Frankly, I didn't really know that an esthetician is a skin care and improvement professional! So I was in that camp until seeing a promotion which got me thinking. Upon entering Lauren's spa, she immediately made me feel welcome and relaxed. I walked in not really knowing what to ask for or what she could improve upon. But being outdoors oriented, I've seen plenty of sun. While Lauren's spa is new to Portsmouth, she has years of experience in other parts of the country. All of her equipment is new and state-of-the-art. For me (I'm in my 60's), she suggested an initial focus on sun damaged areas and surface capillaries over two IPL sessions. My skin is now smoother, more vibrant and uniform in color! Thus more youthful. The next phase will be some skin tightening completed over a few sessions.

I was so…read morenervous, but when I came in for the first time the entire staff - like they had known me my whole life and were genuinely excited to see me again, despite never having met me before - greeted me with an enthusiastic, "Hi, Steff!" It felt genuine. It was so warm, like a hug with words. As did the space/waiting room which is so lovely and so inviting. I'm currently working with Christopher May, and he was a joy to talk with. He was so personable; I appreciated how distractingly chatty (in the most engaging and friendly way possible) he was, because it made the experience seem much less painful and much more quick than it probably was. He's got really good energy, and I felt comfortable from the first moment we talked on the phone for my free consultation (and I had endless questions then). It's infrequent these days that your first experience with a business is an immediate success, but I knew from the moment I walked into 207 Laser that I made the right decision. But...
