I've been a loyal client of Novique Medical Spa for over 3 years -- even traveling from New York City to Pennsylvania just to see them -- and I've spent thousands of dollars trusting them with my skin. I truly regret that now. I booked a Cosmelan peel and specifically confirmed in writing and in person that I wanted the original formula -- not the newer version, which I had used before and didn't want. Both the front desk and the esthetician assured me I'd be receiving the original. After the treatment, my skin reacted completely differently -- I experienced a severe breakout, something that never happened with the original formula. That's what first made me question whether they actually used the right product. When I followed up, I was met with rude, dismissive behavior and zero accountability. After multiple follow-ups, they finally admitted they had used the wrong formula -- exactly what I had asked them not to use. At first, they refused to take any responsibility. No apology, no solution -- just excuses and gaslighting. It wasn't until I kept pressing that they eventually offered a "touch-up" with what they claimed was the original formula. But that turned out to be even worse -- the jar they offered had already been opened and used on another client. That is absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable, especially for a medical-grade chemical peel. How is that even safe This wasn't just a small mix-up -- this was a medical-grade treatment applied without informed consent, followed by an offer to "fix" it with someone else's leftovers. It's honestly disturbing. And this isn't the first red flag. A while back, they sold me a $300 product that was set to expire in just two months, and when I brought it up, they refused to replace it. I still gave them another chance out of good faith. That was a mistake. The most alarming part was my phone call with the owner, Inna. She constantly talked over me, was defensive, unapologetic, and kept insisting, "But this formula is better." That's completely irrelevant -- I did not consent to it. She even admitted that the front desk and esthetician made a mistake, but still claimed they weren't wrong -- just "uninformed." So who actually knows anything at this spa? Why are clients being treated by staff who, by the owner's own words, are not properly trained or trusted to communicate accurate information? If you're considering going to Novique Medical Spa, please be cautious. Triple-check every treatment and product directly with the owner, because your consent and safety may not be prioritized. Once a month for the past 3 months I have had Microneedling with PRP and Aerolase . Now on my fourth month they gave my skin a break from the microneedling and I am having Aerolase as well as my very first session of Clear and Brilliant . My friend and I booked diamond-glow facials together while I was in visiting from out of town. My friend went in first, and they asked her to change her service to a shorter go and glow facial instead, like they were wanting to rush her in and out of there. She felt like she didn't have a choice, so just did whatever facial they suggested. When it was my turn, I went in expecting to get the diamond glow facial I booked the appt for. When she brought me back, she asked if I was getting the same facial as my friend. We had both been signed up for the diamond glow so I of course said yes. No one explained to me they were trying to rush us out of there and that the service I was about to get was not the service I scheduled for. So ultimately left, feeling deceived, unimportant, and unsatisfied, paying for a service that was no difference than a facial at a non medspa spa where they just put a couple masks on you and send you on your way, but paid twice as much for it. If someone would have asked me if it was ok to change my appt from the diamond glow to the go and glow, I would have said no, I want the diamond glow, or I would have just left and not have wasted my money. Put a very back taste in my mouth that this is the way they treat customers and run business. Waste of money. Came in not knowing exactly what I needed. My skin was looking dull and tired. I was shown around the spa (gorgeous space!) and evaluated by the ladies and they suggested a Salt Facial. The procedure itself was very relaxing and not at all painful. My skin is still glowing 4 days later!! I also got a Vitamin Boost shot which helped me get over a bad cold I was fighting for weeks! The staff at this office is very nice, but don't go here for Botox. I've paid less with other places for fewer injections and have had much better results. This is the most expensive Botox treatment I've ever had, and less than two months out, I'm already seeing that the Botox did not take well. I noticed that it wasn't taking well from the onset as I've experienced change immediately with my dermatologist in the past with results that have lasted more than 6 months. So while this place is lovely and the people quite nice, you're wasting your money. I've heard that some places water down their Botox, and I believe, based on my results, that they are doing just that. read more
