This is the worst card shop and the worst batch of people I have ever encountered in this hobby. The guys in there spend more time yapping about their casino winnings or fantasy teams than they do trying to help you with anything you may be looking for. Their selection of singles is incredibly mid and overpriced. DO NOT GO HERE TO SELL YOUR CARDS. A few months back I went in with a 2025 Topps Jacob Wilson Gold Holo Foil /50 PSA 9. The head guy in there refused to directly comp my card, he was looking at other variations of Wilson rookie cards and determined my card was worth "maybe $10, but I'd give you $25 to get your money back because you graded it." There was a direct comp in June of '25 of $175. Other card shops I had been to had given me an estimated value of $200. This guy flat out tried to rip me off, wasn't nice about it, didn't even care that he wasn't looking at the right comps. He literally said to me, "we only buy off people that need the cash and that's usually between 40-60% of comps, if you don't want to sell that's fine but the next 5 guys will." HORRIBLE experience. My husband stopped by here about a month ago to get some cards and he spent around $550.00 - I forgot to do a review for him but I'm doing one now. The customer service here was not the best, we have been to plenty of card shops and this one was the worse one honestly. The prices here are more than the average card shops. My husband called the shop maybe 2 weeks ago to see about them possibly buying cards, and the gentleman who picked up the phone was rude and disrespectful right off the bat, he was not customer service oriented. We had a bad experience and we will not be back, we try to support local small businesses but this one we will not return to do so. read more

While in town for some Spring Training baseball, my son was so excited to visit some local card shops. This one was our absolute favorite! The staff working were patient and helpful. The items they had didn't stop at sports cards! They had an enormous amount of sports collectibles too. Like signed baseballs and footballs, signed prints, and lots of entertainment memorabilia like funco pops signed my musicians and television stars! I'm a huge sports fan as well, but seeing all the fun, Mensh and music items they had was a real treat. I even found some great deals on some baseball cards from our local area ! read more

My son and I have probably been to over 100 card shops. Phoenix Sports Cards ranks right up there with the best. First of it is very well organized and clean, kind of an oddity for this type of business. The guys are super friendly and helpful. Tons of jerseys and signatures to be found. For your collecting needs the supplies are all out in the open to see your options. Great prices on binders. The card box sets and individual cards are reasonably and competitively priced. It's a business, I get it, but when your initial sticker price is so high that the 25% sticker deal in that particular case is still overpriced. Cater more to the graded market as well. Overall poor selection of boxes and packs. Unless you like older baseball products they couldn't move at their ridiculous prices. Very little football. Spectra hobby for $1100 on an $800 box is a joke. Feels like they're just here to make the rent money on their vendors cases instead of run a true sports card shop. If you're looking to sell your collection or just graded singles avoid this place like the plague. Will offer you 25% of true value and won't budge. I get it's a tough business, I was expecting to get 50-60% of comps but a 25% lowball with no room of negotiation is lame. It's almost like these rude pompous old men think they're the first ones to discover ebay. Also, for the owners + staff a customer drove to visit your shop. It's not that hard to treat your customers with respect. Don't expect this place to be around much longer. Can't rip off newbies of the hobby forever. Check out AZ Sports Cards or 3D Sports Cards or even take the drive out to The Monster in Queen Creek. Unless searching the 50% off dollar bin is your thing this place isn't for you. First of all customer service is a 10/10 they don't bug you, but they also let you know they know you are there and are ready to help when needed! Next, the selection of amazing WOTC-era cards in the bulk boes was amazing! I got more than 80 cards in one trip and the value was on point, pulled a good chunk of the first 151 Pokemon including Fossil, jungle, base, and Gym Challenge, amazing stuff! Been going here ever since I got into the hobby because it was closest to me. Unfortunately the customer service absolutely blows. I am sorry but based off the other reviews I've seen on here I am not the only one who understands what I am talking about. It's a shame the only card shop in the area is like this. Let me start with the pros: there a couple of guys that work there that have great customer service, the guy with the long hair/ponytail has a big case I usually buy once a month for $40 which is a lot of fun with some cool goodies in it. The other guy that seems to have a lot of knowledge is always trying to find deals for you, and will work with you on pricing in most cases. They have a lot of cool stuff, fair prices, and you can really spend a lot of time here looking for cards to complete your collections. I guess there's only one con, but sadly, it'll keep me from going back. There's a staff member here who is extremely rude, always seems to be bothered, and generally should not be in a customer facing profession. He's an older gentlemen, all white hair and white mustache with glasses. I'm calling him out there Because he is very rude. Yesterday as I was looking at one of the cases he came over and acted as if he was asking me if I had found anything yet. I joked and said "too much". It got super awkward as he came within 3 ft of me and stayed there until I felt uncomfortable enough to check out with the items I had. Total jerk move and I necessary.. I have zero indications I was trying to damage or steal anything, but I was followed like head some mall cop or something. I'm being as detailed as possible as it happened yesterday (4/9), and wanted it fresh in my mind. This is the second time in a row this old man has done this with me, makes the experience very uncomfortable. I drive 28 miles to this location, but have another shop I can go to that is closer, so that is what I will be doing from here on out.. hope the owners had an opportunity to review this message and take some sort of a ruin and I'm 100% sure I'm Not the only one he does this too read more

Fantastic selection of cards and collectibles at Phoenix Sports Cards. I haven't seen Garbage Pail cards since elementary school. Thousands of baseball and baseball cards are on display in large display cases and in boxes. You'll find dozens of signed jerseys, helmets, hockey pucks and more. They have a large table in the center where you can pull up stool and hang with friends while you buy, trade and sell. One could literally spend hours here looking through the inventory. Today they had a special event and drawing for several items including a signed Mike Tyson boxing glove. Unfortunately I didn't win but still had a blast talking to other collectors and the knowledgeable employees. If you're looking for a special card they most likely will have it or fjnd it for you. read more

Sucks this is the only shop in the area that I know of. You better be ready to put your headphones in and mind your own business. They could care less if youre there or not. Been here multiple times over the past year or so and the service hasnt changed sadly. I asked where they kept football cards, preferably Raiders if there was a certain section, And the younger dbag scoffed and made me feel stupid for even asking. Hello I just went to look for the latest issues of basaball cards with Opening Day tommorow. This is absolutely the last place you should go to look for of hobby needs. Any questions that are asked are answered in only an aggressive nature and seemed frustrated even when the simplest questions are asked. I shared that he was horrible at customer service and he literally asked me to go outside. I swear this just happened. Please DO NOT brings your kids to this location. Browsed for a few minutes & the 3 employees seemed to be more interested in their tablets than asking if we needed help with anything. I like to checkout local card shops with my girlfriend when on trips, as we are not from Phoenix. I thoroughly enjoyed the singles the store had at my time of being there, and bought a card. But, in agreement with other reviews, customer service was horrendous. I asked if there was room on a card, was given a number and said no thank you. Then overheard an employee talking to his coworker about how "I needed to make an offer" and somewhat talking down on my negotiating in quite a negative connotation. Made an offer and the manager accepted, and he then apologized after I explained how I would not be a first timer in a shop making lowball offers, as I believe that to be disrespectful. I'll barter tooth and nail with my locals who know me by first name, but in unfamiliar shops, no chance. All in all, I liked the product, and appreciated the apology I received. At the end of the day, if I were in Phoenix I would give this shop another chance, but my girlfriend was not at all pleased with the way I was spoken to. read more

I walked in for the first time and MAN what a well organized store. Clean. The whole nine. Everything was impressive, until the younger guy behind the counter opened his mouth. I had a redemption card that was valuable not only to me but other collectors. When asking him about it he proceeded to tell me how the card was basically worthless and if I redeemed it I would never get the card because the player would never sign it for panini. Made me feel stupid. I'll never return, and neither will anyone in my network. He was one of those "know it all's" that doesn't know much. read more
