I went to Nail Fever for the first time and the last time. I am relatively new to the Smyrna area so I've been looking for a new nail salon. I drove by this place and the inside look nice so I decided I'd try it. I received a gel pedi, a takeoff and sns. The ladies who worked on me were very nice. However, that was the most unsanitary place I've ever been to. They did not take out any of the tools on my hands or feet out of new packages. They were all already carried around in their containers. I have never been to a nail salon that didn't do that. I thought that was standard. Also, my cuticle on my finger was cut and it's been sore and in pain ever since. I appreciated her cutting my cuticles because that's not a normal service. But the way my finger hurts I would've rather not have had her do that. Overall, prices were great but it wasn't worth the experience. read more

This pedicure! Whew. I opted for the deluxe pedicure. It included all the basics and hot towels on your legs/feet, 4 minute hot stone massage, leg and feet massage/scrub and lotion for 43 dollars. I added paraffin wax for 7 dollars. It was phenomenal. I've accepted that pedicure prices are on the rise however what I couldn't accept was the declining quality. So while on the prowl for a new spot, I found gold (at least this time). The lady started working right away. She did a good job cleaning my cuticles and clipping my toenails. She cut them square - just how I like them. WITHOUT ASKING!!! She got the ingrown. The massage was the right about of pressure - not the play play. She offered the cheese grater - but I don't like that - but they have it, if you're in to it. They do ask before they use it. The hot stone and hot towels were hot. Honestly my feet were already feeling so soft and looking good, I didn't need the paraffin wax, but I still got it. It was a little too hot, but again ... it's hot wax. My friend has been going to this nail salon for a few years so I decided to join her this past Saturday for a day of Self Care. Theres ample seating in the waiting area and plenty of chairs for nails and pedicures which are very comfy btw! Initially I was going to get a pedi and my nails polished but when I realized the combo was just a dollar more, I opted for that. All the staff was nice. The guy would did my mani did a light massage and i don't believe I got a massage included the pedi. There may be an up charge for that. I remember the days when it was included in the price. He took it a step further and did two of my nails for me to look at to make sure it was what I was looking for. Throughout the process he was very detailed on making sure I liked the shape and length. Cleaned the bottom of my nails. Made sure it was smooth. I had very nice service up until my nail color needed to be fixed. My usual nail guy was visiting family so I got someone who rushed my nails and had to go back a couple days later to get it fixed. I recently visited this nail salon initially for a color change and decided to get a gel pedicure. I have been to multiple places and received pedicures but none as lazy as this one. I'm used to getting lotion applied/massage towards the end. The lady who did my feet slapped some oil on the top of my feet and literally said all done. I then asked for some of the sandals you throw away and this is when things got interesting. After asking for the sandals, she said that because it's gel I don't need them , which I understand and know. She then began speaking to another employee in their native tongue and he told me the same thing. I told him I know I just didn't want to put my converses back on. They then went back to speaking in their language looking and laughing at me. It got to the point that the lady couldn't even hold her composure. They were so bold about it and completely disregarded the fact that I'm a paying customer. While paying for the service the nail tech stood by watching me as I signed the receipt. When she saw that I left no tip she then went back to speaking to the guy nail tech, looking and laughing at me. SN: I've never not left my nail tech a tip. I walked out not feeling good at all. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. Also, to add insult to injury, the polish on my toes didn't last any time before chipping away. I usually get my feet done once a month and they usually still look good. This service barely lasted 2 weeks and that's being generous. I will NEVER go here again read more

I hadn't been to Nail Fever since the pandemic started and decided to give them a try as it was late and I knew they'd be open (they're open until 7 pm). I came in for a pedicure and I was reminded of why I stopped going to Nail Fever after my favorite tec Quan left. The quality of the work done by the tech was horrible. She rushed through my service and my nails are all uneven. A week later the polish on my toes, although I have gone absolutely nowhere, is almost all gone. I was also asked to pay while my feet were drying so that the tech may "go home." When I recieved the receipt to sign, the tech added a 5 dollar tip for herself that I did not authorize and walked away with my copy of the recepit as if I said I didn't want it. I don't mind tipping (and tipping well) when my service is completed right. The audacity of her to add a tip for herself is mind blowing, but I didn't make a fuss about it. I just made a mental note that I would NOT be returning. The establishment is nice and covid regulations are followed but unfortunately due to the lack of quality and the incident mentioned above I will not be back. read more

It's durable, long lasting, and the shape options are perfect for any occasion. I typically get bounce between medium coffin and medium stiletto. Right now, I'm in my stiletto phase and I love it. I am an active woman and before switching to Gel X. I would be in the shop weekly for repairs. Gel X last 3-4 weeks and I don't experience breakage or chipped nails.
