LOVE Piccadilly. One of my favorite restaurants in Foster City & easily one of the best restaurants on the Peninsula for Southern Food. This place is totally a hidden gem - it's located on the SM/FC border near 92 in a business area. They relocated from their other location in the middle of FC a while back & this location is much nicer! Don't get discouraged when looking for it, because it's worth it! My favorite is the fried chicken & mac. Always hot, crispy & juicy. That with the vinegary hot sauce, & I'm in heaven. The Mac & Cheese is so good - cheesy & gooey. It's the right amount of pasta to cheese ratio too - not overly gooey but cheesy enough. The chicken is perfectly fried, juicy, and never greasy. * Jambalaya - Great as a dish or a side. They load in the sausage and chicken. I grew up in the south and its been a long while since I've had Southern food. Piccadilly Catering is awesome and made me feel like I was home again. I think I would have gained 25 extra pounds when I was pregnant had I known about this place because I seriously would have been there ever week. My husband had the spicy jambalaya and collard greens which was great and had a nice kick. Pam of Piccadeilly, catered our son and his partners wedding seven years ago at San Francisco's Green Room on Van Ness. She did an absolutely fantastic job, most pleasant, reasonably priced for the services, food and extras. This month our son graduated from Stanford and we turned again to Piccadilly Catering and were ushered through the process by LATISA BROOKS. Latisa was so pleasant, calming, efficient and had the experience to provide support and help. She (and Pam) came to the Stanford campus for a party of around 50 people. Latisa and her staff, who were most pleasant, humorous, professional and were a delight to deal with. They were very attentive, nicely dressed and waited on our guests most professionally. The linens, decorations, presentation and importantly the food was outstanding. They came into the room early, set it up, had beverages and the food ready to go when our group arrived after the ceremonies (which by the way were wonderful). They served the late lunch/early dinner, served cake, coffee, tea and as the last guest was leaving they had the entire room clean, everything put away, their van loaded and off they went. I don't remember ever writing a Yelp Review so to do this was highly unusual for me. I think, in short (too late for that), that Latisa and her staff truly saved the day for us.
