I have just come back from one of the best experiences with a physical rehab center. It wasn't even for me. My mother-in-law, a very active lady, over a certain age, suffered a series of physical setbacks this winter and found herself in pretty serious need of PT. Balance was in question as well as hip challenges. Her PC MD suggested Quality Rehab, in part for its location for my mother-in-law. Laura was phenomenal. Her caring and very positive nature helped to set "mom" at ease. Her thorough examination and 'testing' of mom's challenges and limitations left me thoroughly comfortable, knowing, I had to leave in just a couple weeks for the north It became almost immediately apparent that mom would be up and about, with care, and in a remarkably short time. Laura was at no point over-promising anything she wouldn't deliver. She willingly explained the physical structures under question and willingly included me as she told mom what she was going to do. She also gave her "homework," which mom did, I assure anyone reading this. I hope to have a similar experience if and when I find myself in need of such help. I may simply relocate if need be. First let me say I am not a person who gives 5 stars, but in this case I just have to, they made my dream of having pain free living a reality. I have herniated discs and I truly believed that the pain and discomfort after and accident was going to with me forever, Laura assured me that they could help. From the 1st day to the last I was pleased and impressed with their service and attention to detail. If you are thinking of back surgery like I was, do yourself a huge favor stop, and try this Physical Therapist first. I have tried the chiropractor, acupuncturist and other therapist, they only got me so far. I was about to try an epidural and maybe even surgery before I met Laura. I am currently at close to zero pain and enjoying life again. Thanks to the staff which are knowledgeable, professional, dedicated and polite. Wherever you are in South Florida, it is worth the trip to this therapist; I travelled about 35 minute (on a good day) one way, and it was well worth it to get these kind of results. I have never broken anything before nor had to have physical therapy, however when I broke my foot and required major foot reconstruction, I was scared I would never get past the pain nor walk right again. I was wrong, I found Laura. Quality Rehab was close to my home and I anticipated therapy to be more pain and aggrevation, I was wrong again. Laura was not only professional, thorough, and knowledgeable but was actually fun to be with! Sounds odd but I actually looked forward to going. I had physical therapy for two and a half months and am able to walk and back to work. I would like to begin this review saying that I wish I could give 6 stars. After a year of a right hip replacement my back and groin was hurting very much and I wasn't able to ride my bike and run anymore. A friend recommended me to call Quality Rehab Care and after 4 visits my pain was gone. I have to say that I was impressed for the level of professionalism and dedication that Dr Laura, Maria, Abby and all the staff bring to the patients. My wife is now treating a chronic tennis elbow, and her progress after 3 weeks had been very good too !
