I am a senior lady who doesn't really know about cell phones. I got one of those free senior government program phones free Moto G Pure. I use it to watch videos while I eat at an Asian Buffet alone. I couldn't hear, so my friend bought me wired earbuds that plug into the C port. But I told him I wanted it to plug into the 3.5 mm port so I could charge my phone at the same time. But when I received the 3.5mm jack same brand and model, the sound was far inferior to the C port one, it was really useless. So the vendor sent another 3.5mm one, and it was the same inferior sound, compared to the C port ones that was really LOUD! . So I called various phone repair stores to ask if most all 3.5mm products are going to be inferior in performance to the same thing plugged into the C port. The stores that answered the phone with live voice all said yes C port is more modern and more efficient. But Josh went into great detail about telling me about Bluetooth earbuds and how they work. He told me how you put the earbuds into the battery case the size of a TicTac box and how much battery life you can get out of both. I saved this review for a year. I had it at five stars and now it is 1 (only because I cannot put zero). The (iPhone) batteries they source are programmed to crap out after a year. Dec 5, 2023 I replaced my battery with them on my iPhone. One year later on, literally Dec 5, 2024, the replaced battery from Konnect phone craps out on my second phone. (Mind you, this is my SPARE iPhone which is used minimally.) I called to see why the batteries literally kaput after a YEAR TO THE DAY and allegedly this is standard business practice for them and I would need to "buy a new battery". I had a phone emergency where I did not feel like/wasn't ready shelling out a thousand bucks for a brand new phone. What emergency you say? My rear camera got damaged. Why? Well, I made the brilliant move of taking my phone into the steam room at the gym then subsequently keeping it in my pocket while I showered for the jacuzzi. Didn't think much of it since this has happened at least 2 or 3 times before. Water resistant? Not very much apparently since it wasn't exposed or submerged at all. Time for a new phone. Wait. Not so fast.. These guys can get you back on track in a flash. Don't get me wrong, I just do not want to make a hasty decision or purchase that I would regret. So I went the cheapest route after making a few phone calls and getting estimates over the phone. The guy told me to come down and right away he knew the home button was acting up and of course the camera did not work and lo and behold he had a camera in stock! He had to juggle some other customers too and I was super impressed with his abilities, consulting and fixing the issue. I was back up and running in an hour for only $60 parts and labor! A screaming deal when especially in need. I also probed the guy for a bunch of info on phone glitches and what not. What models are worthy, etc. I use iPhone because I have always had them and have a Mac mini and older MacBook too so they work best together for me.
