RehabXperience is Heaven sent!!! I have been enduring chronic pain for over 3 years. Colette, Rosa and Cristina has helped me with relief of pain on every single therapy session. The center is not only clean, professional and inviting but also educational. You get so many treatments such as their great messages, Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy, Acupuncture and application of Biofreeze that many other physical therapy facilities do not even provide. If you are fortunate to find another center that provide the same treatments it will be extremely expensive and spread through out more sessions. You get all of these treatments all in one session along with Pilate's. They also teach you stretching and balance exercises that you can practically do anywhere which are great remedies for eliminating pain. Just being able to get their proven methods is priceless. Dare I say it, you even learn to embrace ice cold therapy. When I first felt it I screamed but to my surprise it kept the pain away longer. The staff educate you that cold therapy is more effective than hot therapy when it comes to relieving pain. At first you may come in as a skeptic but after your first session you will leave out being a believer. This was my 5th time at physical therapy for my back pain. I argued with my primary about trying again. After all, if 4 other stints of 12 weeks didn't help (4 different places) what benefit could it be? I was so pleasantly surprised with PhysicalOne. My initial assessment was with Dr Amit. Afterwards she gave me a thorough overview of her plan for me. I was in tears because Dr. Amit gave me hope. She puts all of the exerciseAdmit. movements on an APP so you can refer to them at home and make sure you are doing them right. Everything I did with the therapists was demonstrated and explained. Each session was followed by ice therapy, massage of my sciatic areas and back and use of TENS machine. Their goal is to teach you how to make yourself better! They give you the tools and knowledge to continue on even after therapy. Every movement has a purpose. They show you how to work your "program" on your own so that you get full benefit without being overwhelmed. I've had relief for the first time in years and I can't thank them enough. My time having physical therapy at Rehab Xperience was so wonderful I didn't want to leave! The staff is caring, supportive and fun - by the time I was done they were like family. Their approach is amazing and like no other I've ever seen (and I've had physical therapy at several different facilities previously). Here they treat your ENTIRE body, regardless of where your injury is -what a difference this makes!! By the time I left not only was my injury better, but I was stronger, more flexible and had better balance. They give you a comprehensive, easy program that you can do at home and they make sure you are comfortable with it and able to do it correctly. It all starts when you are greeted warmly at the front desk by Christina. I felt as though I was among friends that really cared about the source of my pain, and wanted to help, right from the very first visit. It begins with Colette doing a physical evaluation and developing a custom plan of stretching and exercises designed to improve balance and core strength. Then Rosa helps you to go through the program and to do the stretches and all of the rest correctly. She will correct your position from across the room or be right there to physically put you into the right position to execute the plan.This is really a hands on operation and they really do care about the well being of the clients. It is a warm and friendly environment, however there is also a level of professional and disiplined activity in the air. I woke up one morning with excruciating back pain, could barely walk. I was able to get an appointment at PhysicalOne the day after having been recommended by my doctor's nurse practitioner to get physical therapy right away. I tried three places, all who could not see me before two weeks at least! After one session at PhysicalOne I felt 90% better as I walked out the door. That was amazing! I was able to teach my dance classes the next day! I have had physical therapy many times in my life but not with the expertise and care of the staff here. They are up on the most current ways of treating pain, know how the body works. I like also that there is never time you are waiting around during your session while they are attending to someone else. I am a runner and had seen two other Physical Therapists in my area to help with my knee discomfort and pain during my long runs. Colette, being a runner herself, saw my struggles and invited me to visit her office for an evaluation. The evaluation was very thorough and was carried out by Colette and her very knowledgeable assistants. She immediately saw that I am having issues with my right shoulder, as well as my knee. She recommended several stretches and exercises to zero in on my knee and shoulder. These exercises combined with the icing are very helpful. I would like to thank the very friendly staff, especially Colette, Austin, Elizabeth, and the assistants who make my visit to PhysicalOne a very pleasant one. I arrived at therapy unable to move my left arm, and I was diagnosed with a frozen shoulder. The pain was terrible when I lifted my arm or made certain movements. I did 12 therapy sessions, and now I have almost full movement. I'm very close to being 100% recovered, and I'm super happy because I can now put on my pants, wash my right armpit, sleep on my left side, etc. I have to say that they are excellent therapists and a great team; I wholeheartedly recommend them. Referred by my PCP after evaluation from my orthopedic surgeon. I have been experiencing hip pain associated with poor walking posture to accommodate the issue with my snapping hip. The staff immediately welcomed me and I was greeted by Colette, the primary physical therapist and proprietor. My session began with a series of stretching exercises that gave me feedback on my lack of flexibility. We progressed through a well planned regimen of stretching leading up to massage and cold application to the affected areas. After my surgery for a fractured hip, I went to physical one for therapy. From the first day, I knew that I was going to get outstanding care. I had been to physical therapy before in two other places in the past. Starts with a thorough evaluation and goals. They start you moving the very first day. They provide you with detailed sheets that show each exercise you will be doing. That sheet really helps me remember what to do. Besides almost an hour of exercise you are provided with stimulation and area massage and finish with an ice massage. I highly recommend this place. Last year, I needed physical therapy for a shoulder problem. At that time I found that Colette and her staff were very caring while providing the necessary therapy that my condition required. When I broke my leg this past December and needed to begin therapy in mid-February, there was no question about where I would go to obtain this newest therapy. I went for physical therapy because of my neck, shoulder and left arm pain. I had been a patient of Colette Amit's practice some over 10 year ago, for a knee (ACL) replacement rehab. I have osteopenia and bilateral sciatica. In addition to bilateral osteoarthritis of knee. Walking was very difficult and pain in right knee more than left.
