Beautiful French restaurant with excellent service. I didn't care for the martini of the evening, way too sweet for my taste. But the wine that was paired with our meals by the sommelier were perfect. I had the lobster bisque and the duck, which was cooked perfectly, crispy skin and tender meat. My husband ordered the French onion soup and filet mignon. We enjoyed the live music that evening, he sang various songs by Edith Piaf, Charles aznavour and Pink Martini, love it. The chef came out and greeted us at the end of our meal which was a nice touch. Overall we had a nice evening here.

That is definitely the best restaurant of Puerto Vallarta to my mind. This sophisticated prestigious restaurant offers the art of French cuisine. Romantic and captivating ambience, elegantly decorated, with live music 5 days a week, that enchanting trombone, so fancy. Or when not live, you'll hear French songs by Edith Piaf, Joe Dassin, Mylene Farmer etc. As in France, they start with Amuse Bouche, different each day. Their delicious home baked bread stuffed with blue cheese is really something. For Hors d'oeuvres I love my favorite Foie Gras - so refined, with trio of jams. Scallops, salmon tartar, escargot and Dover sole are amazing too. French Onion Soup of course. As for main - Shrimps with risotto, or Chilean seabass if you prefer seafood. Duck Confit, Chateaubriand, Lamb chops with a foie gras sauce, Veal filet - if you're more a meat person. Apple tart with ice-cream, or chocolate fondant were my regular choices for dessert. If they know that you have a birthday or anniversary - you'll get a special complimentary dessert beautifully decorated and even a song for you. Quite an extensive wine list consists of two parts: first, extra charge which is not included for all-inclusive if you're staying at the hotel, includes many sonorous names from around the world, but be ready to pay for that a significant amount. Second, which is all-inclusive if you're a hotel guest, of course is more modest, but for the last year there appeared many new positions: quite decent wines from Spain, Italy, Argentina, Chile, France and Mexico itself, the wine industry in which for the recent years comes to a fine level. Their sommelier will be happy to give you advices what will accompany better your dinner. The Chef - Marco Hernandez is doing really a great job and is top professional. On our last day there he offered us his special Tasting menu with wine paring: Starting with amuse bouche, and then followed seared foie gras accompanying with ice cream. Osetra Caviar on a champagne toast and a cappuccino lobster soup - delicious. After was Risotto with scallops and cheese, so tender. As a main course was a Duo of rosemary lamb and shrimps with a morel sauce and ratatouille. As for dessert - it was so beautiful, a total masterpiece, a chocolate fruity flower which was coming into leaf when the Chef was pouring sauce on it, we even made a video of that. This place deserves a Michelin star to my mind for delivering an unforgettable culinary experience and high quality service. Require previous reservation by the way, and children under 12 years old are not allowed. And like a typical self-respecting French restaurant, it is closed on Mondays. Paramount and truly top notch sophistication.

I would recommend the restaurant for anybody that wants a bit of a a change while here in Vallarta. They had a good selection of wines as well. My friend had a Chardonnay whilel I had a carmeniere. Both were very good. The service was good and was slow because of the preparation involved in the food. Check the address before you go because I believe the street is Roma.

We got wine, which I wasn't impressed with. Wine in a hot place needs to be extremely well-chilled and this was lukewarm. I also asked for dry wine and the waiter wasn't able to advise me on which one, but still had high hopes. 30 minutes after ordering, we began to notice that tables around us were very unhappy. Multiple tables left complaining about the service, with one asking for a free dessert because their entree never arrived. After 40 minutes, we asked about our food, and were only then told that a key ingredient was missing and there would be 10 min more to wait. We ended up just leaving instead. I think they were just having an off day, which is fine, except why didn't they just tell us, apologize for not having a server, or give us a head's up until we asked? Also, the restaurant was not busy, so it seems odd that all the tables were so unhappy.
