First of all, this is the first bakery I've found in my 21 years in Texas that's even close to the…read morequality and feel of the bakeries in Southern California and I'm so excited. All of their selections are very good and very fresh and you have to come by frequently to see what is rotating in and out - like seasonal baked items depending on the holidays. Lots to choose from - it's almost impossible for me to choose and keep from buying more than my family will eat. Great customer service, great quality and the prices are so good. Why aren't there more bakeries like Lucy's in North Texas?! I'll try a new bakery now and then, in search of a good place close to me. I'm very picky on the flavors of the bakery's breads and such. I'll usually try a new bakery at least once. If it doesn't grab me the first time, I'll move on. It was really good. The concha's have a little flavor, they could use just a little bit more anise, but not enough to keep me from buying them. The empanadas were fantastic! I love Gallinas, but this place didn't have them, maybe next time. This will be my permanent bakery, unless I move out of this area.
