I was charged $135.00 for diagnostic check for my Honda and telling me I needed $1500.00 in repairs. Looked like no AC for me this summer, so I did some searching on YouTube. Guy says to check a certain relay in the engine fuse box, he says they are NOT going to tell you if it is bad, and charge you up to $1500.00 to fix your auto AC. Go to AutoZone, pay $12.95 for the relay, pull old one out and put in new relay, Air Conditioner comes on. it is a sign of the times; however, these guys are bad news.

I took care of in he held it for 2 days told me it was a broken wire and AAA must have did the damage. I…read morewent in for the $19.99 oil change special (advertised with a big banner on the front of the building) plus a tire repair. I was quoted $32.95 and 25 minutes. Got out of there for $42.95 after an hour and 15 minutes. I was happy to see an auto shop open on that vacant corner within walking distance, and the car needed an oil change. Drove over and dropped the car off. Told them I would go home and be back. He said 25 minutes for oil change and tire repair. The place was not busy - maybe 1 other car there with 2-3 guys working. Came back 35 minutes later and the car's up on the lift with the left rear wheel off. "I was just about to call you," he says. Was shown my brakes and given dire predictions. I knew the brakes needed work, but that wasn't what I was there for. First time at a new garage, they're not doing my brakes. Said not right now. Apparently they had had to send someone out to get an oil filter - didn't have one on hand to fit my car. At this point was told that the tire was still unrepaired because the guy didn't know how to open my trunk. "But don't worry - once it's down it'll be quick," he says. "How many minutes is quick?" I asked. "Five minutes," he says. Then I stood and looked at him until he said, "I guess I could do that right now." I walked into the garage with him and opened the trunk with the button on the inside of the driver's door so he could get my tire out of the trunk. Eventually, the guy came back, put the oil filter on, and put oil in the car. I was presented with a bill for $10 more than they quoted. "Special oil filter," he says. Along with the bill I get a quote for the brakes. On my way out, he calls out, "Be safe!" I GET IT - YOU WANT ME TO BUY BRAKES AND INSTALLATION FROM YOU. Not gonna happen. Not gonna see you again.

I was given a preliminary estimate for the cost of the body repairs. It was later discovered that the interior engine and surrounding areas were badly damaged causing the vehicle to overheat. I was provided with a new estimate for both outer and interior repair work. When the work was completed, an additional $900 was added to the final repair costs for work that was NOT approved. Before attempting to retrieve the vehicle at the cost of the earlier estimate, I sent a lengthy email to the business advising that I would not pay for work not approved by me. On the day that I attempted to retrieve the vehicle, I spoke to a manager who was totally insensitive to my plight and advised that I wait for and speak to Daryl. Both Daryl and the manager insisted on payment for the non-approved work on the vehicle. The secondary estimate amount of $4,024 was paid by the finance company. The company breached its contract by failing to permit me, the customer, to approve or not approve the additional work, as set forth in the company agreement. There were twenty-two new line items on the final estimate which, given the scandalous atmosphere felt in the office, hinted to an effort by the company to simply and needlessly bolster the estimate. Without seeing the work that was added and not approved, I cannot be sure any of that alleged work was actually or fully performed. A copy of the final estimate was not given to me until the day I attempted to retrieve the vehicle.
