Was driving past this location and Pho just called our names. Exterior and reception area looked great. Seating definitely did not get an upgrade - they felt like the cushions were in use from 1980. I literally folded my jacket and sat on top of it because there was no cushion. Honestly if they busted out the plastic folding chairs - it would have been more acceptable because at least you know what you are expecting before you sit down. Food was eh ... we had better Pho in other places. Their pho options were definitely unique since we rarely ever see oxtail pho. The spring rolls were definitely more meatier than what I was used to, as well as the skin of the spring rolls - it was thick. The iceberg lettuce really threw me off. As you can tell from my previous reviews - I eat a lot of Vietnamese food and this was the FIRST time I ever had spring rolls served with iceberg lettuce. Service was ok - the wait staff was attentive and as well as the hostess. Not sure if it was the waiter or the cooks who missed our order? This is my go to spot for Pho! The P3 is a must have and comes in a giant bowl with plenty of noodles, meat and of course soup! Wish that it wasn't as expensive but given the times I completely understand. They also have other locations and they are just as great. Would recommend! read more

We were pleasantly surprised. I had the P1, it had meatballs, thinly sliced beef and oxtails in Extra Large. Its was a huge bowl of delicious Pho! It was well seasoned and nothing in it was overpowering, which tends to be my fear when eating pho. My only issue was the ambiance, it was a little confusing. The front of the restaurant looks like a diner and the back looks upscale. I saw a woman demanding to sit in the back with her husband and the waitress being less than pleased to accommodate. The restaurant is huge so why not seat your patrons in the nice area then work your way into the not so formal area as it fills up. One thing that annoyed me was the Bush boys walking around looking for things to do. The buss boys randomly started replimishing chop sticks and the stack of spoons on the table as we were eating, it was a little off putting and the aggression attached to the noise was unnecessary. Advice to owner, having the buss boys replenish once the diners leave would be better. Overall, they were very welcoming and the staff was very attentive. We look forward to coming back. Overall I'll be back and next time we'll request the nice area for our date. read more

Pho Today opened in the very large restaurant space that had been inhabited by many restauteurs before. I was a bit nervous about how it would do since the space was so large but surprisingly the restaurant was pretty much packed when we entered. We were a relatively large group of nine (8 adults and a child). We were seated right away and they had high chairs available. The menu is huge. A bit big for someone who might not have never eaten at a Vietnamese restaurant before but manageable if you're familiar. I ordered a pork bahn mi and a P3 beef pho. The bahn mi was a shining star of a sandwich. My favorite part of the meal! Bread was warm and toasty and the meat was soft, tender, and flavorful! Topped with all the right fixings! The pho comes in medium and extra large (haha no small or large). The medium is really, really, generous in size and I could only eat half. The soup broth is quite good and the meat portion sizes are extremely generous. Everyone enjoyed their meals very much. The reason why they aren't earning a full five stars is because the waiter wasn't very friendly and was frustrated when we asked for things. We were seated for quite a long time and not offered water and were asked to order. When we asked for water the waiter seemed frustrated and said "yeah it's coming". And then, we had asked for two beers and a martini to which only one beer and a martini came and we had to ask two more times for the beer (from the same waiter). It almost felt like we were a burden on our waiter which wasn't fun...but to be fair, the restaurant has only been open for a month so I'm sure they are still training, etc. I had the opportunity to meet the owner, John, who showed me that they had two karaoke rooms available for private parties. The rooms host 24-40 people depending on the room for $50 an hour or if you spend a certain amount on food. He said that menus were in development. Overall, I would come back. Especially because the owner said a happy hour was going to begin next week with small plates and drink specials. And yes, I love a good happy hour. read more

Last night my sister threw my Brother in laws 50th Birthday and it was a success. The room was perfect and the food was delicious. Everyone really enjoyed everything. The staff and owners were great and made the night a success. My brother in law was so surprised with the party and raved about his favorite pork chops. Everyone really had a blast between the food and our Dj and the friends and family who came out. We had fried eggs rolls, fried rice, grilled chicken and pork chops and chicken wings . Still trying to find that illusive authentic suburban Vietnamese spot. I understand that Vietnamese cuisine is actually really diverse in the way that Thai food is diverse. Imagine the difference between Northern Italian vs a Southern Italian American restaurant for example or Cantonese vs Szechuan cuisine. The stuff here looks full blown Vietnamese but some things are off. Like their spring rolls are full size and they use Chinese spring roll wrappers instead of that course bubbly wrapper that is akin to normal Vietnamese style spring rolls. They also come in twos and are much larger than the usual shrimpy sized ones that come in 4 to 6. Another thing is their nuoc man, that explosive in your face fish sauce based dressing that is at the heart of Vietnamese food. Their version is watered down, not fishy or limey, more diet-umami than umami. The nuoc man that one is normally akin to confuses the senses at first approach. One can't figure out if it is the most putrid thing they've ever encountered or the most savory umami aroma ever. It punches one in the gut, the version here is none of that. That said the place serves cocktails. Liquor and Asian food? Game on! read more

Overall it was a solid pho place. We ordered summer spring rolls and two medium pho with steak. The decor was nice, seating was spread out enough with a variety of tables and booths. There seem to be some inconsistencies, the chopsticks were high quality and reusable, seats were comfortable material, but the plates were not ceramic but a heavy duty plastic. Also my boba tea was served in a to go container, which was really weird. I did appreciate that they had a large menu but often times( with the exception of diners) restaurants that have large menus don't excel at a specific dish. We briefly spoke to the owner who was gracious enough to show us the bar which was due to open soon. The decor was modern, and It will have an impressive 24 beers on tap. I am not certain which market he is looking to tap into...is it a family restaurant..is it a bar/lounge..a banquet hall? We thought the food was solid, and would definitely return. read more

This is the biggest pho place I've ever been to and the food was delicious! I recommend getting the large bowl for 1-2 people and the XL can definitely be shared by several. The service is also amazing as they were able to accommodate a group of about 30+ of us in a separate room, which even had karaoke available if we wanted :) read more

Went for dinner with my wife. We got the table at 8:40 waited for someone to take the order. 8:59 still waiting, so I got up and walked around and asked if some is going come. A guy comes and takes the order : two drinks ,one starter , two entrees. A few minutes and the entrees turns up , slides food on the table and scoots . No eye contact no words spoken. Then one drink turns up , we said we asked for two, he is like its being made (it was a beer on tap :) ). Still no starter (wings) , again the guy who is making the beer comes says let me check the kitchen . Then mysteriously the wings fly in (Now I am worried if it was rummaged from leftovers ). First off, this place is HUGE. Quite possibly the biggest vietnamese/pho restaurant I've ever been to. Converted from being a diner, this place has a great deal of potential, but their biggest issue will be price/portion ratio. Given the size, they'll have to be mindful of this so as to maintain repeat business. It's Edison, and there's other pho out there where you won't spend as much. The big draw here would be drunken nights, if they were open late. Soup in your belly after drinking is actually a great way to avoid a hangover. I learned this in the Philippines during the summer of 1996... I had a giant bowl of pho, and it was a really good bowl of soup. Service was fast and polite. read more

I saw that this place had newly opened up on Yelp and decided to give it a try (I love Vietnamese food). The ambiance was nice, club-like music in the background, and everything was clean. We got two hot coffees with milk (Cafe sua nong) and it was great! it tasted sweet in the beginning but the bitterness at the end made it so addicting! I'll definitely try it iced next time too! For our entrees we got the Chicken soup with noodles and beef wrapped in grape leaves and spring rolls on rice vermicelli. Both dishes were incredible! The chicken soup had a nice deep broth taste and the vermicelli came with the pickled veggies you would find in the Bahn Mi sandwiches. The beef wrapped in leaves was super juicy with every bite, and the spring rolls were crunchy and delicious. Best of all, everything is fairly priced. You absolutely get your money's worth here and I highly recommend trying this place out! Overall, I have no complaints about this place. I came with my parents and neighbors and we were seated very quickly despite how packed the restaurant was. Our waiter was great - he had to run around a lot, yet checked in with us frequently but never rushing us out even though we spent about three hours there. I ordered a large pho without meat, and asked for it with bok choy and tofu. The bowl was huge! There were four large chunks of tofu in the soup, which were a little tough. The bok choy was hard to eat and would have been better if cut up more as well. The noodles were different than the noodles that were in my mom's pho (she got hers with shrimp) - they were much thicker, white, and a little more transparent (this wasn't noted on the menu). They also seemed kind of slimy. It wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't the best pho I've had. The broth was very good however. I also ordered a Thai tea with boba, which came iced but the first sip was very warm. I waited a bit for the ice to do its work, but after that it became lukewarm and watered down. We ordered the pork spring roll and calamari for appetizers, which were both pretty good. The calamari was crispy and the pork spring roll had good flavor My dad's food (which I believe was stir fry) came out about 20 minutes after the other four dishes came out, which was odd, but he said it was pretty good. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food but they weren't raving about it. I really wanted to love Pho Today, but I do hope to come back again and try some of the other dishes! read more

Stopped in to grab lunch to go today and they had me out in 15 minutes! The place smells amazing when you walk in. Great decor, high ceilings, lots of seating so I wouldn't worry about seating a large party. The menu has everything a good Vietnamese spot has. My experience here was absolutely horrible... DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU ARE BLACK. I came in asked for a table of one. I am tbe only black person in the restaurant...just for record tbe time was around 1:30pm I sat down less than 2 mins later a waitress asked me if I was ready to order. No hello, no my name is...just straight what do I want. I said may I have some time it's my 1st time here. She walked away less than 2 mins later another waitress asked if I was ready to order...I again so no. The 1st waitress came back... I said to myself let order something so they can leave me alone. I ordered an appetizer but apparently that wasn't enough...the 2nd waitress comes and says are you ready to order. I said I just did...she leaves. The 1st waitress comes back with my spring rolls...less than a minute later the 2nd waitress comes and say are just going order appetizers. I said is there something wrong or is it problem to order just appetizers. She said no...in my head I'm like why ask me that if it's not a problem. I told her no I will be ordering a main dish she walks a way. Keep in mind there was a white man across from me everyone else was Asian...not once did any waitress or waiter go to their tables just mine. In face the whote man had to call a waitress over to place his order because they were so worried about me. I'm now uncomfortable and decided I am going to leave. Pho today is a great place in my opinion to stop in for some good quick Vietnamese food. The banh mi sandwiches have always been good and the soup is always good and never disappoints. I have had the pho there a couple times and it did taste kind of sweet- I have no reason other than that to think they may put sugar in the broth but when I asked they said they do not. Not sure why there was even a wait when we had came. I think it was because the business is so big but they're just understaffed. Pretty much bland and super stingy with the meat. We got "Goi" as an appetizer. It's basically a Vietnamese version of a pickled salad. Simple enough to not mess up right? Wrong. Everything about it was just whatevs. They didn't give us enough of the lemon/fish sauce for our dishes. And it was pretty hard to flag down our waitress that day. Been here twice, was impressed the first time but the quality in service the second time def was worth three stars. Had to flag down for a waiter a few times and wasn't really sure who was our server but our hostess did a great job taking care of us! The pho is a way bigger portion than other places I've been to, but it's definitely not as authentic. You can't go wrong with the pho and vermicelli noodles here! This restaurant is big and very accommodating for large parties. One LITTLE thing I don't really love about this place is the service. Their service is sometimes pretty slow (especially during busy hours) and it's hard to get their attention. Then after serving your food, they tend to give you your checks a little too quickly. Every time I come here, I get one of the two dishes I usually order. P5 Rare steak, well done flank, fat brisket (pho): I love how the broth is light and there's always a lot of meat every time I order this dish. They always give you a side dish of bean sprouts, jalapeños, limes and thai basil leaves. B2 grilled pork & spring roll (rice vermicelli): love their grilled pork! The saltiness of the pork gets balanced out with the vermicelli noodles. The spring rolls are always a really good bonus! read more

I agree with the other yelpers the food is definitely overpriced and the service is bad! I cant remember when a bowl of pho noodles went from $8 to $16! Crazy expensive. The pesky little two crispy pork spring rolls each cut in half, 4 half pieces cost $4.95. Insanely overpriced for seriously watered down noodle soup. We ordered 3 orders of P2 and P11. We thought the server knew what he was bringing to the table and we had told him specifically who has the P11 which is the create your own. While eating, we realized he had gave the P11 to person who ordered P2. It's frustrating when there are only two types of Phos we ordered and they could not have our order delivered accordingly. We also ordered two Vietnamese iced coffees and two mango smoothies with our order. Well that never came until after I was done with my Pho. I had to wave their staff down questioning about the drinks we ordered. We were told the server never put our drinks in. And we were not dreaming because when we placed the order with the server at our table, he even questioned my kids if they want bubbles with their mango smoothies. Nobody came to check on us during our meal. Anyways 4 bowls of pho, 2 orders of crispy pork spring rolls plus four drinks, the bill was $103 with taxes excluding tip. I never remembered spending $120 for Pho for family of 4. I recommend visiting other Vietnamese Pho joints to get your pho noodles. Do not go here. You'll regret it.
