I first went to Look Great MD under their previous name about 5 years ago to remove two simple small black star tattoos. Maureen was able to successfully remove these tattoos in five treatments. Because the tattoos were small, I received lidocaine and the process was relatively painless. As my previous results were so great, I returned again to remove another tattoo-- this one much, much bigger. It saved me a lot of time and money to do it without the lidocaine, and it is extremely painful. I've had four treatments so far and I've seen good results, but due to the complexity of this tattoo, it will require more than five treatments this time to fully remove it. Do you want a tattoo removed? I do recommend coming here and asking for Maureen. I saw a comment mention that the area was white after the tattoo was removed-- this is normal! My skin took maybe up to 2 years after my final treatment for the pigment to return. You need to be very proactive in taking care of the area after treatment to avoid infection. And as I've previously mentioned, these treatments can be very painful! But if you really want your tattoo removed, you can bear through it (just bring a loved one who doesn't mind having their hand squeezed off!)
