My phones audio went out and I needed an adapter to go from a Micro SIM to a Standard SIM to use my old phone. I've been aware of this shop for quite some time as I've been shopping in that Von's shopping center for years. I haven't had any problem with my cell phones until today. My droid died (dead battery, wouldn't take a charge). I checked their yelp reviews and figured I'd give them a try. Jason lived up to the reviews. Incredibly friendly, personable, service. Took care of me quickly, replacing my battery and cleaning my phone. I was in and out in just a few minutes. I was glad that I could buy the parts reasonably at a store instead of having to buy it online and wait a couple of days for it to arrive. I'm looking forward to having them repair my wife's i-phone which has a cracked screen. Jason quoted a price far less than the apple store (go figure). After my 15 year old daughter dropped her iPhone 6 in some shallow waves at the beach, we were so distraught, knowing that the phone would likely very quickly corrode or short out and die. We were pleasantly surprised that the phone kept working while we raced over to Phone Zone, all the while hoping against hope that they could save it. To our amazement and delight, THEY SAVED THE PHONE! They had the phone 1 hour after it hit the saltwater, and kept it for just 24 hours while they cleaned it and dried it out. So....first off I was very bitter entering this place. Knowing I had to pay $89 plus tax just to fix my screen on my iPhone 6. But hey, who else to blame but myself. I got $80 for a cracked screen broken iPhone 5, they hooked up a case that costs $50 and gave me a gorilla proof glass thingy as well just for going in there. These guys rock, I don't know how they make money because they just hooked me up! read more
