coming here for years and the best pho restaurant by far in Florida . I have always been particular about my pho and any Vietnamese food. All of the food is good, the pho broth is flavorful. A guy in the kitchen Staff makes their chili oil and it is the best I've ever had. Definitely worth a visit. I have a friend who's very picky and doesn't like a lot of things and she enjoyed it. Called a to go order in and walked out with the most translucent, clear watered down broth I've ever seen in all of my pho journeys. I live in a big city. The only Pho near The Villages, FL, is Pho Sai Gon. Unfortunately, this is not the authentic tasting Pho from Vietnamese Restaurants I've been to 100's of times. The Basil, Parsley, etc was mostly wilted (past usability) and the broth was oddly sweet? It should be savory. Anyway, to each his own. IF you are familiar w/ Pho, you might not like this version. IF you want to try it out, it's about 75% like ideal Pho. (For $18 I expected more veggies/noodles.. Skimpy for sure.) read more

I'm new to the area, but my old town had amazing Pho restaurants and many to choose from, so I'm kind of fussy about my Pho. I've tried this twice so far. First time I had the brisket with rare beef (I'm not use to having the rare beef on top - I prefer brisket and flank). Since it was takeout, once we got home, the soup wasn't as hot, so the broth didn't cook the rare meat. I had to nuke it to make sure the meat was cooked. The second time, I tried the chicken Pho with shrimp, pork, veggies. I much preferred that one to the beef one. Their broth is good and it comes with all the usual accompaniments: Jalepenos, sprouts, basil, lime, Hosin and Sriracha. They only give you one packet of each sauce, but I'm sure you could ask for more. I'm use to getting a little container with the sauce in it. The staff was very nice. The second time I ordered take out - our order took over an hour. They are usually busy and must be understaffed. That was on a weekend. My week day order was much faster, maybe 20-25 minutes. This is the first Pho I've tried in the area (not many to choose unless I go to Ocala or Orlando), so I think for local, I'd probably give it a solid 4 stars, but compared to my usual Pho, it's a 3. I'll keep looking for others to try, so I can compare, but this is the closest to my house and it hits the spot if I'm craving Pho, so I'll probably try it again. read more

Owners take note!!! Service was the worst we have ever had!! Waited for 1hr+ for our food. Female (mgr?) server was extremely rude and condescending while she talked over me while trying to explain that house specialties take a backseat to the soup (pho) in the kitchen! She loudly explained some three step process in the kitchen while not allowing me to speak. . Many people who came in after our party (4) , were served, eaten, and had already left! It appeared to be very clean and was nicely decorated with a mural of Vietnamese village life on one of the walls. The food was really good, fresh with fresh ingredients (vegetables )cooked to order and substitutions are allowed as well as personal preferences accommodations are allowed. For instance, I wanted the side dish of steamed vegetables but I wanted them softer than al-dented, so I asked for "double steamed veggies. They did that, no problem. I had item #21 on the menu.
