I am a klutz and had a bad encounter with a chair. My foot turned a brilliant shade of blue and I couldn't walk on it. So, I called Physician's Now Urgent Care. Thank you, Sarah for being such an angel. She helped me fill in the pertinent forms and take pictures of my id and insurance cards. Then, she took my medical background and I waited for an X-Ray. She was a saint. My provider, Dr. Tanya examined my foot. She was really fabulous and told me to wait until they could get it x-rayed. They X-rayed my foot and I broke it. : ( I now have a boot and a cane. Oh, not the look I was hoping for. I have to follow up with an orthopedic doctor. But, Dr. Tanya and Sarah were the best! Thank you, urgent care for making my visit a little easier and more comfortable. read more

SOOO, I fractured my knee cap and my surgeon requested I obtain my X-rays there. NO problem, until I got there and had to fill "a few pages out," in pain.... whatever! BUT, THE CLINCHER WAS: the radiologist who took a few pictures and told me to get off the table and WAIT in another room to make sure the images were "ok". Wow, such stupidity and I told him " NOT MOVING!" Too much pain and knowing that I had a severe fracture ( just knew it). Not being disrespectful or difficult, HE ( the radiologist) already SAW THE PICTURES/XRAYS, and asking me to move! WOW! Ended up with 12 screws and a plate in my knee cap! For a Radiologist and MAYBE A PHYSICIAN to see these X-ray, I got a severe problem here as to how EVERYTHING was handled, being a recent retired surgical nurse! read more

The care I got was good on 1/20/26. However, their credit card reader was not working properly and I was required to swipe 2 cards even though both showed "pending" on my bank apps. I was assured if double billed I would be credited. I was double billed; I contacted the office 2/11/26 and emailed the proof of the second charge. Nothing was done. I called again 2/17/26, left a message. No return call. I had to send a dispute to my credit card, which is now pending. Very frustrating doing business this way. read more

The Nurse and Dr who saw me were very good. The Dr diagnosed my condition and got me set up with meds in a reasonable amount of time. Total visit was 2 hours, including 15 min waiting to ensure no reaction to the medication they gave me. Co-pay I was charged was exactly what I expected / per my health plan. read more

Stay AWAY if possible. This office WILL try to steal money from you at the earliest opportunity possible. Thankfully I know my insurance plan, but anyone who is less familiar is at high risk of getting taken advantage of. I would recommend going to any other urgent care that you can. Before my appointment, I got a call at ~7am asking me to pay my copay for my 10am appointment. I figured I could wait until getting to the office before paying if they insisted on me paying before getting seen. When I spoke with the front desk woman, however, she insisted that the $30 copay listed on my insurance card was incorrect, the phone call stating I had to pay $30 was incorrect, and that I needed to pay $146.51 to be seen. She tried to play me in saying I had an unmet deductible, but an urgent care visit doesn't qualify for the deductible payment--I only need to pay a copay. I politely told her that I will double check with my insurance company (for which this urgent care is in-network). After my insurance company confirmed I was correct about only needing to pay a $30 copay, I returned to the office, and the front desk lady said "ok, fine" and then had me pay the $30 copay. This gave me a big scam alert because this meant that she knew how to process the claim properly and deliberately chose to attempt to scam me instead!! At 3:13pn, spoke w/ a nurse, then administrator confirmed my insurance info, took my cc info, then a quick convo w/ the doc, I completed my Covid test & flu shot by 4:30. Casey expertly administered my flu shot, while i sat in my car, in front of the Bank of America bldg, & I didn't even feel it! Perfecto! Oh! The reason I came here, my daughter highly recommended! I came across this urgent care center on Saturday while looking for treatment of a bad respiratory infection. To my surprise they were open and taking walk-in appointments. The wait time and the registration process were quick and easy. The PA that saw me was very friendly, professional, and diagnosed my issue after a thorough exam; just as a precaution, she suggested an x-ray, and I was happy that they had the capability to do x-rays in their office and at the time of my visit. I received my results within minutes and was prescribed antibiotics before being discharged. The entire visit lasted 30 minutes and I left feeling well cared for. Got a rapid Covid test ~9:30am this morning. Expected results within 2-3 hours. It's now 5pm and... nothing. When I called I was told they wouldn't even start to enter the results until the end of the day. And when I called again the office was closed and the call was routed to VM. I know they are busy but am a little disappointed. Update: Got an email that my test results were available soon after posting this review. Updating rating to 4 stars since at least the results came back the same day, which is better than most other options around here. read more

I was seen today at this Urgent Care for stomach and back pain. I wasn't feeling well at all; and even though they were busy I was taken back within minutes of checking in. I think she's a new provider with Physicians Now and her name is Lisa Schreiber but oh my goodness her bedside manner is so kind and understanding. **KUDOS TO WHOMEVER HIRED THAT PEACH** Lisa took her time and she was genuine and understanding. I have covid symptoms and received rapid antigen and PCR covid tests from Physicians Now at noon on Fri Dec 24. I got a call from them later in the day asking for personal info that I gave to a worker on the testing line. Apparently the info was lost. I came here so I can get my infection looked at and they sent me home after barely even looking at my infection. The doctor had me pick up some antibiotics that didn't even work and I was out of commission for 5 days and my infection didn't change. Today I woke up with a swollen eye (almost closed) that was hurting a lot so I decided the best thing to do was to go to the urgent care. I didn't have an appointment so I knew I was going to have to wait for a bit. However, I wasn't expecting to wait over an hour to be seen. Showed up for my appointment early yesterday morning for a Covid 19 test and everything went smoothly. There were only two cars in front of me and both were processed in under five minutes. I got both the rapid and non-rapid tests. I was told that I would get the results of the rapid test same day. That was reiterated to me when I was called later in the day to review my medical history. It's now been more than 24 hours and I have had no update via email, text, telephone, through their portal, you get the idea. Additionally, they are unavailable by telephone, and have no way to contact them on their website.looks like I'll need to find someone else to do a test. read more

The first time I came here, we had fast and effective test results. The second time - No Test Results at all We got PCR Tests 4 days early for our travel to see older family. A WEEK later, No Test Results. We have tried to call more then 15 times and rerouted to an automatic voicemail. Just received an email from them and a call from the lab that our test never made it to the lab a week later. Ive already traveled out of town a week later and now they are just informing us that the tests never arrived. Completely acceptable testing. Would be great if someone could pick up the phone in the office. Update: we received an email back and we're able to finally get the results from the lab. I first went to the CVS minute clinic and they directed me here because they usually don't treat what I needed help with. Made an appointment at Urgent Care for 7pm. When I got there, the place was well-lit, clean, and the receptionist was friendly. Everything was prompt and professional. Got required tests and exams done and all questions answered clearly. Also got required prescription meds for my condition. They also accepted my medicaid insurance under health connections so I paid 0. They always have excellent service and quality physicians or PAs to address your health issues. The issue I have is with the front desk staff can be abrupt and unfriendly. I have had front desk staff who were very friendly and helpful and others who just seemed like they hated their job and did not care about you as a patient. I know that they do not run your insurance to see if you have a co-pay. I visited them yesterday, and they told me my insurance had a 20% co-pay which I know is untrue. I did not argue due to the reason I was there and paid the co-pay. It is the same routine each time with paying the front desk a co-pay I do not owe and then fighting with their billing department for a refund. If possible I would strongly recommend checking your insurance before going. A simple phone call to your insurance about any co-pay for going to urgent care can save you hours of frustration with their billing department. read more

Walked in to see the doctor Tuesday mid afternoon and immediately directed back outside for covid rapid test and told to wait in car for results. Thirty minutes later I was cleared negative and called inside. Clean waiting room (with a kid area), friendly front desk and just 15 minutes before vitals done and then 5 minutes for PA Amy to start exam. Thorough exam for issue and good communication skills. Any time that I have a small health problem (sickness/fever, physical injury, possible tick bite, allergic reaction, etc.), I would come here first. The people here are courteous, prompt, and effective. Worst place EVER! If you have to get a DOT Physical for your CDL DO NOT GO HERE! Paid $125.00 for their lane tests and they failed me on the eye test and hearing test. The same day I went to a real eye Dr and had my eyes tested and was 20/20, THE SAME DAY! I tried to get a hearing test scheduled for the same day but everywhere was booked so I went a week and a half later and had my ears tested at a Ear, Nose and throat specialist and there's nothing wrong with my hearing either!! Their idea of a hearing test is someone standing maybe 5 feet behind you whispering ABC but she was much farther away and whispered so low I couldn't hear anything. After I went back there with my 2 tests I aced the regular dr wasn't there but some physician's assistant was there and she wanted to give me all the tests over again and I told her I'm not doing that because I was pissed and like a dummy I let her take my blood pressure angry and it was seriously high because I spent money there and then GOD only knows how much I'm going to get tagged by the eye dr and ear, nose and throat drs- ALL FOR NOTHING!!! Have used them on a number of occasions for COVID testing. It is easy to get an appointment and the drive-up operation is very efficient. They do both the rapid and PCR test in the same visit, so that you can quickly get results, but also receive results later for the more accurate test. They also offer same day PCR testing (for a fee) which is not offered many places. This is great for travelers who have to deal with COVID restrictions when traveling to other countries! read more

Update to my review: just went to the pharmacy and was told by the pharmacist this doctor was wrong and should not have told me to take flu meds despite negative rapid test. Doctor gave a false answer to the one question he allowed me to ask. Made an appt online to be seen at 4:19 PM, arrived and was taken back on time. Described my symptoms to a nurse who gave off a very cold and unwelcoming feeling, then was taken into a room for a flu test. Nurse had a hard time completing the test as I couldn't stay still for it, so he brought another nurse in. She couldn't do it either, so the doctor came in. He was able to test me, and did so very quickly. He did not perform any sort of check on my throat, ears, nose, or head which are all four of the reasons I came in-- simply tested me for flu and left. The test came back negative yet he still prescribed anti-flu meds "in case the send-away test comes back positive." I asked if these would help at all if I don't have the flu, i.e. a cold or sinus infection. He reluctantly smiled and nodded with no elaboration, said he'd send the prescription over, and walked out. He was probably in the room for a total of 1 minute. Nurses and doctor all seemed to lack knowledge/professionalism. Only reason for 2 stars is the speed of my visit, but that's probably because they literally didn't do anything. read more

Dr. Olisaemeka and his staff at Physicians Now are truly one of the FRONT LINE heroes of the Covid-19 & Omicron pandemic!!! Period!! Rain, snow or shine...Monday or Sunday, they remained OPEN!!!!!! YOU tell me where else besides emergency care hospitals did that!!!! They were organized, flexible, accurate, KIND, available and affordable.
