Came with a friend to try out this pho place inside this really busy food court . This has to be the best value pho in Toronto! There is no tips or taxes and they take cash only. We both ordered the large house special for $13 each and it came with really good portions and a decent amount of meat. The broth itself was quite flavorful and it didn't taste like it had msg. It also came with hot tea. My only real complaint is that the broth was quite oily. Overall: delicious Viet spot that is probably the best value in Toronto. I highly recommend it if you do not mind the food court setting. Will definitely come back to try other stuff on their menu.

I had been wanting to check out Pho Street for a while now and finally got a chance to. This is inside a busy food court. We ordered a large house special. A large cost me $13 for a good portion size with a decent amount of meat. I shared this with my daughter and I wasn't completely full. But still it's good value. The pho was yummy too. I will be back to try other dishes on the menu.

This small food court on Silver Star Blvd was a hidden gem for us . We got two large pho specials (P1- tripe , beef slice and beef balls). Initially wanted 1 small and 1 large but for takeout, they only offer large sizes . Taste and portion size pretty good ! $10 for small and $12 for large , tax in ! Herbs now include lime, bean sprout and basils. Good for everyday pho and I'm definitely returning ! Parking was nightmare though during prime dinner time , had to park closer to the No frills to get a spot !

Found this decent Vietnamese restaurant located inside a food court. I ordered B2 Grilled Chicken Spring roll with vermicelli. The portion is pretty generous for the price $12 which is the cheapest I've seen so far. Can't find this price elsewhere. Price and portion is comparable to what you get at full service restaurants.

Great value for a food court restaurant. The pho portions are generous and the flavours are comparable to many full service restaurants. The iced coffee is also super strong and good. The only downside is the disposal of the food waste after the fact. You have to separate the liquids from the solids and everything gets dumped into a giant blue strainer basket which is pretty disgusting but I guess that's more the food court itself than the specific restaurant.

New take out place for Vietnamese food at this food court. There's plenty of tables and chairs, and a public washroom accessible from the food court. The food quality is decent, but the biggest bonus is the price and portion size! For the pho noodle soup, they don't give you lime or bean sprouts - Thai basil leaves are already added in. Parking can get full during typical lunch or dinner hours.

New addition to a very popular and busy food court. There are plenty of tables and seats for dining in but there's a lack of air conditioning and if you do not like bugs, I would suggest takeout. There were many flies flying around and some creepy crawlies. Ordered two noodles and the price came out to exactly the menu price, no additional tax added. There's a bunch of sauces and pickled garlic for self serve at the counter. You can ask for a free cup of tea with your meal. For food court pho, this place is comparable to the noodles you get at a Vietnamese restaurant. The portion size is good, you get a lot of noodles and protein. The soup was piping hot which is always appreciated in this family. They add a few bean sprouts to the pho and top off with Thai basil. The tomato brisket stew rice noodle came with a decent amount of meat. Get both fatty and meaty pieces, the meaty pieces were a bit tough but overall not terrible. The tomato soup wasn't as strong flavoured as I'd hope but for this price, I would order it again. Overall, will me back to try the vermicelli and rice dishes.

A small tasty Pho noodle soup for $10.00 in 2024?! You bet! Located inside the Silverstar food court, this takeout Vietnamese hawker spot offers a delicious bowl of pho at an old school price. It's hard, if not impossible, these days to get a $10.00 bowl of pho that is comparable to restaurant size and quality. I ordered their house special (Rare beef, tripe, beef balls, and brisket). When I received my order, I noticed they placed the basil on top of the soup instead of giving it to you on the side, as most places usually do. And they didn't provide bean sprouts or the wedge of lime, which you traditionally get as well. The broth was flavourful on its own, but I always like to add a sqiurt hoisin and Sriracha sauce to kick it up. I thought the quality of the meat was as good as some pho restaurants i've been to. You get a fair amount of meat, not as generous as restaurants, but I expected that at this price. I have absolutely no complaints with this pho. In fact, i especially liked the beef ball. It was a bit garlicky and better than most beef balls I've tasted. Oh, I almost forgot, the pho also comes with a complimentary cup of tea. This new find for me will be added to my rotation of quick bites when i'm in the area. Great value for quality & quantity.

I had my usual vermicelli bowl with grilled chicken, veggies and crispy spring roll. They have large and regular size and I got regular which was still filling. Also had their famous fried chicken wings which are fantastic! Highly recommend! The owner said it's a secret recipe they actually got from Buffalo NY. Ambience is always warm and I forgot this Spadina location has an extension that used to be their patio. Fast service and it was nice to see the owner who is usually there. And thankfully it wasn't packed when we got there on a Saturday around 1pm. This restaurant is still a family favourite!

I ordered the bun bo hue, pho, and spring rolls. The bun bo hue tasted more like a spicy pho broth, and the pho reminded me of the broth at the Michelin recommended restaurant on Ossington. Overall, the bun bo hue and spring rolls were just okay, nothing special. The pho was good if you're looking for something simple. They also put a large piece of beef tendon in the pho, which I loved! One thing I didn't like was that the owner seemed to be rushing us to order, which felt a bit off putting. I'd come back for the pho and spring rolls, but I'm not sure about the other dishes.

They have 5 types of dry noodles with pork tossed with sauce, which is super hard to find as a dish…read more(even if you look for similar dishes in Singaporean, Malaysian, Thai and Cambodian cuisines). The dry noodle dishes under the green column use egg noodles & those under the brown use rice noodles but the toppings & sauce are the same. The most pricey rice noodles are Japanese but otherwise the difference is width. Got the thin egg noodle version in large. It's recommended to add pickled garlic & red vinegar. The soup was pretty tasty with a natural sweetness, 2 springy half fishballs & a large, very fresh shrimp. The sauce was basically oyster sauce but pickled garlic, red vinegar, hoi sin & chili sauce were available to add complexity. The noodles weren't wet but were not dry either. Large was a very big bowl it came with minced pork, thin sliced pork beansprouts & greens. The pickled garlic was good. Also got a shrimp fritter on the side for $2.50. It was big with one tiny shrimp. The juxtaposition was comical but it was cheap. It was not warm but the fritter was crispy & tasty. Unfortunately the shrimp itself was dry & brittle. Service was good, especially for an Asian place.

Right down to the non-white washed clientele. I'd always prefer to dine where the "locals" dine, and being in a multicultural city like Toronto, it's difficult to fine a hidden gem that hasn't been invaded by foreigners (I'm laughing inside because I'm not Viet and am disliking myself for being that invader; however, I can pass for a Viet if I just point to the table I want and the menu item I'd like ). So, please keep this place to yourself as I would hate to line up the next time I come.
