It was my first time here. It was recommended by a co-worker who drives from HB to here to get her nails done. Since I live in the neighborhood, it decided to try it out. I came in without an appointment and they accommodated immediately. I showed them what I wanted, after I sat down, but couldn't do the simple ombré French I wanted as a gel manicure. A little bummed, as my old place was able to do so with gel. Not a big deal, I chose a simple color with a sparkle nail. They are very detail oriented and took their time. I did enjoy that.... but I was cut several times. A total of 3 times. Luckily only 1 time bled a smidge. A little disappointed that I bled. Also, with the time it took, I thought it would flawless, but there are visible bubbles on all but 2 nails. Still debating on going back. Price is reasonable, very nice ladies. Not only was it so easy and convenient to make an appointment, the salon was very clean, and there were many of options to choose from. They have a 24/7 booking system so it's super smooth booking. I took my friends here for manis and pedis. We all had something different done, the super nice employees took the time to explain powder dip vs. gel. Everyone's nails turned out super cute! I went in for a regular manicure. Simple short black nails. The polish must have been old or just horrible quality but my nails were disgusting and bubbly. I messaged the manager with pictures of the nails she was very nice and said come back in I'll take care of you. Here I go again, trusting them to do it right. I went in i they said to pick a different polish but all I want is black. They suggest gel polish since it will last longer and not chip as easily. For $15 more on top of the $19 I had already paid for the nasty first job they did. I agree. But how do I regret that. Now, I am $34 short and with the worst nails ever! This is all in a span of 1 week. The gel only lasted 5 days. To end the story, do not go here their products are not good quality. read more

I was in the neighborhood and decided to get my pedicure done. I searched and found Phoenix Nails & Spa and when I checked it does have great review. I walked in and there was an employee going back and forth however, she didn't even acknowledge me at the door. I was scared and shocked at first however, I told myself that her not acknowledging me while at the door shouldn't bother me so I went ahead and said hello can I get my nails done? After, I said that, she said hello and asked me to write my name on the book. Finally, she has informed me to wait until they are ready to take me. It should have been the other way around, when customers walked in you must acknowledge them, but I didn't say anything to the lady. I said to myself, either she hates her job or have had awful day. While waiting, I was approached by this amazing lady Sylve, and she has informed me she will do my nails. She's kind, very professional and caring. She did amazing job and I left the salon happy. First timer. Recommended by a friend. Paid $75 for gel mani, gel pedi with tip. Place looked clean and sterile. Asked for Cindy and Annie. They both work quietly and diligently. Good attention to detail. I am not a fan of crossing my opposite arm over for them to work on-- it's uncomfortable and takes away from the experience. So, I asked Annie if she would please walk to my other side when it came to the polish application and she did. My only wish is that they both would have put more effort into the massage part of it. The new owner approached me during my pedicure to accuse me of lying about my appointment with my nail Technician Misa. I called on Monday to book an appointment with my regular girl of 2+ years I was given an appointment time of 9am long story short this new owner puts me with someone else and told Misa I requested anyone...not true! But I can not believe that she came up to me and basically called me a liar and a "disrespectful client" when I said nothing to her but the truth. To be approached and confronted in this manner in front of other clients trying to relax is so inappropriate to them and myself. Excellent staff when we walked in we were greeted nicely by the gal at reception and when we got our nails done they were so gentle in cutting we didn't even know they were cutting! The following day I made an appointment to get them done and I couldn't have been happier with the results. Judie and the rest of the techs are perfectionists. I am extremely picky when it comes to my nails and I have never once had to ask them to fix anything. Every single time has been amazing! My manicurist took her time and tried to get the polish as close to my cuticles as possible which was unlike the experience I've had at other salons where they just want to get the polish on but don't care about how it will look in 10 days. I'll definitely be back Update: Came back to have my gel polish swapped out. It started lifting after about 10 days because I'd chosen a color that needed many coats so it was too thick. I was in dire need of a pedicure & I didn't want to drive far. So I found this place through yelp. 10 minutes from my house. I called to see if I could come in & I was able to go in right away. Score! It's a very clean salon & it has a ton of chairs. The employees were courteous & attentive, they were talking amongst one another, so I didn't feel like they were talking about me. We've all been to those salons where you have a feeling they're talking smack about you or another customer. My toes are kind of busted (I haven't gotten my feet done in 2 months, they're a mess -don't judge me) & I didn't have time to shave my legs, I'm sorry! But BELLA was incredibly gentle & attentive. She didn't rush through my pedicure, granted it wasn't busy, I came in on a Wednesday afternoon. However, I don't pay all this money for a 15/20 minute pedicure, ya know? I chose the $35 pedicure (I went fancy. It happens to be my birthday week & I wanted to treat myself. Or else they offer a $22 pedicure that still has nice goodies for your feet.) Oh man, it was bomb! It came with a sugar scrub & a cooling gel mask. She also did really nice massages on the sugar scrub, the cooling gel, putting on the lotion at the end, also scrubbing the callus off my feet. It was all great. I'd definitely come back. They also offered me a stamp card, the 10th stamp you get a free manicure. Holla! I how they continue to offer great service for a decent price, I'll then definitely come back & bring my family. read more
