I should not have continued to be forced into paying after I had told them that we had a relocation, but they continue to charge my account. They called me after I wrote a bad review and told me they would fix it, but here I am weeks later still being charged. I would say to never get a membership here, they will continue to charge you after filling out their paperwork and calling them. So I will never recommend this gym to anyone.

The building its in is in need of a paint job, much of the free weights and machines are outdated, and the cardio room smells a bit moldy. The locker rooms are small and a bit musty. Still, it has a charm and appeal to me that I can't put my finger on. Kind of reminds me of the old-school hardcore gyms I used to train at in my past. I did notice they recently added some new machines to go along with the line of equipment already there. The upstairs room has a load of free weights, benches, racks, and other equipment. Another room on the ground floor features all the leg machines, squat racks, and raquetball courts. Another room has a good amount of cardio machines. Also has a room for classes, and an outdoor play area for the kids and day care. Mixed group of people of all fitness levels seem to work out here, and staff is pleasant. It just all seems to fit like an old glove.

Then I can stay as long as I want, but I can't reenter. The place is deceivingly big!!! It had everything I like and use regularly. Equipment is a bit crammed but not so much that you can't work out. Not crowded. There are many rooms to workout, including an outdoor area. I like the dark projection room where my recumbent bike was located. There are small towels. I have had my hair cut there and for pedicures. Today, I went for a fast pedicure and I had Sofia. As she was doing my service, I mentioned to her that my right toe hurt. She told me I had an ingrown toe nail and she had not touch it. Which is strange as she cut the toe nail and took care of the cuticle. I said, "It was not hurting when I arrived." When I was leaving, she my name is Sofia and NEVER book with me. I felt she was rude. As I was checking out, I was asked how my service was and I told them. The manager immediately said let me make this right for you. I told her I would pay for the service but she insisted. I will go back to the Ranch as it clean but I will stay away from Sofia as rudeness in my book is not acceptable.

I kind of feel that we all have similar beliefs about how to treat others with respect and kindness; it just feels like a family atmosphere with health at the core. The coaches have a way of correcting me (if I need correcting) in the most respectful and encouraging way. There are monthly competitions that are just a fun little added bonus. This month we will be holding the plank position. Holding a plank is an important core building exercise and this inspires me to do more when I'm not at the gym. ALSO - On holidays they invite you to bring others which is a great experience for friends and family to see how fun working out can be. I can't say enough about this gym. Beginner crossfitter here! I'm working on week five at Pinnacle and I feel amazing. No more back or…read moreneck pain or sciatic discomfort, issues I discussed with coach Bert, before beginning my training. The coaches here are amazing and truly focus on your physical well-being. Stretching and warm-ups always performed prior to the exercise of the day and a cool down to complete the work out. I am a beginner and could not do some of the exercises when I started however, they were modified to suite my fitness level and I'm slowly building my strength and confidence. Coaches and members have been an awesome advantage, always encouraging each other to keep moving, keep going and don't give up. I could not have chosen a better team of crossfitters' to encourage me on my journey to a better me. Thank you guys, I am definitely hooked. Crossfit always "seemed" fit for the more advanced fitness gurus, the competitors, the tough guys. How could I compete with that level of fitness however, I have learned the only competition is with yourself, the internal battle to just do the damn exercise, get it done, you only have 2 more, I know your tired but you can do it, these guys don't scare me, I'm tough too.
