I got their Bangkok Duck, the service was decently fast, however the place was a little bit small. The ambiance felt fine. Now, going back to the duck, it had Penang curry on it and it was absolutely yummy! The price was alright, not too expensive, not too inexpensive, I think duck is usually expensive in general. Came here Friday night as walk-ins and we were seated immediately. The place was empty but filled up as the hour went on. Parking is mostly street,and the restaurant is nested along side many businesses on the busy Main Street so be prepared to look for parking if coming during busy times. Food: I'm not usually a Pad Thai girl but it was delicious. The curry puff was not my favorite, it was too sweet. Drink: BYOB, but we didn't. we ordered a Large Thai iced tea to share and didn't realize it wasn't really meant for sharing as it came out in a large mug. Very cute spot to grab lunch or dinner! Restaurant is beautifully decorated with very nice music for additional ambiance. Staff are very friendly and attentive, we had a lovely brief conversation with them before leaving after our meal. The food was delicious! Some of the best Massaman Curry I've had the pleasure of tasting, and the Beef Pad Kra Pao and Roti bread were delicious! I especially loved the wonderful texture of the Roti, so crispy on the outside and deliciously soft in the center. I usually order out but choose to dine in. I ordered the Basil Red Snapper and it was large enough to share for two people. I love the intimacy of the interior. This place always suffered from being disorganized, but it has only gotten worse. I do takeout, and IF you get lucky enough to get the food you ordered it might actually be good -- but the reality is, they never get it right. Today I ordered Pad Thai, spice level 3 (out of 5). I drove 20 minutes to pick up the food, they assured me they had not received my order (even though I paid for it in the app and had a confirmation). Then after a lot of searching on their computer and running back to the kitchen, they discovered they did have the order and handed me a bag with my order (from the computer) stapled to it. I drove the 20 minutes home, opened the order, and it didn't smell right -- no spice. Then I looked, and it wasn't even Pad Thai, it was Pad See Ew. I think they just grabbed the next order off the line, threw it in a bag, and gave it to me. Never again. I will never go here again, and the advice I give you -- don't waste your time or your money on this place. Go somewhere else. read more

This newly opened Thai restaurant in Woodbridge NJ has some excellent Thai food. There is street parking on Main Street, but there is a parking lot for the downtown area behind Main Street. Its a small place about 10 or so tables for dine in. They offer take out but I suggest to call ahead 20-30 minutes for pickup. I have tasted the Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao, Penang Curry, Green Curry, and the soft shell crab salad. All dishes were so good and the quality of the food is excellent. Lots of flavor, portions were decent, and service was good. Thai iced tea is also a recommendation. Overall this is must try spot if you like Thai food. An authentic gem in a local place. Siwa Thai is a small restaurant that boasts volumes in its food. Probably one of the best Thai restaurants I've had here in the Western Hemisphere. You just can't go wrong. The Thai Iced tea, if you get a large size, will be 32oz! Just look at the photo! The honey duck is cooked to a good temperature, the soft shell crab is delicious, the pad Thai is carby, and the curry is perfection. You just can't go wrong. Would highly recommend the dishes we selected for a party of 4 or more. You get a good amount of protein, carbs and boat load of sweetness to balance it all out through drink and dessert at the end. 10/10 would come back again, and am glad we went out of our way to come find this spot! read more

I frequent this restaurant quite often going on dates with my girlfriend or bringing family. We love this food place and I consider it one of the better restaurants on the street. The thai tea is delicious and comes in 2 sizes. It comes in a regular portion and a "I love Thai tea" extra large which my girlfriend always gets. The place is small and manageable. Been here twice and love it! The place is located on Main Street and parking is off street, no meters but do read the street signs. I believe during the weekdays, parking is up to 3 hours on both sides of the street. The restaurant is small and cozy. The staff is very friendly. My family and I came for dinner so we ordered 5 dishes to share: panang curry, soft shell crabs, chicken pad Thai, tofu pad Thai, and Bangkok duck. Everything is delicious including their Thai iced tea. The food was seasoned just right and the ingredients is fresh. Two weeks later, we decided to come here again for lunch and yes, they do have lunch specials where side salads are included. For starters, we had fried calamari. It's definitely a hit with my family. The crunch and side dipping sauce is addictive! I had the pad kee mao and it's listed as a spicy dish. Maybe my spice tolerance is higher than normal but their bits of red pepper flakes is too mild for me. In any case, my lunch is still very delicious! So, I will start by saying I certainly will need to try SIWA again to better assess. I ate while super hungry so this may be a little inflated. With that said here we go... probably the best pineapple rice I've had in the past couple of years. Very tasty right out of the container with no sauces needed. My ONLY gripe and it's a preference thing is I prefer crushed cashews over whole ones. Totally has no affect on taste. Just a preference. Food was prepared quickly and it was nice and hot. I really enjoyed this and will order again and even try other things off the menu. Definitely recommend this place. The place is uncomfortable and cold, we ate with our jackets on and were still cold. I asked the waitress about this and she responded saying if someone opens the door it will get colder which it does The food we received was cold. When I told them it was cold she took it to the back and I heard the microwave go on When I heard the microwave finish she brought my food back but it taste burnt. She refunded me that plate. The food does not taste fresh, we ordered different plates. It mediocre food that's just reheated. I was very disappointed. I'm home and I feel bloated with a headache. The only thing that tasted decent was the spring rolls and canned soda. I have had real authentic Thai food by my house in NYC/Queens and it's super fresh, piping hot! So delicious! I thought about writing a review for the Thai tea alone. It's on point. Perfect ratio of tea to milk. The color is the right hue and it tastes amazing. I also order the pad kra pao. It's different than the minced chicken I'm used to but they use white meat chicken. The flavor, however, is amazing. It's a little spicy but incredibly doable. It's not an offensive spicy that just hits you and burns but it's gradual and you can taste it. The decor is nice, the place is a little small but fits about 8 mid sized tables. Service was friendly. Nice small place right on Main St in Woodbridge. There's a large parking lot a block away across the street if you're not lucky enough to snag some on street parking. The spring rolls were very good but a tad greasy. Red curry was tasty and not overly spicy. I only wish they gave larger portions. Happy FriYay Adventurers! One of my New Years resolutions was more date nights, for me. So after being in the dumps all week I took myself out! I had stopped by here during the summer but only for take out. I don't remember what I even got but I don't think I was impressed. But tonight this pad Thai blew me away. It was so much food! I ordered the dish with both chicken and shrimp(fair warning the shrimp still have their tails). I've had pad Thai at other places but this was so fresh and savory. The lime juice really complimented the tastes of the peanuts and sweet tart sauce. Usually I get a duck dish but I was craving this all week; so glad it turned out well! Since there was so much food this is a good dish to share and order appetizers for splitting. I really enjoyed the quietness of Siwa and sitting at the front window. It wasn't that cold either, no drafters or overwhelming sensation of heat that sometimes happens. I am so happy I got a smidge dolled up and grabbed myself some delicious local Thai food.
