Terrible experience at PhoneFixIt. I brought my iphone in about three weeks ago with a crack that I needed repaired. I had a coupon for 20%, which seemed like a great deal. The man handling my repair was nice enough and told me to come back and pick it up in an hour. When I returned 3 hrs later he asked me to be patient and that he was going to do it now. Already a bad sign, but I assumed he was just busy. Waited an additional 20 mins for him to then tell me that the sound on my phone when I make a call had not come back, but that it would return with a day or two. He also calculated a price that was not the clearly marked 20% off coupon, and I had to correct his error at which point he said he was "surprised" that I could do the math... Fast forward a few days and my sound had not returned. Unfortunately I don't live in the immediate area but I noticed the receipt said that the labor was guaranteed for 60 days. Within another week despite having a screen protector and a case on the phone, it cracked again. Clearly the job was not done well. When I returned to the store to fix the crack and have him repair the sound that I did not have for 3 weeks I was told that it was not his problem that my screen cracked again and I would have to pay for it. Despite the receipt stating that all labor costs were under warranty. Despite the inconvenience of not having sound for 3 weeks. I was also told that he "did not believe" that my sound did not work and that I was just using this as a ploy for him to fix my screen. So you think your customers are lying to you? That's a great way to keep them around... A truly terrible experience. Just really goes to show that this place does not value customer experience in the slightest. Be wary and take your phone somewhere else that will take better care of you. read more
