Seller's beware. If you don't know your products really well you will get absolutely hosed here. They claim to use E-bay sold listings as their pricing point, but after selling them several items they raised the prices exponentially. Should have walked away, so no one but myself to blame, but don't fall for the friendly neighborhood store facade, it's cut-throat. No transparency on their offering whatsoever. They gave me basically a 32% offer on a lot of products easily worth 1000. Should have walked away, but I didn't, don't make my same mistake, sell it on E-bay, and buy what you are looking for on E-Bay, prices are better both ways. read more

I came here recently since this was the closest card shop to me, and I've been really wanting to purchase some cards for my pokemon binder, I came in and off the bat there was a somewhat long line to sell things, which I thought was fine, but what bothered me is that the area where they buy things from people is also directly behind the case of pokemon cards, so you literally can't even see what's inside the case available for purchase since there's always people in front of it, the binders they had off to the side where extremely empty and i was hoping to see some binders with full arts at least under $20 but didn't see any full art binders, just extremely empty ex binders and again a display case that you couldn't even look at. I was honestly really disappointed by the selection, by the fact that i drove 16 minutes, and that it was my first time coming to a card shop. The customer service was decent and the employees seemed nice enough. Prices for single cards didn't seem terrible but also I couldn't really tell since again the case was crowded by sellers and I was in the store for over 35 minutes and only got a glance at what was in the case. I'm hoping I just caught them at a time where they hadn't restocked but idk if i'd come here again read more

IF It wasn't bad enough paying the overly high prices for the items that they have it gets really bad trying to sell them anything. I can definitely not recommend selling to this business as they low-ball you to the extreme. They use excuses about how long it may take to resell the items you have but this is true for most of the items that they have in stock. I mean, come on, it's a collectables store! After today's experience I don't see myself returning there to buy or sell. I used to look online for various items (like model kits, etc.) and once I found something I wanted I'd drive over to Collector's Marketplace to see if they had it in stock first. You know, trying to support local business. I spent literally thousands that way. I'm afraid those days are over. read more

I've been frequenting this place for years and they recently moved locations , They are limited on parking but if your a collector of almost anything this place carries it from cards to toys to anime and everything in between . Like everything some things are way over priced but you can find some good deals on some stuff so it's definitely worth your time to stop by and check out there store , I always try and stop in atleast every couple months just to atleast browse around. read more

Seriously impressive collection of games, legos, toys, various trading cards, funko pops, figures, etc. You name it and they have it! The store has moved to a nicer store and while it's great inside, it's on a super busy corner, which makes turning into the complex difficult. There is also very limited parking. Everyone I've encountered has been super nice, welcoming, and helpful. My biggest issue here is the price. I've visited the new store twice now. The first, I was interested in a sealed figure that was priced at $149. I went online and was able to find that same figure for $80 brand new, so I bought online. Today was my second visit and I was visiting their Pokémon card section, which is really nice. Tons of single cards and some high end slabs. My issue is how these cards are priced which is WAY over what they are worth. I tried to ask for closer to market value on a card that the employee stated was LP that was honestly much closer to MP. The edges and corners were pretty rough. I could have bought a better quality card for less right there off eBay. I tried to negotiate but there was minimal wiggle room. Impressive stuff with a steep price tag. I realize stores have to make money too, but when you can't come down to at least market price, you might be better off online. read more

Wow...can I just say that this store is so awesome that it's overwhelming thinking of how to give it justice in a review. We like to collect things. We're antique-ers. We're nerdy collectors. We collect mustache cups. We collect action figures. I mean, you name it... So, when our family invited us to visit them near Phoenix, I started my usual routine of collecting and researching all the hip places to visit in Arizona. I still have several things we didn't have time to see, but that's beside the point... Sooo, TOYS. I knew this had to be top of the list. It's the first place we visited upon entering Phoenix. I was thinking okay, been to one collectible shop, been to them all (right?) Wrong-o. This place is massive. Like, it's a reason to visit this city, if nothing else. It's almost like a toy collectors museum, but you get to buy the cool stuff. I'm so passionate about visiting this place that I don't even want to read the other reviews. I don't want anyone else to sway my experience. I still follow them on social media at collectorsmarketplace just to see what new stuff they get!! I will post a picture of what we purchased. I discovered this place a few weeks ago and have been coming in like every weekend. Every time I come in I discover something new. This place is GIGANTIC and has so much cool stuff from all different genres. I personally only care about Voltron and Turtles. I have purchased 4 different Voltrons over the last few weekends, some staples and some hard to find sets. I cannot wait until I can come back and spend more money. A decent stop with many different kinds of things on offer -- cards, games, statues, anime, western animation, action figures, the list goes on. We liked the new location, the layout, and the diverse selection had us looking a while. We found a few well priced games and a small handful of cards that were on my party's want list, and were in and out in a flash. Collectors Marketplace is the place to go if you love collecting pop culture collectibles in between attending toy shows or shopping online. They do accept trade for store credit. There were a MASS ton of Funko Pops. There are also Anime, Star Wars, tons of PVC figures, Marvel, WWE, Halloween horror, stuffed animals, and more. Some video games. There are both NRFB and pre-owned loose figures. Vintage and current. As you enter the store, you encounter piles of boxes overflowing with toy collectibles. There is a lot to see down the aisles and throughout the store. Every nook and cranny is filled with toy collectibles. A HUGE massive selection! It's also very cluttered and dusty... Prices were fair "market price", depending on what you are hunting for. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Customers too! Parking is very limited. Worth the drive! read more

Updating my review, this place seems to be going a little downhill. For me personally I am a anime fan and I have been collecting figures for a while, I used to come here to get prize figures all the time and have spent thousands, but their prize selection though big, is basically always the same. I Was scammed by getting a tanjiro grandista prize figure for $80 because the employee said the figure was not being made anymore and I fell for it. Came back a year later and the same figure was being sold for under $40... I was very upset. A lot of their prize figures are reasonably priced except the pop up parades which are $60, they are originally around $35 on goodsmile. Also their scale figures are over priced and not labeled as so, they don't even let you know what is preowned. I bought a over priced nendoroid just to get home and find out the seal was broken and the nendoroid was sticky. I was highly disappointed. It looked fine but when I told the employee I wanted it he didn't even let me look long and took it to the front, and couldn't get it till I paid. This was my favorite store but I seem to be coming less and less, and did I mention how HOT it is in this store? Definitely uncomfortable to shop in the summer. read more

It's summer and my kid was bored, we were going to be in the area so we stopped to kill some time! First I have to say I'm not much into comics or collectibles and I usually hurry him along, not today! This place is awesome! Was greeted upon entering and was given a little background on how there are multiple vendors. Some of stuff is priced really well and some is expensive in my book, but again I'm not much into this type of thing and one mans junk is another mans treasure. After about 45 minutes or so (and we only browsed in about half of the cases) my son had suckered me into buying a Fallout figurine. If you have older kids and need to waste some time on the cheap this is the place for you! read more

Bought an expensive figure that was advertised, in its box, as new only to bring it home and open it up to find it broken and covered in dust. Turns out it was a display that was not marked as a display and was priced as an unboxed, new figure. It was also missing pieces and after trying to repair the broken parts, it just fell apart. I will never return to this store and highly recommend you don't waste a penny here. read more

I found this place online and read their website stating "We need your stuff! We pay the most because we sell the most! We beat all offers!" ... before deciding to drive all the way down from northern AZ (about 2.5 hours) to sell my entire 90s toy collection that included 5 working tamagotchis, (worth over $350), original Pokémon cards, still in the bag retro McDonald's toys, N64 boxed Zelda games, video games, popular figures, POPs, etc..stuff well worth over $2,000 as there was quite a lot of it and I've done my research on their worth beforehand (because momma didn't raise no fool! ) When I got there, no one was at the selling counter, so the cashier politely offered to look at my stuff. He said he'd only need 20 minutes...? I thought this odd as there were quite a bit of things and I thought it would take much longer but figured he's the expert and knows things value/worth so he doesn't need longer time.. Anyway I looked around the store for about 30 mins and when I got back to him (telling myself I'd take no less than $500...he Gives me an INSULTING offer of "$15 in cash or $20 in store credit" WHAT!!!!!!??!??? One of the items in my bag they had another of for sale in the store for over $30?! I was so incredibly insulted.. I felt cheated and the advertisement of "we pay the most for your things" was a massive lie. Look, I understand business and that they weren't going to offer me even half the value BUT $15? That wasn't even worth the gas to drive all the way down there!!!!! It was not okay and I politely thanked the man for his time and declined that silly amount and left....waste of time sadly.. and pretty insulting. Great selection of Anime, Funko pop, and Hot Wheels. Limited selection of other genres and miscellaneous series, worlds etc.... Conveniently located off the freeway on Indian School. They take trade ins and buy; which is what makes this store cool. On any given day, you never know what you might find. This was my first time and it was refreshing to find a new collectibles store until... This young store clerk starting organizing products all around me interfering with my shopping. I asked what he was doing he said, and I quote "people don't but things back in the order they find them". He seemed really bothered by it. It was rude that he did that on the specific shelf I was browsing. Felt very aggressive and not necessary to complain to a customer about other customers. I wish I got his name. Anyway, The gentlemen named Red at the counter was very helpful and respectful. He was nice enough to pull a couple of collectibles for me from the "DO NOT TOUCH SHELF". I appreciate his knowledge about the products, store processes for buying and trading. This store is big and certainly lots to browse. The young staff could use some customer appreciation training. 3 stars because i did not feel welcomed and certainly not appreciated. And because I found a hard to find item at a decent price with no shipping. Lol. Enjoy your visit if you collect toys. read more

They have a extremely wide collection of all of the popular genres: Star Wars, Funko Pop figures, Disney, GI joe, Aliens, Godzilla, Anime, Jurassic Park, Transformers, Pokémon, He-man, as well classic & vintage collector items. I would describe this place as a pop culture convention meets antique toy fair. The store is a busy mashup of toys, manga, video games, comics and pop culture. If you are looking for old opened 80s and 90s action figures and memorabilia; this is the place for you. They also have a large room full of pops. Comics are limited to older back issues and some keys; no new books or supplies that I could easily find. Prices vary based on rarity. I rate them down because the clutter, narrow walkways and traffic makes it difficult to walk around. I also see a lot of dust on multiple displays. The front parking lot is very tiny, so try to come during off hours or be prepared to park around the corner off-site. This place could be a gem for a pop culture collector; its worth a visit every now and then, but I wouldn't frequent it. read more

Man I love this place! How can you not? They have collectibles of just about everything imaginable: Transformers, Thundercats, Robocop, Loony Tunes, Disney, Funko, Star Trek, Star Wars, video games, anime, horror movies, GI Joe, Hot Wheels... The list goes on. My only minor gripe is that on busy days it can feel a little claustrophobic since the aisles are kind of narrow. Also (for purely understandable reasons of course), they now have about 50% to 75% of the items in glass cases so you have to flag employees down to open them. The good thing is they'll hold the items for you at the register so you won't have to lug that 4 foot tall Godzilla or life-size Child's Play Chucky doll you always wanted with you. LOL If I could, I'd probably buy everything in the entire store! read more

My family and I love this place. It's a bit of a drive from where we live but it's worth going there. My kid got so into anime that she looks forward to going here to pick up new figures to add to her collection all the time. They have a wide, wide selection of different collectibles, action figures, funko pops, memorabilia etc. Definitely worth checking out. Staff is pretty nice too. The place itself is a bit cramped inside so that's something to consider because of the pandemic and the parking can be an issue too. But it's still worth going to. read more

This is a great place to find hidden treasures if your looking for vintage toys, comics or collectibles. We happened to be at their annual toy convention (Arizona Toy Con) in downtown Glendale several years ago and every year since and decided to check out the store. I was amazed at all of the items that the different vendors had. There is something for everyone here. The staff are made up of different vendors whom have their own stock set up which makes it have a flea market feel. However all of the staff I have conversed with have been friendly and helpful. On the downside parking for the building is small as there is not a very large parking lot and the building could be driven by if you weren't looking for it (Unless you notice the fantastic murals on the outside of the building). As the sign in front is not the largest. Overall though for me it is a great place to look for older comics, vintage video games, collectable toys and many other items for the collector at a reasonable price. Check them out at 1945 E. Indian School Rd. And you may find what you couldnt before. read more
