I met Peter Martin, proprietor, I bought a used Renault Espace Authentique on 4th June 2013,three months warrantee,he delivered it personally to the caravan park we were staying on 6th June, 2013. Beautiful car. Used it two days locally, hitched up our caravan and set off for home at about 1.30 pm on 9th June, 2013. As we took the roundabout on A133 onto duel carriageway, car lost power,engine raced out of control, palls of blue smoke. Couldn't stop engine, until it stopped itself. Phoned Phoenix Car Sales, P.Martin not there. Called Green Flag, their expert just said, "terminal".We were rescued home about 11pm. Following Sunday a breakdown truck from Phoenix arrived, too small to carry the car. I paid a local company £326.40 to take the Ranault back to Walton to be repaired.They no longer answer my 'phone calls,now 11th September,2013 the car is still there, we hope. Took action through Small Claims court,after 3 weeks heard nothing. read more
