I signed up for the first time free class and went with a group of 3. The front desk was courteous, helpful, and there was enough storage space for belongings. Probably due to it being a small class less than 10, our instructor was able to give hands-on help / form correction, and easy to understand instructions even for us beginners. Although hard (i was using muscles I never knew existed lol!) I felt great at the end! My group and I loved our session and would definitely go back again

As they don't have showers on premises, taking a class at lunch or on the way to work is out of question. - And good luck getting out of membership - they will thoroughly ignore your emails. Save money and go elsewhere the offer better quality for your money - I will.

It's a good thing they were only three of us taking the class today. It was kind of awkward for me. Least favorite class I've taken so far from class pass and I didn't feel it matched the class description well. It was branded as a high energy Bey/Nikki/RiRi HIIT class but it seemed more like barre class with hit song's playing softly in the background. I did break a good sweat though, so...Mission Accomplished! I got in a good workout but it wasn't fun or engaging so I'll try somewhere else Update: the manager reached out to me and explained that a new instructor was subbing that course and did a bikini barre class with the Bey/Nikki/RiRi soundtrack which made so much sense. She invited me back to do the actual cLass I signed up for and it was much more fun and engaging than the first class I did

I have lost 30lbs on my weight loss journey and Purenergy has been a huge part of that! For less than the cost of that massive gym in King of Prussia and way more variety than the "Citrus Concept" down the street, you can enjoy similar class offerings, free babysitting 8:30a-12pm Monday to Friday, and twice the ambiance! I find myself in Yoga a few days a week - the studio is beautiful and the mild heat is welcome in these bitterly cold winter months! I recommend Kristy's Wall class for a great deep stretch and Sarah's Power Flow for the ultimate mind/body stress relief! As part of my New Years Resolution, I am trying more of the fitness classes here, and thus far have taken Lisa's Tabata and Michelle's Burn class - both high-intensity interval training guaranteed to ramp up your energy! You'll also find pilates, barre, aerial, spinning, and martial arts classes here - ensuring you'll never get stuck in a rut! I'd personally love to see more Pilates or core based classes in the evening, but realize that has everything to do with instructor availability and member interest! :) Beyond the class offerings at Purenergy you'll find a welcoming atmosphere, clean locker rooms, and fresh towels for the sweat you're guaranteed to break! Drop in for a class - you'll be a member before you know it!

I have been going to Tuck for almost three years now. This is such a special barre studio- the…read moresupportive, community feel is unlike any other exercise studio I have been out. This is a small business owned and started by Callie and it does NOT have any sort of corporate feel. The studio is so cozy and you can tell that Callie really puts her heart and soul into it. I love the esthetic of the studio- the plants are luscious and there is so much attention to detail with all the decorations. The classes are very affordable. I buy the class packs which amount to about $17 per class but you can find an even better deal if you snag them during one of the sales. As others have mentioned, it's also amazing that the classes don't expire. This makes me feel like the studio wants you to use the classes and have a good experience rather than being focused on profits. I really feel like there is something here for everyone. There is a variety of teachers, so you have to try a few classes out to see who you like! In the same vein, if you try a class and it's not your thing, don't be afraid to try another one as there is such a range of teaching styles. My personal favorites are Melissa, Katie, Ann, and of course, Callie. While the teachers all have differences in teaching style, they all focus on being in tune with your body, taking breaks when needed and enjoying the workout. The classes are 45 minutes and it goes FAST. They are also a lot of fun. The only improvement I would wish for would be more after work (6:30 PM or later) classes. It can be tough to make it to classes with my work schedule as I leave the city at 6:30 AM and am not back until 6:30 PM. As a result, I can only make it to Tuck during my days off whereas corporate studios tend to have more class times. Again, though, because the classes don't expire, I am not rushing to finish my packs and come to the studio when I can.

I am so grateful I found this space last fall, now I come to Tuck nearly every single day. The clientele are the kindest people I've ever encountered- becoming a regular at Tuck has introduced me to so many amazing women in the neighborhood. The workout is challenging but never impossible, there is lots of attention given to providing modifications and focusing on what feels good for your body. No two classes are ever the same which I absolutely need to avoid getting bored. For barre, I have been known to say Katie's barre at 7:15 on Tuesdays and Thursdays is the best part of my week. I also love Vanessa's barre class. I am not as much of a yogi but I adore Rachael's Wednesday night yoga class and Elizabeth's Tuesday night restorative. I especially love that the class packs don't expire. Please never change that! The only thing I'll mention is that some instructor's playlists can get repetitive, and that the studio is only sporadically stocked with essentials like tissues and tampons. I also wish the studio offered more class times because the classes (especially morning and weekend classes) can be difficult to get into.

The elevators are not great and often only 2/3 work. I think more transparency would be nice. 2) Showers start to flood within 30-seconds. It's gross and I, again, wish there was some transparency on why this isn't addressed. 3) The lack of outlets. This one is most frustrating as it seems to have the most straightforward solution. No outlets under the table in the library? Come on guys. Get a power strip or something please. Outlets by more seats on the 3rd floor mezzanine and terrace would be game changing! Please

I quite enjoyed my time at he Bellevue for a while that it's done a complete 180 in the last…read moreseveral months. The good: Very big and nice facilities with amazing great variety of equipment. A TON of group fitness classes if you're into that including free reformer Pilates classes (if you can get in.) Issues (that are unacceptable in general or just completely insane to have at the membership price point...these are things you deal with a budget gym or someplace you go for free): Constant elevator issues which cause lines and long wait times during peak hours. And for the last 6+ months they've only had two of three functioning if that. You know it's an issue, fix it for goodness sakes. Good luck if you rely on parking here. The entrance are closed half the time causing you to have to detour for a good ten plus minutes to get in and then exiting you're stuck behind trucks delivering in the alley they've left "open" for you to get out. And yes the validate but they randomly increased the price from $11 to $12 one day. Not a huge deal but why not tell members in advance? It's just sloppy. The sound systems are suboptimal for group classes especially in the HIIT studio. It is a vibe killer for sure. The spa that we were promising was coming soon when we joined in November of 2023 is still nowhere to be found. The locker rooms are adequately maintained but there are so many privacy issues. Often there are signs that there will be men working in the women's locker room. And the phone use is NUTS. People are on video conference calls! How is this allowed?? The cafe hours stink for early birds. If I'm done with my workout before 7am and I want coffee, I'm SOL. It's also insanely expensive. I cannot speak for the food there because I won't eat it after I saw a mouse in the cafe area while I was working from there one day. Treadmills are constantly broken. They added a bunch and now there's somehow less available because they cannot seem to maintain them. Out of service for a day or two is one thing but it goes way longer than that. Good luck and Godspeed accessing an assault bike or a ski erg between 10:15 and 2pm on weekdays. They're fully monopolized by the turf class and the HIIT studio is used for classes including mat Pilates (??) Generally speaking maintenance seems to be an issue. A pedal was hanging off one of the two assault bikes on the main floor this week when I was using it. A tread was sticking a few weeks ago when I started to run on it. I couldn't strap my foot into a rower the other day. It doesn't seem like it would be too much to ask that they keep their eye on this. I do feel like it used to be under control but had fallen off a cliff recently. Too many people here are shooting footage for social media. I cannot complete a workout without being concerned I'm in the background of someone's selfie-video or photo shoot. Hotel guests have full access to the gym. It adds to the insane crowds on the weekend and needs to get in check. Many of the trainers and instructors are great but a handful of trainers that either do personal training or turf classes are flat out RUDE. I was treated disrespectfully and even bullied by one of them while minding my own business just trying to complete my workout. This is embarrassing for the gym and needs to be addressed. Ultimately, I could no longer justify being a paying member with so little care shown by management about the member experience. Perhaps spending less time posting less on social media and more time listening to an addressing member feedback would be helpful.
