Desinfectant was at the door, spots on the floors were there to help with physical distancing and the 2 ladies that were working were super welcoming and also very surprised that I was the 9th customer coming for the exact same picture, I guess everybody took this time off to update their paperwork. As someone who was just getting into film, I wasn't ready to spend upwards of $700 on a camera. We found this shop on Google and decided to stop in. It's a small spot, filled with cameras and equipment. There was one other girl there grabbing more film. We didn't catch the guys name but I'm assuming he was the owner. He was very sweet and helpful from the minute we came in. I didn't know what I was looking for so he asked some questions, what did I want to take pictures of, stuff like that, and then pulled out three cameras. He walked me one by one through what the differences are of each. I ended up going with a Minolta SRT-201. He showed me how to shoot for different lighting, and how to put the film in. It was very reasonably priced. I got the camera and two lenses for $275. He told us we can come back to get the film developed and we can pick up physical prints or he can email it to us. He clearly loved what he did and wanted to share that passion.

The bad for me is what made me not give a store a five-star review. In fact, l might be generous with four as l am a card game fan (Munchkin, etc.), but they are so rare there. And the staff asking if you need help every five minutes is truly annoying (and afterwards looking at you from a distance).
