Thai Ice Tea - deliciously sweet and creamy, generous size

Siwa Thai remains our go-to Thai restaurant in the area. The restaurant has great vibes, very stylish. The employees are always friendly and the food is amazing! Compliments to the new ordering system they are using. It is quick, easy and seems more personalized to their restaurant specifically.

I got the chance to try this restaurant for dinner. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked into the restaurant and was sat. I ordered: Thai Iced Tea Tom Yum Koong Curry Puff Pad kee mao with Beef Chu Chee Jumbo shrimp I liked the thai iced tea and the pad kee Mao! The curry puff was alright. All in all I had a good experience!

We were starving and looking for a quick warm work lunch. Siwa was great, fast service, and it was quiet here on a Wednesday at lunchtime. This Thai food was good for in the middle of New Jersey. I love their huge glass of Thai tea. They don't pre mix their thai tea with milk, so i was able to get it dairy free. Yum!

Siwa Thai is a fairly small family owned restaurant on Main Street. Their menu is plentiful and I'm excited to try other dishes in the future. I enjoyed the spring rolls as they tasted great and were the right amount of crisp. The Pad Thai was a hefty serving size and tasted like an excellent Pad Thai dish.

3.5 stars. Small but cute Thai restaurant with a friendly staff. I swung by for dinner and thought food was generally good, but my pad see ew was just a tad too salty for my liking and I was very thirsty afterwards. My husband enjoyed his massaman curry, which is savory and sweet with a mild kick to it. BYOB and street parking only.

Ordered takeout as the restaurant closes at 3 until 430, so I can't speak to the service. This is an intimate space with a few tables. Pad Thai was good, not great. Red curry was delicious! Just enough kick without being overly spicy. Would return to sit and enjoy some other menu items.

Came here Friday night as walk-ins and we were seated immediately. The place was empty but filled up as the hour went on. Parking is mostly street, and the restaurant is nested along side many businesses on the busy Main Street so be prepared to look for parking if coming during busy times. Food: I'm not usually a Pad Thai girl but it was delicious. The curry puff was not my favorite, it was too sweet. Drink: BYOB, but we didn't. we ordered a Large Thai iced tea to share and didn't realize it wasn't really meant for sharing as it came out in a large mug. The staff poured some in a different glass for us so we have to do it & spill all over the table. A nice spot. Also saw several folks ordering takeout.

Cute date night spot on the strip of Woodbridge. I didn't capture the seating but it's intimate enough. Service was wonderful and we were seated right away with no reservation. The food was fantastic even though I felt like a little hot sauce would help the overall flavor component. If you're torn between the pad Thai and the Thai fried rice, go with the pad Thai. It's not overly sweet like some can be. Will return!

I usually order out but choose to dine in. I ordered the Basil Red Snapper and it was large enough to share for two people. I love the intimacy of the interior. The host/servers were very friendly and attentive. Food came out fresh and fragrant. Not to mention how delicious everything was. One of my favorite Thai restaurants and I will be back soon.

It's hard to find new Thai places that'll blow your socks away, yet Siwa Thai did exactly that. We ordered the Siwa Fried Rice and a green curry - savored every single bite. Spice level 4 had us sweating but so worth it. The cold coffee was a tad too sweet and they were kind enough to get me a new one with less sugar. Super attentive staff, amazing food (fried rice) and a cozy interior at the heart of downtown Woodbridge.

The food was good and service was nice. The vibe is similar to Phattra Thai in Metuchen. The parking is decent for a Saturday evening. Shouldn't need a reservation if you go earlier in the evening.

This newly opened Thai restaurant in Woodbridge NJ has some excellent Thai food. There is street parking on Main Street, but there is a parking lot for the downtown area behind Main Street. Its a small place about 10 or so tables for dine in. They offer take out but I suggest to call ahead 20-30 minutes for pickup. I have tasted the Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao, Penang Curry, Green Curry, and the soft shell crab salad. All dishes were so good and the quality of the food is excellent. Lots of flavor, portions were decent, and service was good. Thai iced tea is also a recommendation. Overall this is must try spot if you like Thai food. I have been here many times after I wrote this review for lunch and dinner as well.

The food was seasoned so well (and not overly done for those salt sensitive people like my mom). The chicken was very moist yet the skin was wonderfully crispy. The fish tasted very fresh. It tastes good with or without the lime juice. I would definitely come here again! Ps. It's a casual spot but they do have seating although a lot customers did take out.

The restaurant was nearly empty, with only one other couple dining at the time. Shortly after we sat down, I noticed one of the cooks open the front door of the restaurant, look directly at us, throw his hands up in frustration, and begin mumbling under his breath. He then started moving large boxes into the restaurant. Since I speak Spanish, I understood some of what he was saying. He complained that there were plenty of other seats available and questioned why we had chosen to sit where we were. As I looked more closely, I realized the mirrors beside our table were actually sliding doors to a storage area. It became clear that he was upset because my wife and I were seated in front of it. Had someone simply approached us and politely asked us to move, we would have gladly done so. Instead, the cook continued making comments under his breath and staring at us while moving boxes. Once he finished, he walked past our table, gave me a dirty look, and called me a vulgar name in Spanish ( cara de mierda). At that point, I stood up and asked him, in Spanish, to repeat what he had said. Rather than addressing the situation, he immediately walked into the kitchen and refused to come back out. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable having my food prepared by someone who had just openly insulted me and my pregnant wife. We decided to leave without ordering. This was especially disappointing because we have visited before and always enjoyed the restaurant. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled was completely unprofessional and has likely cost them two longtime customers.

I am still disappointed by the lack of response from the corporate office on this matter, but the Edison location was extremely helpful in resolving my issue. Initial review: My wife and I have been going to True Food Kitchen for a while now, and really enjoy their healthy food options, but their recent lack of customer service is very disappointing. We recently purchased a gift card for True Food Kitchen but when we had problems with it, the local restaurant wasn't able to do anything. We reached out to the company they parner with for the gift cards, who told us to reach out to corporate. I left two voicemails with True Food corporate with no response, in addition to leaving email with no response either. I would appreciate it even if they couldn't do anything that they would at least get back to us and let us know that, but nothing. I commend True Food for offering such healthy eating options for people but without good customer service, I can't see it really lasting for long.

NOTE: Be very careful about using any dining credits from Open Table here. I saved up points for like a year and got a measly $16. When deciding on which restaurant to choose for Brunch today, we noticed True Food was in the Open Table network, so I would be able to use the credit there. When we arrived the place was pretty empty. Strange for the time of day. Bad sign #1. They walked us to a large table. The table was soaking wet and the hostess laid our paper menus on the puddle of water, never acknowledging the fact that the table was wet. Bad sign #2. I used my napkin to dry off the table and asked the waiter for another. He was very cordial. It was noon on a Saturday, so we assumed they would provide us with the Brunch menu (since that is why we came) and we had to ask for it - a measly 4 items on this menu, so options were few. Bad sign #3. Our server and the taste of the food were the only positive things about this trip. At the end of the meal, I followed the Open table directions and clicked on redeem in front of the waiter. It seems a Mastercard number pops up and since the server nor the manager knew how to do the dining credit, she said it was declined and could give me a 10% discount. Our meal was only $30, maki g that like $3 I said that I had to use the dining credit here since I booked our reservation which is tied to the credit and I would lose the dining credit. The manager was very demeaning and I reminded her that I can't use this credit anywhere else and that the whole reason for choosing this restaurant today was because of the Open Table credit. She then asked me to stop yelling at her. I, at no time in this conversation, raised my voice. I just stated the fact that I will lose $16 if they don't use it here. She said I could use it elsewhere and I reiterated that was not true and asked if she could contact open table to see why it won't go through. She said no because they are a third party and it is not their responsibility. After a while back and forth on this, she then said, I told you I would take $16 off the bill so you can use that elsewhere. When I reminded her that she said only 10% before she again said to stop yelling at me and I am just trying to make you happy. My husband said, does she look happy? After that she basically kicked us out of the restaurant. I will never return to this location ever again after being treated this way, like I was some criminal trying to get over them over a lousy $16. Now I can see why, on Sunday during Brunch time, the place was practically empty. Go to Original Pancake House just up the street if you want great food and service. There will be a wait but it is worth it!
