    Full set "skinny almond" nails

I have been coming to this salon since their grand opening. The space itself is nice and modern, but unfortunately the pricing practices here are extremely inconsistent and dishonest. Every time I visit, I get the exact same service. The only thing that changes is the color of my polish. Yet somehow the price is different every single time. They have a clearly posted price list at the front, but at this point it feels like it's just for decoration, because by the time you're checking out the price is always higher than what the list suggests. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time the pricing here hasn't matched what's listed on their own menu. Because of that, I always ask for the total before the service begins so there are no surprises. Today I did exactly that. Before giving me a price, the nail tech started asking personal questions like where I work and what I do for a living, which honestly felt like he was trying to size me up. Based on their own pricing, my service should have been around $60. When I asked for the price beforehand, he told me it would be $67, so I agreed to proceed. When I went to check out, I asked the front desk to apply the 10% military/veteran discount that they advertise. That's when I was told the $67 already included the discount. When the tech came up, he claimed the actual price was $75 and that $67 was the discounted total. That makes no sense. When a customer asks for the price before a service, you give the base price. Discounts are applied at checkout -- that's standard practice everywhere. If the real price was $75, that should have been clearly stated from the beginning. Instead, I was told $67 as if that was the normal total. There was never any mention of a $75 base price or that a discount had supposedly already been applied. You also can't assume someone qualifies for a discount when you don't even know them or their status. At the end of the day, the pricing here is inconsistent and misleading, and it feels like customers are charged based on what staff think they can get away with rather than what's actually listed. Between that and the fact that I wasn't even happy with how my nails turned out, this will definitely be my last visit. I came here since the grand opening, but after this experience it's grand closing for me.

Lisa for starters she was supposed to do pedicure number three and she didn't do no massage for my feet at all and then when I said massage from my feet, she said no she's done, but , my fiancé she got the same one I got and she got a massage that lasted for at least 20 minutes on her feet before she was done which kind of boggled me a little bit because I was like where's my massage I'm supposed to be paying $57 for that and that makes no sense at all and on top of that I've been getting stared at ever since I paid the money for the nails. It's like they wondering what I'm saying over here to yelp they staring at me for some odd reason like I didn't just got done paying $245 I literally had to go sit in my car because I couldn't take them just staring at me for no reason that makes no sense how someone spends $245 and get starred down at and made them feel uncomfortable to where I had to go to my car I'm getting stared down at that's crazy.

They called me picky because I received the worst pedicure ever

I don't like leaving bad reviews and this isn't "bad" but we have decided not to return here. I…read morecame on my birthday as a first time client with my hubby. We both got fantastic pedicures so we came back for a second visit. I made an appointment both times as I am very impatient and don't like waiting. My husband was started on right away but I sat a while. I thought the lady doing his feet was going to do mine but a young man came up and said he was there to "get me started" he took off my polish then another customer came in and he told me he had to take her because she had an appointment??? I had one too! I had TWO appointments my husbands pedi was completed and I'm still sitting there now just soaking in water. I was told my tech had to get medicine and would be there in 5 mins after 15 min Joy took over and did my toes. She knicked my toe and that is always a fear for me when in a nail salon I am a pro cosmetologist and sterilizing is so important. Luckily it was minor. I really expected some sort of compensation for my inconvenience (I wasn't started on for over an hour after my appointment time). Even a small offer of 5% off next time etc but I only got multiple apologies and my pedi came to a whopping $48 because I got gel polish. Maybe if they wouldn't have charged me for the gel I would've been happy but again full price I paid plus a tip so we have decided to go elsewhere and I am sad about it because I carefully chose this place based on other reviews and they were friendly with decent pedicures so I am once again looking for an ideal nail salon and unfortunately because of my experience I could not recommend this nail salon

Joy Nails has terrible service, very bad customer service 1/10 service don't recommendread more
