If you are an lgbtqia+ person who is need of medical help, this is the place to go. I came to this…read morelocation a month ago for something I have put off. I was apprehensive on how I would be treated because of who I am. I wish every doctor's office, emergency room and psychologist could take a lesson from the staff here. I began transitioning from FtoM a year ago and it's been tough to have my pronouns, needs or my symptoms taken seriously. I often feel dismissed before the dr even sees me. Since I don't appear male presenting yet I know it causes confusion. I have anxiety because of it when it comes to situations with medical establishments. I've had many visits that I have been treated poorly and misgendered. Physicians immediate care has changed my outlook on healthcare and I'm very thankful. The front desk person Lynzey is an outstanding person! When they were taking my information for the registration, they double checked with me on how I would like to be addressed and the pronouns that I use. They also asked if I have a chosen name beside my birth name I want to use. My ID states male but the registration asks you to choose between male or female for "sex at birth", I had to choose female. This is why I was asked in private for the pronouns and chosen name. No one has ever thought to ask me this in any medical setting. Lynzey explained that the staff will be compassionate to my needs and not to worry, that they only want me to feel better and it's ok to be honest. \They also made sure to give me information for lgbtqia+ centers for outreach and medical care. This is the first medical office where I could be myself and not feel like an alien! The nurses and DR are just as tremendous too and answered all my questions. I didn't feel like I had to hide anything. I have recommended this clinic to anyone I know. Several of my friends have had the exact same experience with the staff, which makes me so so happy. If you are like me and scared to go the dr's office because you will be misgendered or neglected, give physicians immediate care a shot! Thank you Lynzey for everything you did. You have made a big impact on myself and 2 of my friends. I wish there were more people like you in the world.

Watch out!!! This clinic is desperately in need of a formal investigation…read more I visited when I had an unrelenting cough. I was the only patient and it took 45 minutes to check me in. When I said I was too sick for this kind of "urgent" care and started to leave, a medical assistant and then a PA saw me. They took my blood pressure and did a swab and although I later discovered from my regular doctor that I had pneumonia, they sent me home with comments in the summary, which I'm paraphrasing - "her lungs sounded clear... and she's doing surprisingly well given that she has asthma." I do not nor have I ever had asthma. BUT THAT WAS JUST THE START. Over the last 4 months they have billed me over a thousand dollars for the visit - first, from a company that goes by an entirely different name, and then by wellnow. The billing is egregious. I called the number on the bill and was told that I was correct, they should have billed medicare (they had my number), and the billing would cease. Yet... the billing has been ongoing and they took advantage of the fact that they had my credit card number - which they required when I checked in and have consistently tried to bill my card. I called my credit card company and they were investigating, yet the constant billing continued and eventually I changed my card number because I don't want them to have access to my account. In addition this is frustrating and exhausting. As I mentioned, this company needs to be investigated. I strongly encourage you to seek medical attention at another urgent care that has nothing to do with them!

The biggest pro is that everyone is very personable, and the MA & doctor both had excellent bedside manner. It was genuinely a good experience while I was being looked at. The biggest con is the wait time. I initially walked in around 9:30am, hoping to be looked at 10-10:30am and make a work meeting by 11. However, I waited until nearly 10:30am (an hour later) and ended up leaving because I had to go. I returned with a booked appointment for 12:30pm, and I wasn't looked at until almost 1:45pm. Numerous people that arrived after me were taking in first, and I'm not sure why -- maybe it was a triaging thing. This is a great place to get your immediate/urgent care done, but note that it's not really immediate. If you can find a way to kill the time, you won't be disappointed. However, if you plan to be in and out, you may need to consider another location.

It turned out it was the flu, but when you have a 100 degree temperature and you are 77 years old and your chest tightens up and it's hard to breathe, and impossible to talk without wheezing, it is scary. He patiently listened to all of my concerns and addressed them, coming up with solutions that have already started working. I can't thank him enough! You will quickly realize how much he cares and how much he knows.

Don't go here for TITERS!!…read more The day of my visit all went well with my blood being draw for my titers... but that was the ONLY positive experience I had with this location. I've been to another location on Clybourn and they were much more professional! The front desk girl at this Bucktown location had a terrible attitude even though I was just calling to ask questions about my titer results. So here's what went down. I paid FULL Price to have ALL MY TITERS checked and they even drew an extra tube of blood to "make sure" it would be enough. Yet the lab had some kind of "processing issue" with the varicella titer. They NEVER called to tell me that. It wasn't until I called to request my results 2.5 weeks later and I ASKED if I had a suffice sample for all my titers to be checked. The person I spoke with told me to come back in for free to redraw blood since it was THEIR MISTAKE. When I called again prior to walking in I mention this, and the RUDE front desk girl says "i dont know what to tell you, we will have to charge you again"... I asked to speak with the manager, she said she'd leave my number and I'd receive a call back and I NEVER did. I have never written an angry review but this place had me livid. I HIGHLY SUGGEST using (Jason Health) a cheap out of pocket alternative where you can get doctors orders, if all you need is bloodwork done and go to Quest diagnostics. I did this and had my results back 24 hrs later!!

I researched how to get there, as some have complained they could not find it. I walked into the building, and the security staff told me to go to floor 15. I walked into the office and checked in at the kiosk answering a few simple questions. I get a bit uneasy about having my blood drawn, but Tiffany was wonderful. She had such a calm and reassuring voice. She told me everything that that we would be doing and took extra care as she drew my blood. Before I knew it, it was done. Tiffany made sure I was feeling okay before letting me know how and when I should expect my results. She was really fantastic! I had a great experience here and recommend it. I was in-and-out pretty quickly and there was only a few people waiting then. Don't come here unless you have an appointment.
