We were looking for someplace new to have our anniversary dinner, and found this one. We hadn't been here before, so decided to go for a healthy Italian meal. It's a small, but comfortable restaurant. We arrived just before 5pm on a Monday, it wasn't busy at all. However, as the evening wore on, the diners kept coming in...a few large groups, too. We started with the Whipped Herb Ricotta with Focaccia. So glad we did!! It was delightful. The ricotta cheese was so light and flavorful, the focaccia was cut into points and matched perfectly with the tasty cheese. For our mains, hubby went with the Salmon with Quinoa...he tried to eat it slowly, but somehow ended up inhaling it...LOL! I chose the Chicken Piccata over Rigatoni with a side of a Vegetable Medley. The sauce was very good, the chicken was grilled and baked to perfection and the veggies were perfect (a mix of zucchini, sweet potato and kale). My only slight complaint was the rigatoni were too al dente for me. But, that's just a personal preference. Our server was very friendly and the evening was very enjoyable. I have to start by giving a huge shout-out to our waitress, Tatum! She was beyond amazing--friendly, attentive, and truly made our first visit memorable. Her excellent service made our dining experience even better. Picazzo's is absolutely incredible. I love that they offer both vegan and non-vegan options, making it easy for everyone to find something they'll enjoy. My boyfriend and I ordered several dishes so we could sample a variety of items, and every single bite was delicious. We tried the vegan meatballs with marinara, the vegan meatball mushroom pesto pasta, the Naples Margherita pizza, the chicken piccata, and finished with the oatmeal apple pie served with gelato. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere was welcoming, relaxing, and perfect for a nice dinner. We were impressed from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. This was our first time at Picazzo's, and if every visit is like this one, we'll definitely be regulars. I met some friends here for happy hour and I'm so glad they chose this place. I've never been but I pass by all the time. I love how many options they have for people that are gluten-free, vegan, etc. they really do put in extra care if you have celiac and have a dedicated pizza oven and take cross-contamination seriously. I am not Celiac however so I enjoyed their cheesy bread and the chicken Parmesan. It was the perfect balance of hearty but also refreshing. I was so indecisive between so many things on the menu, but our server was really good at explaining the menu and our service was great. My one and only complaint is that my cosmopolitan tasted like plain juice, but everything was very good and the other drink I ordered was perfect! I will be back very shortly! read more

First time at Picazzo's. It did not disappoint. Friends had recommended it for a while and we are so glad we stopped in. They have a regular menu, in addition to Vegan and Gluten free items. All made with healthier choices. Lauren took care of us and she was a gem. Attentive, social and kind. Very cute inside. Lovely decor. Sadly a very disappointing experience, unlike other visits to different locations. The menu listed a Naples Margarita pizza which, to me at least, indicates a Margarita Neopolitan style. Was not that style and far from a classic Margarita which is traditionally just Tomato sauce with mozzarella and basil. This one used the cheese as the base with tomatoes and basil and far too much oil and garlic. Crust was very hard on the bottom and somewhat dry. It's a casual place with an interesting menu. It took me a while to find something that wasn't too healthy. I had the Spicy Thai Peanut Fusilli. Fusilli is a spiral pasta, I had to google it. Fresh fusilli pasta sautéed with heirloom carrots, peas, toasted almonds, grilled chicken, broccoli and a spicy Thai peanut sauce balanced with coconut milk & topped with fresh cilantroI - I enjoyed it. My date ordered a chicken dish that she really didn't like. I tried it and it had a little "off" flavor to it. Had a really delicious lunch here with my family! We came in with a group of 5 around 11:45am on a Saturday, and got seated immediately as it was fairly empty. However it filled up pretty fast and by 1pm when we left it looked to be at about capacity. The food was great, and the lunch specials are a really good deal. I got the vegan pizza combo with the white bean kale soup, and everything was amazing. The lunch combo comes with only one slice but it's a very large slice. I love how vegan friendly the menu is. I got my pizza with vegan meatballs and vegan chicken, both of which were tasty and they actually give a solid amount of the toppings and vegan cheese as well, unlike some places where they skimp if you order vegan. They also have a kids menu, and interestingly enough you can also order from the kids menu if you are over 12 but it is a $5 extra charge. The service was great, except for when they brought out the food they had accidentally swapped me and my sister's soup orders (the soup comes on the same plate as your pizza). Not a big deal, otherwise everything was fantastic. My parents ordered one of the specialty pizzas and loved it. Highly recommend! read more

Always great service coming here. Both times the wait staff was so helpful, bubbly and knowledgeable about allergies. I love that there's something for everyone - I can bring my hubby who doesn't have food allergies and he has pizza, pastas, wings etc to choose from. Always a little leery about spots that specifically advertise themselves as being "healthy," but this spot really is a typical American/Italian bar and grill that pays attention and caters to people with special dietary restrictions. They have a separate vegetarian and vegan menu, and can work with any allergens someone may have. The food here was pretty standard for the type of restaurant it is (a step above a TGIFridays or Applebees). We got a pizza and baked brie appetizer. The how honey pizza had a little too much hot honey and was a little soggy, but otherwise fairly decent. Server was super friendly and nice.
