There are actually people on the other side that you can deal with right there and now. I was a usfamily.net customer for my email and internet for YEARS and then they joined up with Velocity. Still great service (I don't have a landline ...just the internet at home). I would have given them 5 stars because I am not sure if it is my computer, modem or them but my internet is not all that fast....I wish it was but I don't need it all that much at home when I have it here at work. I highly recommend them for service. They have always been sincere and helpful. Even with my Mom...if she ever had issues they were very patient with her. :) and solved her problems.

While friends of mine have "free" email (gmail, etc) they're plagued with spam. USFAMILY beautifully filters enormous amounts of it. I can still view it if I choose, and when I do view it, I'm always blown away how much crap they've save me from. The very few times I've needed assistance, a live person is ready and willing and solves my issues quickly. Definitely worth the few dollars it costs me per year!

The person on the phone said he would be happy to look into it but had no guarantee that it was repairable so I said I would be there shortly and they took a look at it and went to work in the meantime they checked into a new replacement not only did they repair the one that I have but they also quoted me a price way below what the original manufacturer quoted me if I ever have another problem that is in the scope of services they offer they are going to be getting a call from me I just can't say enough good things about the way they hooked me up these people are the next level of professionals
