I went to him to see what he was going to do. He said everything was fine. Its just a little hiccup that just put you back a month. He said to me, he wrote a note to my therapist while I was in his room. Starting that he talked to my therapist about my new orders, what to do for my ankle. When I got to therapy. My therapist never received or talked to him at all about my new care plan. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO HIM. HE RUINED MY ANKLE. ITS WORSE NOW THEN BEFORE MY SURGERY. NOT A GOOD CHOICE IF YOU NEED SURGERY.

The prior authorization staff failed…read moreto submit a second authorization request for an MRI (insurance denied the first one because I had not done physical therapy, and the doctor submitted a new authorization request afterwards), called the day before the procedure, told me insurance denied it, and said I would need to either self-pay or reschedule. I called my insurance, and they told me the second authorization request was never submitted. Bet! The doctor's assistant went to bat for me, and once the paperwork was submitted it was approved. Meanwhile, the prior authorization manager LIED and said she personally asked the doctor to do a peer review with insurance and hit it approved for me. The doctor and the insurance company both said that didn't happen, and peer reviews only occur if they are appealing a denial, Their intake paperwork states that patients are responsible for obtaining all prior authorizations, never mind that we lack the resources to submit paperwork to do so, the chief operating officer dismissively told me it doesn't really mean that, but apparently it does. Patient beware!

The way he talks down to hospital staff is just another reflection of his arrogance. I've been fighting this infection for nearly a year, and have to have the entire knee replacement removed due to his negligence. Thankfully the doctors at Rush Hospital in Chicago are now cleaning up his mess. Avoid him at all costs.

I never had to play phone tag with the office because he ensures that his patients can get ahold of him directly- no matter the day or time! Every day I call I get a message saying that there are 15 or more people on hold ahead of me. No option to leave a message, no option to message with someone, and the on-line appointment tool is difficult and doesn't offer free-form to enter the real reason for the visit or the real type of insurance. I have lost connection in the appointment tool three times and am giving up and going with another ortho practice that actually cares enough about the patient to have a good admin staff. I am sure that the physicians are good so it is very unfortunate. My time is important and communication is important to me. Wonder how many other people are doing the same. This might have been a higher rating if I could actually have gotten in to see the doctor.

Both did a great jobs on my surgeries. They emphasize physical therapy, which is definitely a great idea. I was good about going with my right knee, but not with my other knee, and I suffered for it. When I had my si joint done I used Mohammad as my physical therapist for the third time, I haven't missed an appointment. Not only am I doing great with my si joint, I'm doing great with my left knee! I never thought you needed physical therapy but I had bad experiences before. I highly recommend all of them. Along with hip and leg pain going away, almost all of my back pain has gone away also. Went from 3-4 prescribe pain pills per week to only needing 1 pill since week after surgery. Able to clean several barn stalls or clean our entire house in a few hours. Prior to surgery wasn't able to do either of those. Able to bend over and touch the ground in the mornings.
