I ordered flowers through another company online. I chose this gorgeous bright pink bouquet. It had bright pink roses and other flowers and pops of purple. I specifically wanted PINK! When my friend sent me a picture of what she got, I was completely shocked! It didn't even resemble what I ordered. They used red roses and some pale pink that looked more white and a tiny bit of purple. It was mostly greenery and even if I hadn't specifically wanted a certain look, I would have thought it was poorly arranged. I don't know how someone could look at what I wanted and arrange this and actually delivery it. They should be ashamed of themselves! If they did not have the flowers to make this arrangement they should not have made it or have contacted me to let me know. I immediately contacted the customer service from the original company and they offered a partial refund or to resend it. I didn't trust that Phoenix Flowers would do anything better the second time around. Honestly, I think that pathetic bouquet should have been fully refunded. I am so embarrassed by what was sent. Thankfully my friend knows that I care about her by sending flowers, so I accomplished that. But I didn't even want her to know what a disappointment it was to me. I ordered flowers, by phone, seven days before the requested delivery, to allow plenty of time for the florists to create the order, and to ensure that they could make what I wanted. The order was taken by Judy, who did a fine job of taking and reading back my order. I asked for fifty red roses, with (at Judy's suggestion) some gold trim, but with no other flowers, and with little or no filler-plants, to celebrate a fiftieth wedding anniversary. At my request, Judy assured me that I would be emailed a photo of the finished vase arrangement. And, for an extra delivery fee, she assured me of a morning delivery, before 11am. For this, she quoted me a total charge of $383.31, including sales tax, delivery charge, and the guaranteed morning surcharge. The flowers were delivered on the morning of the scheduled day, and at the quoted price, which was great. However, I received no emailed photo from the driver or the store, which had been promised. If it hadn't been for the photo sent to me by the recipients, I would never have learned of the goof-up by the florists. The arrangement that was delivered was lovely, but was probably not worth almost $400, and was certainly not even close to what I'd ordered. Instead of the fifty red roses I'd ordered, it had about two (possibly three?) dozen, along with a variety of other flowers and a whole lot of filler-plants. What was delivered was delivered timely, as promised, and was a beautiful arrangement. Unfortunately, it was completely different from what I had explicitly asked for, and the promised photo never came. I don't recommend NOT going to Phoenix Flower Shops. I'm just forewarning you that a costly special order might not end up being what you asked for. And since they can't be relied-on to send a photo of what they deliver, you may never know. ADDENDUM: I received a phone message and a very nice email from Kristen, Customer Service Manager, in which she explained the mix-up on the floral arrangement. She graciously apologized for their mistake and for mistakenly omitting the floral photo, and she offered a very nice adjustment to make up for it. In view of how nice the delivered arrangement was, along with the very responsive customer service follow-up, I look forward to ordering from Phoenix Flower Shops again in the near future. read more

The delivery was an absolute mess. The carrier brought the flowers into a place of business with water pouring all over the floor. She claimed it was the fault of the vase. The vase was fully intact, but there was no more water in the vase and water was inside the petals of the flowers. The box on the exterior of the vase was soaking wet. This indicates the flowers tipped over during transit. Pictures to show this mess. I spent over 10 minutes of my workday mopping up the water all over the entryway where customers were walking in and out, which is a safety liability for my company. I refilled the water, made a new carrier out of shipping cardboard, then tried to enjoy the flowers. That's when I saw the lack of quality in the flowers. Pictures to show the wilting. I called the company, per instruction of the Satisfaction Gauranteed card, and received an apology before asking me what I want them to do...can they come clean up the mess? This review is long over due. I grew up in AZ and now live out of state. I still have a lot of family and friends in AZ so anytime I need to order flowers I always order through Phoenix Flower Shops. I've never had an issue and the flowers I've ordered (over the internet) and they have always looked just as beautiful as the pictures which you can't say about a lot of flowers you order online. Recently I placed an order for a friend and used some of my reward points on my order. To be honest I've never watched how many points I had etc. To my surprise 2 days later I received an email from PFS saying they had redeemed too many of my points for my order and for the inconvenience they were going to replenish the points and also gave me additional points for the mistake. How often does that happen? That truly is was customer service is all about, fixing a mistake before I even realized it, more business could learn from this. I sincerely appreciated the email and the effort made to "make it right". There are other businesses you can call on a mistake and beg for a simple solution.
