This is unusual because it's never leaked in the past. It only has 42k miles on it. I decided I'd better check the oil level since some had obviously leaked out. The dipstick showed that the oil level was about 1/2" above the "full" mark, AFTER leaking maybe a half pint on the garage floor. Apparently the tech overfilled the crankcase when it was serviced. So, now I guess I get to deal with a leaking rear main seal thanks to the carelessness of Grease Monkey. There's also black grease on the driver's side carpet from their boots. These guys used to be conscientious and reasonably priced. I don't think they're any better than Walmart's Tire and Lube Center nowadays. I'm not going back to Grease Monkey.

Honest guys, Steve, the owner, is on the floor getting his hands dirty. This is important to me. In my last three experiences I was overwhelmingly pleased. First, the timing belt broke due to a seized tensioner. It's an interference engine so top end is ruined. Steve Mills rebuilt it and had me back on the road in 4 days and under $3k. Then, secondly, about four months later, timing belt again. I took it back, they looked at it and said it was a new part that failed. The bolt that the tensioner pivots on snapped in half. Steve Mills Racing gives you a fairly lengthy warranty on this job so we got our second engine rebuild for free. Yes that's what everyone should do but these guys did it right. No hesitation, no beating around the bush. They apologized for having to keep our car for a few more days, made sure we had transportation and made this job their priority to be finished as soon as possible. Later this year the car started running poorly and the check engine light came on. Took it in, diagnostics said one cylinder wasn't firing and they found a worn plug wire. I picked the car up, completed the work myself and they cleared the code for me. No attitude about doing the work myself. This is a racing shop after all. These guys like to work on their own cars too. I tend not to trust mechanics in general. Either they're aren't honest or they don't care enough about cars for me to trust their options. This is not the case at Steve Mills Racing. these guys are enthusiasts and it shows.
