In the mood for ice cream, I decided to check Yelp to try a new spot. We read great reviews and jumped in the car. Jazzberry Scoops is located in a large strip mall on Federal Highway, and so there is plenty of parking. From the outside, it looks like any standard ice cream shop... until you walk inside. It's like in the Wizard of Oz when Dorothy leaves the sepia world and opens the door to all that beautiful technicolor. I think this might be the most adorable ice cream parlor I have ever been to. I don't think I've ever taken a picture of wallpaper before! Fortunately, Jazzberry Scoops is not all show. There are many flavors to choose from including some vegan options as well. They also make up lots of custom ice cream treats and sell ice cream cakes as well. Marisa, our server, made some great suggestions and offered samples to help us choose our ice cream. The ice cream is delicious, and the portion sizes are generous. There are a few tables inside and a few outside. This place was so whimsical and fun when you walk in. The employees were equally excited to be there. They had so many great flavors and the ice cream was really good! Seems a bit nonsensical, to me, that a brilliant diamond would be tucked away in a safe deposit box--unseen, unused and unenjoyed. That's what comes to mind when I discover a fantastic new spot hidden in a small plaza. This one happens to be inside the Imperial Point neighborhood of Pompano Beach. The ice cream parlor is dainty and beautifully designed, with excellent service and a variety of options. We recently came after school for a special treat for my grandkids because they earned five stars all week long at school. When asked where they wanted to go, they looked at each other, paused for a few seconds and my granddaughter screamed: "dazzle berries," to which my grandson replied: Oh yeah--I like it there; okay let's go! So glad it was unanimous or I probably wouldn't have found this place. Interesting ice cream parlor with an emphasis on the color pink, which almost made me dizzy upon entering. At least 95% of the store including the walls are pink. Loved the old school pink tables topped with large red hearts and the red thin lined chairs surrounded by giant plush pink bears. The employee, Quinton, provided a few large ice cream samples. The Rocky Road was heavy creamy with a strong chocolate taste and a nut crunch. Although good, the thick texture resembled Cold Stone Creamery and I'm more of a lighter Baskin Robbins guy. Quinton gave me a 15% off discount card, which was an unexpected good thing. Aside from ice cream they offer cookies, boxed candy and watermelon cotton candy. I could not resist the double chocolate fudge cookie, which are frozen but Quinton heated it up for me nicely. Very gooey with large chips, just how I like it. read more

The ice cream shop is adorable and we were greeted by Karol and 2 other employees that were all super friendly. They all really enjoy working here and took great pride in their offerings. I wanted something pumpkin so the girl gave me pumpkin ice cream in a pie shell with pumpkin whipped cream. My friend had a dreamsicle shake. They also have a graham cracker ice cream which is so unique and they gave me a little sample to try. They are celebrating their one year anniversary and I hope they are here for many years to come. Located in the Imperial Square along Federal Highway, Jazzberry Scoops is a cute little ice cream parlor that offers: * Various flavors of ice cream in any size cone or cup with various fresh toppings * Sorbet/sundaes/floats/banana split * Shakes & smoothies * Hot & cold beverages * Candy/stuffed animals/gift baskets You can sample the ice cream if you are unsure of the flavor and if you are lactose intolerant, they have a few flavors that are made with coconut milk. I was greeted by a friendly female employee, Marissa, who scooped some rum raisin into a small cup and topped it with some peanuts. The ice cream was creamy, lighty sweet, and the rum flavor wasn't overpowering. I also spoke with the owner who was very pleasant and informative about the business. I went here after lunch with my mother and boyfriend. To my surprise, the interior was completely redecorated and launched me back in time to the 1960's. Very quaint, colorful, and quirky, similar to retro ice cream shops. The shop has a myriad of flavors to try but I chose red velvet, my boyfriend picked moose tracks, and my mother tried pistachio. All of the ice creams had chunks of different treats inside, mine had actual pieces of cake. The ice cream was divine and creamy, rich with flavor. Will be back! read more

A cute and eccentric ice cream shop with a huge assortment of flavors! It gives old ice cream "shoppe" vibes, especially with the candy stripe uniforms of the staff. The ice cream is good- we went a little basic since it was a toddler driven trip with chocolate and coffee but nice flavors. Such a cool little ice cream parlor. Covered in pretty candy colored wallpaper. Their premium ice cream is a little bit expensive it was $12 for 2 Single Dip basic Cones. They have lots of standard flavors although I went with one rarely seen any longer: Italian Spamone'. It was delicious a mixture of strawberry, vanilla and pistachio ice cream with almonds and raisins. (Which rasins are unusual) it was Delish! A gentlemen came in with his small dog and purchased a Pup Cup, they sat inside had their ice cream & we're so cute. The shop also offers Candy. Some old fashioned types, and larger boxes like they sell in the movie the theater. We will return, cute and delicious!! read more

I feel honored to be the 1st to review this new hidden Ice Cream Treasure Gem that just opened up last week. On one hand I wish it wasn't so close to where I live if you know what I mean. But on the other hand, such an awesome ice cream shop is so convenient. Walking in the first thing I noticed was the immaculate cleanliness. The new shop is decorated with pink walls with white trim and beautiful chandeliers that give you that French fusion feel of a place that you might find in New Orleans. I was immediately welcomed by the servers and the owner that introduced himself to me (sorry can't remember his name). The selection of specialty flavors ie German Chocolate Cake, among other assorted chocolate flavors, Birthday Cake, Coffee Chunk, and many, many others gave me that can't make up my mind moment. I settled for the German Chocolate and it was amazing. They also have another refrigerator chest with non dairy variety's. If you on Federal Highway or near this place stop in.
