We walked to this coffee shop from Margaritaville resort and were happy we did! (Just a short walk) we were in much need of good coffee and it was amazing we also purchased bagels and they were fresh and soft and they also put plenty of cream cheese on them! The staff was friendly and they were pretty busy at the time we went. It had a layed back vibe which we liked. Prices were good for everything we got 2- large ice coffees, 4 large hot coffees and 5 bagels all for $40 some dollars! They also write nice messages on the coffee cups which was a nice touch! Heard the piña colada was good. We were close it was convenient to pop in. The beverage size is 16 ounces. My sister ordered a virgin piña colada. She said it is delicious, authentic. I wanted some caffeine and couldn't decide between hot or cold so ordered the blended vanilla nut with a drizzle of caramel around the inside of the cup. Each morning we moseyed to this small plaza, literally across the entrance from our resort, Margarita Ville. The store was clean, the service was quick and the food was tasty. The menu consisted of coffee, smoothies, daiquiris, bottled drinks and sandwiches made on bagels. I ordered the ham, egg and cheese on cinnamon raisin bagel with a smoothie each morning. My girlfriend ordered the same sandwich with an iced cappuccino. The layout of the store is as such: the register and menu are flanked to the left, seating is in the middle and to the far right are slot machines. Picasso's Coffee is a great place to visit. The ladies that run the place are absolutely wonderful. Ms. Bush is so welcoming. We were greeted kindly and the menu was shared. We tried the local Dumb bread and a croissant stuffed with egg and bacon. Both were very good. The coffee is really good. They also have dairy milk alternatives for those that don't partake. They offered almond milk instead. The decor is simple yet functional. She shared the local weather update due to the pending tropical storm. Letting us know to be mindful while out. We stopped here 2 times while staying in St thomas. This place appears to be popular with the locals and tourists visiting. Both times we received great drinks and awesome service. My fiancé and I had blended drinks both times and really enjoyed them. Their breakfast sandwiches looked great, although we didn't end up trying them. I asked for no whip cream and she made up for it with extra blended drink lol. My only regret is that we didn't find them sooner while on our trip. I'm just not a morning person and no one should talk to me until I've had my first cup of coffee. Picasso's Coffee helps me to be a human being again and is the only coffee shop outside of McDonalds in tutu( don't go here unless you'd like attitude served up with your morning caffeine) that is open right now on the way to the east side of St. Thomas. My lovely co-worker introduced me to this shop a while back and was such a sweetheart to swing by every morning on her way in to get us coffee. It is reasonably priced and they move quickly but it may be best to have someone else go here because the parking situation out front is terrible. There are only a few spots so double parking happens which is so not the way to start out the morning. It's also right across the entrance to Margaretville Vacation club which unfortunately has turned out to be not that great of an area to be in for a long period of time (its a sketchy rough neighborhood). Picasso's was such a delight! It saved us from starvation because Margaritaville's dining establishments were closed during our stay. Its right outside the resort making it convenient for guests to come by. As from their menus, I can see they offer a number of delicious frappes and other beverages. For the drinks, I ordered an iced coffee and a dark coffee. The iced coffee was bold and sweet at the same time. I enjoyed it, very tasty. For the food, I ordered two turkey egg and cheese sandwiches along with 2 slices of bacon quiche. Everything was delicious. The customer service by the 3 women were exceptional and efficient. They had quite the volume, as you can see they weren't used to, due to the closures of the resort but it benefitted them in a major way. They do only take cash, which is a bit of a set back but visiting here you will not regret it. Much success to them! read more

Nice little hidden gem right outside of Margarittaville Resort. I ordered a Chocolate Frappe and. Turkey, egg and cheese on Dumb bread all was pretty tasty. Dumb bread is a island coconut bread. My family and I stopped in to grab breakfast and were disappointed that by 10:30, they were almost out of everything. I understand that since they are on an island, deliveries and such can take a bit longer. Once they are out of something for the day, you are just out of luck. We did order a strawberry smoothie and two iced coffees and all 3 were absolutely delicious! We ended up visiting a total of 3 times. All of the ladies that work there are very lovely.
