My son discovered the swollen battery in my IPhone X. I never even noticed. I called Apple on a Saturday and they scheduled me for the next available appointment for the following Saturday. And they told me not to use my phone. What? I can't go without a phone for a week. So, I went without my phone on Sunday and my son told me to try this place on Monday. I called on Monday and Michael told me to bring it in. He was very courteous and he quoted me the same price as Apple. I went next door and did some grocery shopping. By the time I was done, so was my phone. He did explain to me that my screen was a little bent from the expansion of the battery but he put it back the best he could and I may end up needing a new screen in the future. It was the worker Jack come to rescue my crushed microsoft surface pro. I was so desperate because I have not save my file almost a year before it crushed while tryin to reset to previous point. Mike picked up on the first ring and was very helpful. I was at the store 5 minutes later and a very polite and knowledgeable Mike helped me out. He cleaned out my port free of charge with a smile. This is the kind of place and service that deserves my business. I was I need of a new screen protector and Mike expertly installed one for me which comes with a great warranty. I have an i-pad that is always in a case. The screen cracked recently and since it's a sentimental item that belonged to my mother, I paid $100 to replace the screen as it still worked great. This store was very fast in turning this around (same day), which I appreciated. I ordered a screen protector so to prevent this from happening again. I put the screen protector on and placed it back in the case. Since replacing the screen and putting on the screen protector, the i-pad hasn't left my bedroom. So imagine my surprise when I find a new crack in the screen that I just had replaced. The screen protector is not cracked, just the glass. It makes no sense that within a couple of weeks of having the glass replaced, and while the device was in a case and with a screen protector, it's barely been used and it literally hasn't moved except from a bed to a nightstand, that this new screen cracked. I called to see if the repair is under warranty because nothing else makes sense as to why it's damaged. I was basically told I am shit out of luck. Personally, I believe either the glass they installed was defective or my mother is trying to send me a message (she's deceased). In either event, very frustrating. I text him the problem along with photos, he provided me with a reasonable quote and I was asked to bring it in tomorrow morning. I needed a repair for my cracks on both the front and back of my Samsung Galaxy S9+. I found this shop by a simple Google search and could not be happier with them. Not only were the parts in stock, but he even had the color I preferred as well! The price was beyond reasonable. The service was very fast. Most importantly, to me personally, was the fact that I cannot wear a face mask for medical reasons and while the owner had his on, the signs on the door requested masks, another customer had his mask on... there was no negative response towards me at all, which I believe is how it should be. That really left a positive imprint on me because more often than not businesses will scold, cause a scene, lecture or demand answers about why I cannot wear a mask. That is frustrating and embarrassing and makes me not ever want to return to that store.
