Edit: HARASSMENT! (With PROOF) This business is harassing me on social media because of my 1 star review! I attached a SCREEN RECORDING and screenshots for proof! This happened just hours after I posted the negative reviews on google and yelp. Account harassing me: IG username: marleneespacio Only following ONE PERSON... phone factory! Commenting heinous and disturbing messages under my IG photos! SCREEN GLITCH PROOF ATTACHED. Pay very close attention to the screen recordings. I slowed them wayyyy down so you can see how when I press a letter (which becomes dark upon pressing), and what pops up in the text box doesn't always match. What you press on my screen does not register and acts like you pressed somewhere else entirely, or duplicates your action. I also screen recorded the capcut editing app unable to function and scroll, rather spastically twitches and becomes unresponsive to my touch. These are just examples of what I'm experiencing with my phone screen as a whole. Original Review: Dishonest, scammer business. I had a terrible experience here. I came in with a cracked iPhone screen and was offered a $150 aftermarket screen replacement. After the replacement, the phone screen seemed to work fine initially, but later that afternoon my phone started glitching--bright fuzzy screen flashes, lagging, texting and scrolling issues and unresponsive apps. It became nearly unusable off and on. My entire life and career is in my phone, being that I'm a content creator and commercial realtor. It has made my work extremely difficult and frustrating. I purchased on a Saturday, Sunday they were closed, and I called them Monday to address the issue. Phone Factory acted angry and defensive with me (and even YELLED), like I have an ulterior motive and am causing them problems although I benefit NOTHING from returning a defective phone screen?? I still have to purchase a new screen..... it's not my fault the phone screen is defective... this is basic customer service. I was told there was a 30-day warranty on my purchased screen at time of purchase, but when I called, Sam lied to me and told me there was only a 2-day warranty and I couldn't bring it in although I was originally told 30 days. Then the manager later confirmed it was a 30 day warranty after all. I wanted to email screen recording proof of the glitching to the manager, but he refused and said I had to come in person. I explained to him it's a 2-hour drive round trip and I rather not drive all the way out there to show him screen recordings unless we also reach an agreement so I can also switch the screen if I'm to drive all the way there. I felt he was making it unnecessarily difficult. They offered to apply the $150 toward an original Apple screen, but refused any kind of exchange, return, or warranty on the new screen. I felt uncomfortable purchasing another phone screen from them without an exchange or return warranty after I already purchased a defective phone screen from them and have been treated cruelly over a PHONE SCREEN. I said, "I must have an exchange or return option on the new Apple screen, which shouldn't be a problem since it will be a quality screen, right?" He refused. Now, I have to eat the $150 I spent on this after-market screen and go pay full price for a new Apple screen because I won't buy another phone screen without a warranty from this business. I'm completely disappointed by the lack of transparency, poor product quality, and customer service. Save your money and go somewhere reputable. I now have to pay even more to fix what they messed up. There is good reason why they don't get much business. Don't risk it. If you have any issues they will treat you terribly. read more

I was referred to Phone Factory in Federal Way from another highly rated phone repair company and so glad I took their advice and went. I needed a complete screen replacement on my Samsung Galaxy A32 to which the first place I went to said they would have to order out the part(s) direct from Samsung to which it would be a week & a half to 2 weeks depending on when they would get the parts. I didn't have that much time to wait being my phone was my only means of communication to my drivers ,family,etc... not to mention everybody's numbers that are stored in it. So,I went in to Phone Factory and was greeted by a friendly person (I wish I had remembered his name). He looked at my phone quickly went in the back saw they had it in stock so he told me to come back in an hour and would be good to go. Complete scam. Was charged over 100$ to repair the screen on my husband's old ipod because it was cracked. The ipod itself worked fine. When we picked it up today, they said they fixed the screen but there was another issue that needed to be fixed and claimed the battery was now bad. We decided to do our own research and upon closer inspection we saw that it no longer worked, but the screen itself wasn't even put on properly AT ALL. The front button turns freely and you can see that the screen is popped up on the top like it isn't seated correctly. I would have passed the battery suddenly having problems as a coincidence, because ipods are old, it could happen, but the screen not even being put on correctly is ridiculous. read more

When the new screen started glitching they replaced it free of charge. They also gave me a free case to protect it, and found a small screw to repair my headphones! Took my daughters iPad here to get fixed. The headphone post had broken off inside the headphone port. They quoted be $89 to remove the post from the port. After picking up the iPad from the store. (haven't even left the store yet) They told me that the volume up button was stuck in (which was not when I brought it in). I also noticed a glue substance On the inside of the screen. When I asked about both issues the gentleman admitted that they had left glue on the inside of the screen and they refused to fix it. If I wanted it fixed I'd have to pay for a new screen. As far as Xbox repair goes.. I had the worse experience.. brought in on a Saturday to get looked at. Called back same day saying its not chip or hdmi but the hard drive is bad & would be done that day if not then the next.. call them for ETA the following day.. they tell me it wasn't started yet & now they are waiting on chip & hard drive part.. but told me nothings wrong with the chip? Anyway they tell me it'll be done Tuesday.. that day comes around i call late afternoon, they tell me the guy that does xbox repairs is out for 2 days so Thursday now.. i call Thursday, they tell me its not fixable because now its the motherboard?! but tell me they know a guy thats home based can fix it but it will take about 3 weeks.. yeah no i said pack it up, ill come get it. So they said pick it up friday. I go in to pick up, i had to wait about an hour, just for them to tell me oh it works now? So i take it home plug it in.. wont connect to any network.. they i bring it back same day im there for another hour & half.. guy says oh not sure why its not working but we'll issue a refund. Cool, got it brought it home. Went to put it away, screws fall out.. i slide the cover open im missing 80 percent of screws and no hard drive.. not even the old one i brought it in with. I go back they give me replacement screws & i get home those dont fit.. when i originally brought in my Xbox it would turn on.. after leaving it with this place my xbox is now missing screws & no longer turns on. Its like they damaged more than what it was when i brought it in. No apologies nothing. Dont recommend. read more
