BE AWARE AND DO NOT BE RUSHED INTO SIGNING ANYTHING "I am in Sanford Maine, not CA. I really wish I could give Pic Home Pros/Bath Flip a stellar review- but I must be honest about my experience. Please, don't be dazzled by the enthusiastic sales tactics. The salesperson that came to my home was very energetic and quite schooled on the products she was selling. I will say that I was impressed by the quality of the material samples I was shown. I will not take that away from them. What I wish I had done; Educate myself on the average price of bathroom renovations by researching local businesses and getting feedback from satisfied customers. Unfortunately, I stopped at a local Walmart where Bath Flip (PIC HOME PROS) had a store set up. I spoke with the salesperson and made an appointment to chat with a associate that would come to my home to discuss what renovations I had in mind. Again, the salesperson was enthusiastic, and I was pleased with the samples she presented to me. This was the first company I had spoken with. I had no idea what the average cost would be for the walk-in shower I wanted installed. My FIRST mistake. Before I knew it, my new walk-in shower became new flooring and wainscoting as well. HERE IS WHERE THEY GOT ME: 1. The salesperson showed me that the average cost for what I wanted in my 40 square foot bathroom was 79K and higher! I nearly fell off my chair. But as the shock clearly shown on my face- she started telling me about how Walmart has a fund for a "Rollback" on the pricing as sponsors of Backflip. A "pool" of funds to allow the customer the best possible price. Tell me more... 2. The calculated cost for my specific needs came up to $41,556.00, BUT with the special roll back pricing it was "only" $29,089.20. THE CATCH I asked if I could have a day or so to think about it and decide how I would like to pay, wanting to speak with my bank and see what my interest rate would be on a loan. Unfortunately, she told me that she was sorry but if I didn't sign there and then that I might lose that amazing "roll back" pricing. She mentioned they had a finance company they worked with, but the interest rate was 13.99%. Feeling as though I had no choice - God knows I did not want to lose that amazing discount, I handed her 10K in cash and signed on the dotted line. BE AWARE About 2 weeks before the install (which they had pushed back from the scheduled date) I had a major issue with my septic system which cost me 20K. I spoke with a representative and explained I would have to cancel as there was no way I could do both and of course- no septic system- no need for a bathroom. The rep was very understanding and helpful. Until.. I received an email that said I would have to pay $9,600 penalty. I was floored. They use their own product- it Is not specially cut and comes boxed in one size, and nothing had been done as of yet- certainly no truck was loaded 2 weeks prior! So, even though they were very "understanding" they would not budge on this restocking fee. Afterall, I did sign the contract, not being told that the fee for cancelling was 33% of the total. Was it my mistake not reading the fine print or why this very important fact was never mentioned in the first place? The pressure to make the deal right then or lose it was heavy and I felt rushed through the signing. Lesson learned! THE OUTCOME Well, not wanting to throw away almost 10K. I agreed to whittle my order down to a shower - with no door- at 11K. So, now I have a walk-in shower that is not nearly as fabulous as the pictures, I had to have them back because the shower head was leaking a fine mist out of the connector piece (and it dripped all night long). I also had a crack in my outside wall where either a screw or a pipe pushed through. Not a huge crack- but damage that I have to have fixed. A plumber was sent out to fix the leak- which he did- but unfortunately it has been almost 2 months and not one word about the damage to my wall. I have waited until now to write my review in hopes that this very "large and prestigious" company would make things right - nope, nuthin'. May I add, I had a local company come in and do the flooring and wainscoting for less than 1/3rd of the price quoted me by PIC HOME PROS, a.k.a Bathflip. THINK BEFORE SIGNING. read more

PIC Home Pros - Windows Installation Near Me - Londonderry, New Hampshire

I would like to share my experience so that others do not encounter what we did. We initially had consultation and submitted payment in March. The shower itself was installed a few weeks later, time passed we waited for our shower doors (as they are custom, this took awhile) we asked for an ETA of installation which should be readily available if they ordered the equipment at time of scheduling service. Incredibly hard to communicate with- They take a voicemail and fail to reply. Multiple calls to customer service. "No representatives available" no one ever calls back. We reported a leak that occurred right after installation. The company showed up unannounced the day after shower installation to fix the leak. Incredibly unprofessional. On 05/23, the door arrived and was picked up. The door was installed the next day. From a distance the door looks okay but with close inspection-The pannels curves out towards the top , there's noticeable gaps in the black caps, and the tile was made to look like a singular piece in the sales pitch not with these gaps and shelves were poorly spaced to where they serve little function. The plumbing was placed towards the edge of the shower making it impossible to the rain shower head purchased with the shower Fast forward to Fall 2024- we noticed a leak in the ceiling below the shower. Upon assessment from a plumber & tile specialist- the shower installation was the culprit. The walls were not water proofed. Plumber putty was smeared in the walls. Caulk used around the pipes inappropriately- and most disturbing is that "waterproof" acrylic flooring tile was used on the walls of the shower with no grout. We know this was not present before because we were having our drop ceiling changed to Sheetrock when the shower installation took place. The ceiling was open and there was no mold damage before the shower installation. Per a tile expert (accredited through NTCA) waterproof flooring was used on the walls of the shower. Waterproof meaning the material won't deteriorate when placed in water but there is nothing stopping water from going through the cracks. The shower has been leaking since the installation. SPC walls/ are 100% waterproof when used with sealant in the seams. In a tub or shower area, existing ceramic tile wallscan be covered with no additional preparation. Otherwise, installation over a waterproof substrate is required, such as Cement Board or an equivalent product. The installer should follow manufacturer's installation instructions to create a waterproof enclosure. The walls were not waterproofed prior to the SPC installation. We now have mold in our ceiling and a ton of damage. $16,000 for a shower that was installed incorrectly & resulted in a ton of damage. Please see photos in comments read more

We got a new shower install in Feb 2025, in October their was a leak and the drain disconnected water went through to the lower level. After a month of determination they finally came to repair the leak. Once the leak was fixed we were told they would be back to fix the ceiling they cut and hacked out Now end of December and still no show and avoiding calls. they should complete the work especially if this is how its been left, this has been caused by their "repair" team. In november 2024 I gave a 1/3 deposit to have work to replace my tub,shower walls, fixtures,install a fixed glass piece and floor. Work did not start for over a month after the contracted time without notifying me till I called. Work finally started whereupon I have another 1/3. When completed they got another 1/3 minus cost for glass. After inspection I found the work to be very unsatisfactory, plus damages to wall, wood work and stains on carpeting. They have not completed the job yet as a shower rod needs to be installed properly and trim around shower walls. They do not return any of my emails or phone calls. If you want a delayed project, with poor coordination, minimal communication, mistakes in the build and some damage to your home, choose PIC Home Pros. April 2024: Worst Customer service! It's been multiple weeks since they did the installation and it is not complete yet. The shower doors were not installed and the wrong showerhead was put in. I have contacted PIC Home Pros customer service on 5 separate occasions to get an installation date, no one has followed up with an answer. Amanda, director of operations contacted me and promised an email and follow-up, but I've received nothing. The installation staff were okay, they made several errors, that caused leaking pipes and damaged tiles. They rectified everything relatively quickly but I found some minor dame to my basement walls and they did not clean up everything. There was a lack of coordination from the company with the repairs. They showed while I was at work, no call or warning as to the time or ever day. Update May 2024: It took over 9 weeks from the original installation for the Shower doors to show up. The customer service was atrocious, until I started posting negative reviews, no one would follow up. If you can't get on the phone with one of the senior employees, you're not getting an answer or call back. If you ask for an email to accompany an update, they won't send one until you've personally opened a thread. When you're project is inevitably delayed, and you ask for proof of orders or tracking numbers, you will get an excuse. read more

I searched for a company that would just do a tub/shower, and I was delighted to find PIC Home Pros! The process couldn't have gone smoother! We met with Nick, their Sales person, who was so nice! He explained everything to us. The price was a good value! Soon they called us, and said the tub/shower order was in the warehouse. We made an install date. Two really nice gents came out and removed the old tub/shower, and installed the new one, in a day! I LOVE IT! It's beautiful, its bigger, and I feel so much safer in the new one! Buyer be aware that when they say they offer payment options and loans starting at 0% interest for the first 6 months they are not being truthful. I was told by the sales rep that came to my house the first 6 months are interest free. We actually went into depth about this as I planned to pay most off within that window. I was clouded by her sales personality and the excitement of finally getting my bathroom done. Much to my surprise the first month I was charged a finance charge. I call PIC Home Pros and the loan company and was told it is 1.55% for the first 6 months. I was not happy but saw that on the document and must have missed that so moved on. A couple of months later I am getting the full interest charged. I called again only to be told it was never 0%, nor was it 1.55%. So shame on me for falling for this but shame on PIC Home Pros for allowing their people to advertise 0% when in fact that is not the case at all. Even now on their web site it is advertised saying 0% for up to 18 months! Lies, Lies, Lies. Also, this is a flip company, they do not take some materials out, just cover over the original tile. The name of the company that comes out to do the work is called Bath Flip so when you are dealing with PIC Home Pros you do not know it is a flip and they do not tell you that information. It has been a pleasure working with this company. After sitting through several sales pitches with other companies, I nearly gave up. An advisor from PIC came to my home for an estimate and what a breath of fresh air. they are not sales "pitchy" at all, they get straight to the point, told me how they could help and started putting a proposal together. We ordered replacements windows and put down a $7,500 deposit on Nov 6, 2021. We were told it would be 16-18 weeks. We're at week 36 now and not only has nothing been done, no one calls to let us know what our status is. We've called ourselves multiple times and keep getting the run-a-round. First it was that the windows arrived but 1 was broken, a month later they were expecting the new one any day and would call in a week or two to schedule installation. A month after that someone was going to look into it and get back to me (didn't happen). Called again today but "the person I need to speak with wasn't available" and the women I was speaking with could not give me any information?! We are more than dissatisfied with this company. I would strongly suggest you look elsewhere. We live in ME btw, not sure why Yelp is placing us in CA. read more

Tony's crew walked on my ceilings and cracked the ceilings in 5 rooms while working in the attic (mold remediation from ice dams and leaks). Tony came and viewed the damage and told me that he'd get it repaired. He never followed thru. I finally had to hire other contractors to replace all the ceilings. The total damages were $10K. Tony asked for a contract for him to pay me for the damages, I created it, modified it as he requested and he refused to sign it. He finally paid me ~$5K. I should have taken him to court for consumer fraud (MA) and claimed against his insurance. I'd be very careful dealing with him. read more

I am in the process of getting a few estimates for a walk-in shower replacement, and was contacted (via Home Advisor) by Pic Home Pros. As soon as I filled out the form for the free estimate, I received several text messages, phone calls and emails. This may have been a little over the top, but the follow-up to my initial request was appreciated none-the-less. I set up an appointment for someone to look over the job, and she arrived promptly. After a brief discussion as to what I was looking for she took measurements and pictures and we talked about options, which took far longer than expected. I then asked if she would email me the estimate. I was told "the company does not do that" and she would need to put an estimate together while either still in my home or would need to set up another appointment to return with an estimate. Faced with these nonsensical options to get a simple estimate, I agreed to allow her to stay. After approximately 10 to 15 minutes of watching her input information, she produced an estimate that was extremely high. It was far and away higher than other companies I have dealt with, and when I told her I would not be making a decision at this time her manner became quite aggressive and very confrontational. I have done my share of renovations, and done due diligence in researching companies and contractors for similar projects. This combative tactic was unacceptable, and I again stressed I would not be making a decision or agreeing to anything. At this point she stated she had done a lot of work for me, if I put off hiring Pic Home Pros on the spot I would not be eligible for the 10% discount, and I would lose the opportunity to have her as a lead on the project. When I didn't respond to those comments, she asked if I had ever had anyone as a lead project manager. I replied I had (different company) and that the woman had done just a wonderful job. She scoffed and then proceeded to insinuate I was lonely and just looking for the company because I was pursuing estimates. The words "are you just looking for the company" actually came out of her mouth. After what seemed at least a 10 minute barrage of questions and high pressure sales tactics, she picked up her belongings and angrily left without even looking at me. The following day I received a call from Daisy at Pic Home Pros asking how my appointment had gone. I told her exactly what had transpired and that I would never hire any company to do any work that sends a rep who speaks to potential customers in this manner. In addition, I told Daisy I would be leaving a review on Yelp because I was doubtful a negative review submitted to their website would ever be posted. From my perspective I would recommend staying far away from a company that tries to intimidate and pressure prospective clients / customers into making snap and costly decisions, and most certainly one that does not recognize the personnel they put forward as their representative are lacking interpersonal skills and social graces. read more

I was excited to place an order for a new bathroom in a condo with PIC HOME PROS, a bath fitting company. I originally placed an order on the March 16th which didn't go through becuase I had forgotten to update my new address on my Apple Card, After I helped Amanda in their office get the card to work, she neglected to remove the original pending charge, and wound up double charging me and so I now have two charges for about $9400, totaling over $18,000 on my card! This maxes out my credit card while I am in the middle of moving. PIC Homes said that they would fix it it, but I have only received rather smug emails from Jenn, who appears to be the bookkeeper, and insists they owe me nothing and it is the fault of my credit card. BTW, at first, when I tried to call PIC, there was only an answering service to so I rescinded my order all together but no credit was applied. Their project manager called me, trying to calm me down, but he has been unable to resolve my refund from the company. Goldman Sachs, who runs Apple Cards, told me that they are helpless in this until PIC Home releases the funds. How hard could that be? Meanwhile,the owner, Anthony, called me up and I told him that I simply wanted the charges off my card and he said it wasn't their fault and yelled at me for making him "take time out of his day." He wanted me to say that it was an innocent mistake, which it was, but what happened after that shows me that the company is either incompetent or crooked. 9/12/23: Home visit by Sales Rep JS to present PIC Home Pros. Contract signed same day, promised 4-6 weeks to complete Project Manager JD skipped appts and didnt follow up to say that he couldn't make the calls, so we were left waiting. 9/29: Received an update informing that this day, ~3 wks past signing contract, material was ordered, ie original 4-6 week timeline was impossible. On this call we re-expressed concern re: potential project + how it would impact this project. Rep assured us he would communicate to work team. 10/16: Call appt for 10/20. Rep skipped call and didn't reach out until 10/23/23 11/6: 8 wks after initial visit (2 wks over original timeline) work scheduled. It was incomplete and done poorly. Missing silicone, damage to walls, no shower pressure, lukewarm water, hole cut through bathroom floor into ceiling of garage below, doors installed that don't fit the frame (resulting in leaks while using shower), floor was poorly installed. The interior plumbing was also completely reconfigured. Photos sent. 11/13: Appt for follow-up call, again ignored 11/22: Sr team reached out and promised upgraded Moen fixtures, new valve to fix hot water problem, and new doors. 12/12: Workers supposed to come and fix everything, but cancelled at last minute bc the supplier "no longer had the material in stock" but appt was specifically made bc all material was in house 12/18: No news on new date 1/9/24: Still no news Then call w/ rep + promise for an update in 24-48 hours - 1/15 No update, 1/16 Email reply 2/7 Team came for repairs: another failure. No new doors + the prev doors now don't stay closed, shower hose leaks, silicone mess on floor, incomplete silicone again (even after we asked to confirm)- a health risk bc if moisture gets in, mold will result. No Moen fixtures as promised + worker said they don't offer Moen - why did rep promise us, then? 2/12: Sent email with request for reply and confirm compensation in 24 hours. 2/18: Still no response read more

I was going through BJ's wholesale club. I thought it was a good deal as BJ's was advertising no interest for 12 months. This company was used byBJ's for my siding proposal. Absolutely terrible company up to suspicious activity. They used GreenSky for financing. GreenSky pulls from your account at the beginning even before work starts to begin the clock ticking on your 12 month no interest financing. It's now 6 months, no work started, nothing! Watch out for this company and GreenSky. I have filed complaints with Attorney General's Office and discussing legal options. read more

Not satisfied with their work at all! They are the preferred contractor through BJs for window installation but really we would have been better off going to Home Depot, Lowe's or anyone BUT them. The windows itself are fine but the work to get them in my window frame was patched in like it was done by a handyman!! They added extra wood and it wasn't even aligned properly, the spacing was crooked everywhere! We followed up with the Manager to share our concerns and were promised that someone would come to inspect it but the minute we paid the balance owed, we NEVER heard from them again!! So much for integrity and business ethics - both of which they have none!!! I would caution anyone from hiring this company. The sales person was extremely pushy and not fun to deal with. Once we did hire, we were told our shower would be installed in 4-6 weeks. That was a flat out lie. We didn't hear from anyone for months, and when we finally did they said an incorrect measurement was taken. Someone came out ot the house to take a new measurement and still the wrong shower base was ordered. When the date came to installation no one showed up, and it took hours to get into contact with the company. When they finally did show up with correct parts, they installed the wrong shower head and put holes in outside walls. I was promised a refund and a new showerhead, and still no one will return my calls. Horrible customer service and completely unorganized. Do NOT hire. read more

Joe Mac, a senior inspector, came to our house to give us an estimate for mold (we smelled something in our bathroom). Upon 5 minutes of looking in our attic, he told us that we a level 1 issue and it would cost approximately $6,000 to fix it. We had a second opinion come the next day - we have ZERO MOLD!. He then did a 5 minute radon test (radon cannot be tested in 5 minutes) and told us that our levels were extremely elevated and "Off the record, I would have put this house on the market yesterday. If you retire here you will die of lung cancer in your 80s." This was also said in front of our two toddlers. He used scare tactics on young parents and we feel targeted. He is unprofessional, dishonest and should not be working as a sales person. Had we not gotten a second opinion, we would have spent $6000 on a mold issue that does not exist. In addition, he took advantage of a young family by using scare tactics to make his sale and created panic in our household. I would NEVER recommend PIC Home Pros.
