Instead, the process dragged on for months. During that time, I had to constantly reach out for updates because I was almost never contacted first. Between text messages and more than 20 phone calls, I was repeatedly given new completion dates that were never met. Almost every conversation ended with another reason for the delay--whether it was recovery errors, replacement chips, syncing devices, transfer issues, emergency closures, waiting on parts, or being told it would be finished "tomorrow," "in a few hours," or "in a couple more days." Unfortunately, those promises kept getting pushed back. I understand that data recovery is complex and that unexpected problems can happen. My frustration isn't that the recovery was difficult--it's the lack of honest communication and realistic expectations. If the job was going to take months, I would have appreciated being told that from the beginning instead of repeatedly hearing that it was almost finished. I spent months following up through texts and over 20 phone calls, often being told I'd receive a callback that never came. I even rearranged my schedule multiple times to pick up the drive, only to find out it still wasn't ready. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business. They said they had to do a hard re-set that they failed to do when we picked up the phone. After about 2 weeks with the 17 air, i started getting notices that my screen wasn't recognized as an apple screen so it didn't want to auto open with facial recognition. About a week later, i had 2 solid white lines going vertically down my screen. The screen was no sign of damage so the only explanation is their screen replacement. I took my phone back to them and they said all they could do is give me a discount to fix the screen after i paid them $250 the first time. DON'T go to them. Upon picking up my phone the final time and reassured it was fixed for sure this time, I again asked if it is not can you honor a partial refund (he just said it is fixed for sure this time) Well......my phone was basically broke! As soon as I took it home and started using it consistantly the heat was back with a vengeance and my cellphone screen looked like the matrix! Phone was unresponsive from the overheating and just gave out. I ended up having to get a new phone after spending over 200 bucks for him to basically break my phone! My phone was functioning fine when I took it in (just slight shadowing on my screen, but phone was working perfectly) Be careful he does not honor his work, if you can't fix a phone after 4-5 tries you should at least offer some type of refund.
