Check your bill!! I have gone twice in the last month and had issues both times. They advertise happy hour deals but it does not ring up right in their system. The first time it took the manager almost 20minutes to correct our bill. The server was very nice and said he was giving us an extra discount. He gave us an extra $1.... The second time was much quicker but clearly an issue with their POS system OR staff training OR they need to reprint the HH menus. Happy hour deals are good and the outside patio on the water is nice. Live music was also great! The only food we thought was good was the wings. Grouper Dinner was sad for the price. Fish Tacos were like gringo tacos. The side mango salsa was not enough. Wedge Salad had too much dressing would recommend getting it on the side. read more

A cool place that our friends Jamie and Skylar had been to on their Explorcation YouTube channel and we got the chance to stop by tonight! Now these folks even have their own version of the Southernmost Buoy out front (picture below. I started off with the Hot Crab Dip with Tortilla Chips as suggested by our great server Brianna and was very surprised at just how good it was! The Blackened Grouper Sandwich was a little on the "fishy" side of the spectrum as compared to other recent Grouper I've had down here but I used a little of the Mango Salsa that Terri wasn't using on her Grilled Chicken Tacos along with the tartar sauce that was brought out and that made the difference. I also put alot of the Mango Salsa in with the coleslaw (which was good to begin with) because of the Pineapple Coleslaw I've had on occasion down here and I had to mention it to Brianna that they need to add that on their menu as a side because that Mango Salsa Coleslaw I'd just created was deeeeelicious. Everything was good, the atmosphere was upbeat, the staff was friendly and attentive. We'd definitely go back if we're fortunate enough to get back down here again! read more

Tiki bar with lots of tables outside and an entire inside bar and sit down dining section as well. Sitting right on the water, you can arrive by boat or wheels. Or, even walk there! Good views.. Friendly staff. Only stayed for one drink but it was busy on a Saturday afternoon. We sat at the bar to people watch for a drink. Another tiki style restaurant with a full liquor bar on the Gulf Coast waterway. The front gravel parking lot had a seven foot tall red cement buoy that said 245 miles to Cuba - Drunkenmost Point. This was a funny replica of the red buoy at the Southernmost Point in Key West 90 Miles to Cuba. The bartender was nice but not overly exciting. Ordered a cold craft beer and relaxed peering at the tremendous amount of fishing wall decor and American flags. The bathroom was clean and basic, except for the bathroom directional arrows indicating, "Men are to the left, and women are always right". read more

This is the quintessential Florida seafood restaurant. It sits on a great location along the canal. They have great live music and the food is fantastic. We tried multiple apps and our group ordered a variety of options. Everything is freshly prepared and full of flavor. They have a full bar and very friendly servers. Late one weeknight, we had excellent service, great food, nice water view and a few dances to live music on the patio! The guitar player gave us a waltz and rhumba, and my shrimp tacos were 5++! Each taco had 5 or 6 huge fried shrimp with tomato and lettuce too, very delicious. Hubby enjoyed his fish also. Phuzzys is on Pine Island, FL near the little town and provides live music nightly! We stopped by and had Drinks and listen to the band. I said band, but it was really just a guitar player. Believe it or not it was very good. We were on the porch area at the bar and I did not go into the inside part of the restaurant however, things were lively on the backside and the drinks were good. Very generous poor. Guitar player was a little better than normal and he could sing so we enjoyed the hour that we spent sitting on the deck and listening to good music. While on vacation we ate here twice and both times it was delicious. The first time our waiter was just ok, a bit slow (was pretty busy) but food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. The second time our waitress maiya was fabulous. She made sure to keep our drinks full and check on us regularly and was very personable. We had the hot crab dip, delish, and the coconut and boom boom shrimp apps, hot and good portions, delicious. My husband and I split the coconut shrimp tacos, our son had the tenders and fries and my mom had the steak tacos. All were great and very good portions, kids tenders were a tad overcooked but still ok. We also had the tropical punch bucket cocktail SO good and great to share. They had live music and the gentleman was great and took requests. Restaurant is on water and was so nice in the evenings. If ever back in town we will be back. The chocolate cake we nicknamed the "Matilda cake" (if you've seen the movie you'll know) because it was ginormous and was also very good, we ended up taking half of it home. Cruised to Fort Myers for a Valentine camping weekend. Decided on Phuzzy's Boat Shack. Thomas was our waiter and used the cutest coaster. Sat outside and the weather was beautiful. They had live entertainment. Since it's happy hour, hubby ordered a dozen oysters and I tried the crab rangoon. Very nice presentation;however, it doesn't need the spiced mayo drizzle. The fresh blue crab can stand alone. Of course I ordered a cosmo and even though poor Thomas had no idea what it was, it wasn't bad so I had 2. For dinner hubby had clam strips and I had crab and corn chowder soup. Food was good but Thomas gets the extra star for his great wholesome personality and the awesome service. read more

Our group of four stopped here for dinner on a weeknight off season and it was pretty quiet. We got a nice table along the canal away from the music so we could talk. Our server was super friendly and prompt. A few of us ordered their tiki punch drink and it was pretty tasty ($13). We also shared an order of their hot crab dip which was very good and scarfed down quickly. I ordered the grouper sandwich since I had not had any grouper on this trip to Florida. I got the crab and corn chowder as my side and it as good. The grilled grouper sandwich gets a thumbs up. Prices were reasonable. Glad to see that St James City is continuing to recover. I drove out to the West Coast on Veterans Day to have lunch with a Veteran friend and we stopped by here. This place is on the water and boaters stopped by for lunch and drinks. The decor remind me a lot of key largo. We sat at the bar and Madelyn served us. She has her own cool coasters for the patrons to use. I had the Dolphin (Mahi Mahi) sandwich, fries, baked beans and a couple cold ones. Phuzzy's is my favorite brunch spot. The food is delicious, you must try the banana French toast with pecans. Syrup and whip cream to top it off! We rented an Airbnb nearby and this restaurant was recommended to us. I'm so glad that we stopped in. Our waitress Maya was very friendly. She welcomed us in and treated us like we were regulars there. She was full of knowledge of the area, she gave us great tips. The vibe of the restaurant was incredible for us. We have a friend that knows places. So, we asked and she said Phuzzy's. Never heard of it. I went to Yelp and saw some of my Yelp friends in the Cape Coral had been here. I looked at all the pictures and you will never guess who was in one of the pictures but no review? Dawne of course. Our server was very good and tried so hard to make us happy. Well, we were happy, so she did her job. Naples is lacking on establishments that are on some canal or open water. What I enjoy about the setting is watching all the boats go by while waiting for the food. In the Cape Coral area these establishments are plentiful and good. I ordered the grouper tacos served blackened. Nice kick of spice with the tacos came a a cup of clam chowder. I thought it was good. Boston Clam chowder is almost ubiquitous in southwest Florida. My understanding is this is owned by the Pincher's Crab group. read more

This place was really nice! Very spacious and lots of seating both inside and outside. It's right on the water so you can come by boat. Very friendly staff! Dog friendly outside and they got water and a treat! Service is good and fast. We ordered the seared tuna and the smoked grouper dip, both were really good. Service was very good, but the restaurant wasn't busy. The interior has a nice feel. We ate in the bar area. My Grouper dinner was a fail. It looked like whoever filleted the fish used a butter knife as it did not look like a fish fillet. It had the texture of scrambled eggs. My wife's Grouper sandwich had a larger piece of meat on the bun. Throw in the flavor of fishy fish and my meal was a fail. I traded my two sides for a Caesar salad which came in a small bowl on the Grouper filet plate. I pointed the filet out to the manager and she claimed it was the way a filet should look. I probably rolled my eyes at her, and she did bring me a real filet as a replacement. It really wasn't necessary as I had a $100 gift card. My wife and I agreed, "Take a Good Look Around." Went here for dinner while visiting my in-laws! Is a pretty spot right next to the water, but on the day we went there was a musician playing and unfortunately it ruined our experience as it was very loud and we could not hear each other or the waiter. The waiter was very nice and helpful. He checked in on us several times, but again we could not hear him so that was unfortunate! Food was mediocre. We ordered the crab dip, which was super good. For dinner I ordered the crab cake sandwich and it was just okay! My husband, father in law and mother in law ordered the grouper platter and said the fish was very fishy and didn't seem fresh. I wish restaurants would take into account that people don't go to them to listen to music, we go to talk and enjoy each other. While I think having music is fine, don't make it so loud that we can't hear each other! read more

Ate at Phuzzy's yesterday and had a great time. Server Thomas was super and a lot of fun. The French fries were really good, hot and crispy; and everything else was also very good. Even the beer in a frosted glass was great. The French fries were a very pleasant surprise. We have eaten at a few Pinchers recently, Tarpon Point & Gulf Coast Towncenter, and the fries were terrible at both locations. They were limp, greasy and cold, and we sent them back. One serving came back somewhat edible but not really good, and the other orders were still not something we would eat. They should send the chief at Phuzzy's to teach the chiefs at the Pinchers how to cook. read more

We have been to this restaurant a couple of times. We have consistently had good food and service. I particularly like the coconut crusted shrimp tacos and their baked beans. The restaurant has a cool story and origin behind it as well. Phuzzy's bike is on the wall (at least I assume it was his) with the story itself. We will continue visiting the restaurant in the future. read more

The location is pleasant, but tables by the canal are limited. The food is good. The price of drinks is excessive: $10 for a glass of house wine, the most expensive wine I've ever had in a Tiki bar. It's a shame, because the customer is being taken advantage of. read more
