Although that was too much food, we had to get pizza on cauliflower crust with vegan meatballs vegan sausage. A dream come true for vegetarians. Service was perfect. First time at Picazzo's. It did not disappoint. Friends had recommended it for a while and we are so glad we stopped in. They have a regular menu, in addition to Vegan and Gluten free items. All made with healthier choices. Lauren took care of us and she was a gem. Attentive, social and kind. Very cute inside. Lovely decor. We had the Elote vegan pizza, Chipotle vegan pasta, Happy hour draft beers and Vegan New York Style cheesecake. Delicious, Fun and Great service. We noticed they have a daily lunch special as well. Sadly a very disappointing experience, unlike other visits to different locations. The menu listed a Naples Margarita pizza which, to me at least, indicates a Margarita Neopolitan style. Was not that style and far from a classic Margarita which is traditionally just Tomato sauce with mozzarella and basil. This one used the cheese as the base with tomatoes and basil and far too much oil and garlic. Crust was very hard on the bottom and somewhat dry. Love coming here for happy hour! Their prices have gone up by couple of dollars for their HH food but still reasonable. I got their HH meatballs, 1 topping pizza, and my favorite and famous GF cheese bread. All were all so delicious but the meatballs were a little too strong on the herbs for my taste. My daughter and I do half elote (minus the onions) and have of the hot honey pepperoni with arugula. It's so good! The service is always great and the staff helpful. Had a really delicious lunch here with my family! We came in with a group of 5 around 11:45am on a Saturday, and got seated immediately as it was fairly empty. However it filled up pretty fast and by 1pm when we left it looked to be at about capacity. The food was great, and the lunch specials are a really good deal. I got the vegan pizza combo with the white bean kale soup, and everything was amazing. The lunch combo comes with only one slice but it's a very large slice. I love how vegan friendly the menu is. I got my pizza with vegan meatballs and vegan chicken, both of which were tasty and they actually give a solid amount of the toppings and vegan cheese as well, unlike some places where they skimp if you order vegan. They also have a kids menu, and interestingly enough you can also order from the kids menu if you are over 12 but it is a $5 extra charge. The service was great, except for when they brought out the food they had accidentally swapped me and my sister's soup orders (the soup comes on the same plate as your pizza). Not a big deal, otherwise everything was fantastic. My parents ordered one of the specialty pizzas and loved it. Highly recommend! read more

Fresh fusilli pasta sautéed with heirloom carrots, peas, toasted almonds, grilled chicken, broccoli and a spicy Thai peanut sauce balanced with coconut milk & topped with fresh cilantroI - I enjoyed it. My date ordered a chicken dish that she really didn't like. I tried it and it had a little "off" flavor to it. My husband and I tried out this amazing place a couple of weeks ago. We sat at the bar, and our bartender, Peyton was fantastic! This girl has a fantastic attitude and is perfect behind the bar! We had not eaten there before so we asked her several questions which she was happy to answer. She asked if either of us had any allergies and then told us some of the popular dishes. Let me start off by saying that we ate Dined in with a group of 14 people. at the Gilbert, AZ store and the food was amazing, the service was great. We ordered in tonight from the Glendale store. My husband ordered chicken bbq pizza, it came with no sauce! I ordered the kids chicken alfredo and the noodles and chicken were very dry and very little sauce. I also the ordered the focaccia half loaf and they sent gf toast, with nothing on it. The Gilbert store actually makes gf focaccia that is amazing. Needless to say we are very disappointed. I love that there's something for everyone - I can bring my hubby who doesn't have food allergies and he has pizza, pastas, wings etc to choose from. I love that there's an ENTIRE vegan menu for me to choose from! Not just a few items - there is a menu for normal things and a menu for vegan. Their original GF crust is Dairy free and most normal looking and tasting I've tried so far. Always a little leery about spots that specifically advertise themselves as being "healthy," but this spot really is a typical American/Italian bar and grill that pays attention and caters to people with special dietary restrictions. They have a separate vegetarian and vegan menu, and can work with any allergens someone may have. The how honey pizza had a little too much hot honey and was a little soggy, but otherwise fairly decent. Server was super friendly and nice. We were looking for a new pizza place after Bottega closed last fall. We had been to this restaurant when it was located on Bell Road in Surprise. We were never disappointed. Today we were disappointed. We ordered the Naples Margherita pizza. It was not what we expected. A traditional Margherita is tomato sauce with a good mozzarella and basil. This had those three ingredients (well, cherry tomatoes rather than sauce), but they were overwhelmed by garlic and olive oil. The pizza slices were not cut completely and we couldn't separate them. We asked our server to have the pizza cut again. When she brought it back, she passed our table and spent three or four minutes talking to the guests at another table, letting our pizza cool off. If we visit again we will not order pizza. read more

My husband and I had dinner here before a show at the Arizona Broadway Theater, as there seemed to be very few places with vegan options in this area. While I appreciate the vegan options, the food itself was pretty average while being very pricey. I ordered a "chicken" parmesan, which was a bunch of vegan chicken pieces mixed in with some pretty uneventful tomato sauce. There was very little vegan cheese involved, and had I not known what it was supposed to be, I would not have recognized it as a veganized chicken parm dish. It came with some rigatoni (again with little/no cheese) and some sauteed green beans. It was a decent sized portion, but even still it didn't really make sense for $26! My husband ordered the vegan "chicken wing bites," which were the same thing as my dish, but tossed in buffalo sauce. The buffalo sauce had quite a kick. Honestly, it was better than my dish. I am not sure how frequently I would return, mostly on the price tag alone. If it had been really awesome and inspiring, the price tag wouldn't matter, but I can toss some tenders in sauce at home for far less. I would try the pizza, which hopefully has a reasonable amount of cheese. read more
