After one month and a week (literally went across the world and came back in this time), I was told I could pick up my computer, but there was still damage to the front screen and side (glue on my computer screen)?? Joe said he was not aware the screen detached, as if he did not check his work before returning it, but told me I could bring my computer back for free as if that made sense. I can only explain this as child's play. I miss when people took pride in their work. I would refer you to Best Buy for another laptop.

However when I went today to pick up my system it did not come with the extra cables that came with the brand new power supply I paid for as well as the power cable. I was more focused on finally getting my working pc home and forgot to ask at the shop. So I called a few hours later to be told they threw away all the extra cables. Guess the power cable isn't need huh? This is grossly negligent. I don't see how a repair shop would just throw away perfectly fine cables, especially when they belong to a customer. This review would have been 5 stars, actually, I don't use yelp so this review would have never existed if this shop just didn't "throw away" my cables. Edit (IMPORTANT): I'm going to leave my original review mostly unedited because I feel like I should. I got a call today saying they found the box with my extra cables including the kettle cable that powers my psu. I went and picked it up and had no problems. To clarify, the repair job itself seems to have gone perfectly. It was being told that my cables were thrown away before I had even come to pick up my pc that irked me. I think communication could be improved, such as asking the customer if they would like to keep extra cables and accessories or not. And at the very least you should be giving customers who buy a psu for repair, their kettle cables so their system can actually power on.
